Regarding the Healing Obelisk was created by Starling (starling)
To all those concerned with the Healing Obelisk in Travance,
(You know, the broken one. Until recently corrupted, purified thanks in large part to Therion, and currently sitting inert in the Spirit Realm near the Phokus.)
It's time we do something. The Friday of this upcoming Feast, I invite any and all who wish to gather at the Guard's Barracks to come and make an attempt at activating the Obelisk again, or at least discerning how we can do so. We know the Obelisk is in some way active at two in the morning, so I plan to come to the Guard's Barracks at half past one in the morning, to allow time to compile the information that we have thus far. With our combined understanding, hopefully we can formulate a plan of action. I welcome all parties interested to come and help research and plan, and at two in the morning -- if we've come up with a good idea or a good theory to test -- to take action.
I'd be glad to answer any questions - here, by missive sent to Oringard, or in person - to the best of my ability (and under the hopeful pretense that all these plans are not derailed by ongoing demonic invasion, of course). I am hopeful there are also other informed parties who will be able and willing to weigh in.
I hope to communicate with many of you about this further,
Starling

The Guard Barracks being my home and all of you being my family, I will do all that I can in the time leading up to my arrival, to prevent demonic interruption.

You have my full support. The only suggestion I have is to leave closer to one bell or one bell and a quarter, to allot time for incoming disaster and for those who have a habit of being late to things.
I also offer myself as a designated healer who will stay awake at the inn, should we not have anyone else to stay behind, to make sure we can properly defend against whatever so desires to invade.

I wish I could go! I'm supposed to help with this, I think. The Dark Arani heavily implied it, anyway, but I won't be able to come to the proper for this feast. Please tell me what happens?

I know nothing of Spirits or the Phokus or anything of the sort. But should you need the Aid of a Druid Elder, do let me know.

I am unsure if I will be in the Proper this feast. But if I am able to leave the demon preparations in Kaladonia, I will be present for this. I would like to see this through.

I promised an old friend I'd help with this. Even if I can't go into the Spirit Realm anymore, I'll try and assist where I can.
Should I add this to the research docket Friday evening?

Thank you all for your responses. In more specifics:
Mantel, thank you.
Sgt. Nalick, I am sure we are not the only ones who will appreciate your efforts. Far, far from it.
Ergos, that is a wise suggestion. I'll try to be there myself between one and one and a quarter, and anyone else who is finds themselves able to do so might be wise to try. As to your other offer - I want to look for and ask the aid of the many other individuals in Travance who can heal, but who are not tied to the Obelisk as healers are, though you wisely point out a specific need and your offer is generous - if there are any volunteers who would stay to guard the people in the Inn it would be a great service.
Midori, I promise I will fill you in as best I'm able, as soon as possible. And.... well, he did seem to imply as much, but lacking his considerable foresight, I think the best thing I can say is that we don't know how things will play out or how you'll be involved. Just that you somehow will. (Having observed for myself something akin to the same thing, I know it's an unnerving response at best, and I'm sorry for that.) But you will be missed.
Hierophant Nesterin, this actually has much less (directly, anyway) to do with the Phokus - aside from being in proximity to it - and more to do with Healing and the Arani. I appreciate your offer and may seek you out to consult if time and circumstances allow.
Ravani, thank you.
Squire Ilana, I'm hopeful that even those who can't access the Spirit Realm will be able to render aid - and yes, research would be of great use. I plan to sit down with anyone who shows up at half past one and do whatever final research we can, but more information is always better.
.... Also, to all, my apologies for an overlong piece of parchment.

Starling,
I will be present at this time. I look forward to working with everyone on this and am hopeful we will manage to at least gather more information at the least.

Ah, apologies for the confusion. As previously stated this is not my forte so I'm quick to become confused. Of course, whatever you need that I can provide is at your disposal.

I may be able to lend my own assistance to this matter, should my other duties to my chieftain be concluded by that hour.

If, by the power and will of Valos, I can offer any aid in this matter I will be there to help - assuming this old man can keep his eyes opened beyond the massive paperwork necessary for a Church with such sometimes cumbersome hierarchical demands.
