Necrophitus, Druidics and the Weave was created by O. Nesterin (kuemanner)
It has come to my attention in the past few days that we *finally* have confirmation as to where druidics originates from. I overheard Belegchand speaking to another person so I do not have the full details but, druidics seems to already come from the weave in some way.
My question/concern on this is, does this mean we do not have to do anything to protect it from Necrophitus? I see every other type of magic user running around like a headless chicken trying to protect what powers they utilize but we as the druids have not. Are we in danger of losing our power to Necrophitus or are we already "protected"? Should we be doing something?
It feels very disconcerting that we have not been required to step up and do anything to protect ourselves and Arawyn as a whole. Perhaps someone that has knowledge of this or Necrophitus in general could instruct me as to how i should be proceeding because none of this makes any sense to me.

I will assume since there has been no response to my original posting either no one knows, or there is nothing to be done.

Look, I'm covered in dirt but that doesn't mean I study it. But someone like that seems threatening to just about everyone, don't you think? Maybe think less about your personal stake in it, because he's already decided for you.

Necrophitus had designed the power magic to be siphoned off to him, as well as drained the energies of the gods themselves, and sap energy from literally every source. Do you really think he would have skipped druidic energy? Why?
Be wise, and assume you just can't tell how. You're safer that way.

So impatient, aren't we? Maybe you're just not looking in the right place for your answers. Necrophitus is indeed a threat to everyone and everything, including us, for reasons that aren't quite clear yet. Look for me at your next feast, and maybe we can find answers together.

Nesterin,
That would be the Trickster Aspect.
Glad to see you'll be there next feast Trickster. I was sad that I missed you last feast. Looking forward to what you have to say next time.

You know me, Nesterin, and you don't. I know you as well. I've known you since your first lessons with Kalendris, and I've known you through the scorched earth in the hidden vale. You know me, and you'll remember. You can find me by the laughter and the knowing nods, by the introspection and the smiling tears.
Or you can ask Caelvan for help. He cheats.

Glad to see you’ve kept well, Trickster. I hope the Grove is still safe, and learning well.
And, Trickster, you know well enough it’s not cheating - It’s using what you have to an advantage. It’s what you do best.
If Caelvan is not around for some reason, Nesterin, I can also introduce.

That name is not one to be written or spoken so freely Trickster. Since you know so much about me and about him, you best know to hold your quill next time, and bite your tongue should you feel it appropriate to say his name aloud. I do not care who it is your are.

Now,
I have no meaning to this word, Kalendris. But I can see you attempting to crawl under our friend O.Nesterins skin. Might I suggest as to try and jest, to say more pertaining to him.
You see lessons are kind of like druids (just one) who mope around saying "We're done..."
This Hierophant, is well accomplished. He with help managed to summon Gaia, well a fey, but close enough.
eh... for now I'll post pone this mess, for I must contest. I still owe him a nice blend of pink tea.
Well.... good luck I guess, don't die yet.

Just to clarify, I accidently summoned Timmeron, Gaia did show up not too long after, I am no longer the Hierophant and Kalendris was someone very dear to me.

Nesterin,
Please mark your words with more respect. He is one of five primal spirits. His words are there to teach through jest and jibe. Heed the message not jovial covering.

So many friends, both new and old, and even the new friends are old ones. The Daughter of Time, The Reluctant Serpent, and my former Champion against the Plagues, I do so very much look forward to teaching each of you in turn once again. And to you, the Lizard of Light, I anticipate seeing you again, for the first time, and re-introducing myself.
Look for my signs the morning after your feast. I do have oh so much to tell you.

Champion against the plagues? I think I was there for that, for whatever reason. Might as well continue that tradition, hey?
