To The People of Travance

I am having a tough time fighting old habits and declaring this man an enemy of the people. But the more I read, the more I find his way of thought to be a threat to the safety of others. I understand wanting peace, but to blatantly disregard the logic set before you in hopes that we are in some fantasty world where there will always be a completely peaceable solution is insane as well as dangerous to those around you. While it is all well and good to hope we can find a solution without violence, the realistic thing is that that will not always be the case. There is still a war to be fought, and people will need to answer for their crimes. Whether this man agrees with it or not, the majority of us seem to understand the true severity of what is happening.

I will admit, there are still things I am learning about this place. I hope to be able to protect and serve these people and help save those of the Empire who are in danger from the Duke and his rule. I am proof that not all who were serving understand the full severity of the situation and so fight due to being misled as to what is actually happening. But those who are doing the misleading are the Duke and his Chancellor. They are not ignorant in what they are doing. They are the snakes in the grass that we need to root out and where I think our focus needs to be.

And so I propose that we end this discussion here on these papers now. All it is doing is cluttering up these boards and distracting us from what needs to be done. If he wishes to actually listen to a discussion, then let him. However if he continues to impede, then obviously further measures will need to be taken. But for now, unless someone who has been here longer and has more say than I do, I suggest that we ignore his words instead of feeding the fire. Ignore the words, but be wary of the person. And if he attempts to impede what needs to be done, utilize the laws you have put in place.

But why not let him speak? Maybe he has more information about these true warlocks nobody knows. He also has been through a-lot and he should have a chance to speak, same thing for the Chancellor who is in control, and as this man says not through his own will. If the Doctor has been so close to the Chancellor and knows him so well maybe he has information we need.

He had a chance to speak. He's spoken for several pages now. The speaking part is done. If there is any credence to his claims, however doubtful that may be, we are in the process of finding such a thing out. There is nothing more papers here will accomplish. While I think it is preposterous to imagine the good doctor's hopes for peace, love and harmony make him a traitor, I agree that his hopes are misplaced. Also, this is not a court of law. This is war. If there is an opportunity to take prisoners and bring them to salvation or trial, it should be taken, but otherwise it is our duty to kill them all in defense of the Kingdom and let their "potentially gentle" souls find peace in death.

Any silver-lining to this storm will make little difference if we are struck by its lightning and I will not hesitate to bring it to an end.

Maybe our duty is to survive, obtain peace, and progress. Killing doesn’t need to be a part of it. I wish us all wisdom.

Kid, I fought alotta things in my life, I killed people an things and came close to death myself. Killin an death happens no matter what ya say or wish, an no amount of yer researching will change that. One persons peace be another's chaos. Just listen to yer elders and the heroes round here who been dealing with this kinda stuff longer than ya. While we may not have the Wytchwood knocking on our door, we do have our fair share of negative energy beings, True Warlocks included. We have many experts on True Warlocks here in Travance, several which have chimed in on this posting. While I always support research as a means of expanding the mind, there comes a point where sometimes there is simply nothing left a book can teach. There comes a point where practical knowledge and experience are the true expansion of learning.

I don’t condone killing, but there are some in this world that cannot be saved. Far more lives will be lost in a foolhardy attempt to save him than in one that accepts that the Symbyote and his host’s death is the only choice to save the most lives.

Don't be ridiculous, Jericho, the tails are considered a delicacy if prepared properly. I have even heard they have alchemical benefits if worked correctly.

I have never heard that rat's tails could have alchemical benefits. I'm most curious to experiment with this now. I have previously used newt tails for recipes before.

It's a legend that's been passed around for ages, many have written it off as an old wives "tail" (pardon my Chetting, there), but there are startling properties within the tails that have kept people wondering as to their true nature. If you don't believe me, do some background research, If I recall correctly there are even talks of the tails being used in tandem with philosopher's stones and immortality tinctures in the distant past.
