Who is Dominque ?
What did this town do to get that kind of ire?
Perhaps I should head back to sea....

Dominique is a member of a sect of those who have taken the powers and teachings of the ma'khet and has distorted them. They have been spoken of in whispers in coast haven for generations but have not been seen for quite some time... until these last few years where she has made herself known, and has targeted Travance with her ire.

I owe her for putting me through the phockus and for what she did to Lark. I do not want her to forget us for I know I have not forgotten her. If she shows her face in Travance again I only pray we get to meet face to face this time.

I have already proven once that my fists are capable of overcoming their so-called "voodoo." If she wishes to return then I will be happy to have another chance to do so. After all, any scientific hypothesis must be tested multiple times. Squire Freeman, please do keep me informed.
With respects,
William Sterling

I will be completely out of contact for the near future. I will hopefully be returning prior to the next feast. If you have any questions please contact Belegchand or Starling, as I have shared my information with them.

I suppose that this would be directed towards Belegchand or Starling, but are these tokens sticks tied together?
Dame Amalthea and I were called to deal with what we were told was a blight totem, but I couldn't tell of any blight on it. When Dame Amalthea looked at it she said it reminded her of a legend from Coast Haven, but couldn't place the exact one.
We found this totem in the Djinn and Tonic, hanging from the chandelier over a small potted sapling, on Sunday morning of the Extended Feast.

Yes, these were small bundles of sticks tied together with white string. Does that match what you discovered in the Djinn and Tonic?
Is it possible you could describe (or better yet, sketch) the shape? Thus far of the three I have seen all have been different shapes.

If I recall, there was an arch, with perhaps two sticks lashed horizontally across it, dividing the top into a semi-circle, tied with string in pink and green. I apologize, but I didn't think to sketch it before disposing of it. The item was barely bigger than my hand. It reminded me of Coast Haven legends of boogeymen who lurk in the night.

There's many things in Coast Haven that are only spoken of in hushed whispers and behind closed doors. It seems we had an uninvited guest at the extended feast, whom nonbody saw, but wanted us to know of their presence anyway.
