A Summons to Parlay

To the Protectorate of Mercy and Her Champions,

Its is now just over three years since we came to settle amongst the people of the Barony. Indeed, just over two since Stonefall was legitimized and the practice of the Dark Arts tolerated and eventually raised to “glory” by the Ebond Hound.

Like many of you, I have given much for this place in exchange for Her gift at a third chance at life. I devoted years of service to the Inquisition, protected this place from the fiends most fowl, brought knowledge to a stronghold meant for war, and taught the Raven Queen's teachings.

But alas, here was all sit. This place, time and time again, proves not to be a true home to those like me. The time after Eden's world has shown that to me quite clearly. Though Mercy's Daughter has plead to me to stop, no real recourse is ever brought forth to remedy my ire. My patience wears thin.

So, out of a final sign of respect for the pain endured and lessons learned on that Isle, I shall bring my claims forward to all those who champion the Esper known to us as Mercy. I will parlay with you.

On the eve of the 13th of April at the 23rd chime of the clock, I will return to the Proper. I will be alone, but encourage you to bring some protection should fear govern your thoughts. Be warned, should I find that all you assume is nothing but the worst, like say what occurred when I sacrificed myself to the pyre, I will not be … amused.

To ensure we are not interrupted, I will wait for you all at the clearing atop the hill just passed the Barricades of the Proper (( OOG: Top of Totem Pole Hill )).

To those of you who are angry, let me just say this. I have lived in Travance for 3 years now. I have saved most of your lives at least once, and I very rarely ask for anything. Yeah, I'm with Solitaire on this one. If I'd like to hear what's to be said but more importantly everyone involved has earned the right to speak, so if I'm coming to this party it's mostly to make sure there are no interlopers and conversation gets to be had.

Must say, this is an interesting trend of notes. Allow me to address things as they stand:

To My Former Executioner,
It is a shame that your former Baron and the other Lordlings did not fill you in on why you were requested to execute me. Alas, maybe I might be able to shed some light on that at the meeting should you desire to attend in good faith.

To Those Offering Protection,
I welcome your presence at the parlay. Those who have currently shown their desire to ensure the safety of those who wish to treat in good faith are always to be held to the highest regard. Good on you all for taking the initiative.

To Those Quite Confused by this Letter,
I am sure this all can be viewed as quite cryptic and vague should you be in the dark for what has transpired in my time here. I encourage you all to speak to those who have posted here about my previous action. I'm sure you will hear quite the colorful tale indeed ...

To The Entity that Calls itself Moostrav,
I do indeed remember the conversation you had with Ignus and myself just before Eden's grasp enclosed itself around this world. Should you ever wish to pursue it, you know quite well of my contacts and abilities to facilitate. Speak with Midori should you ever wish to establish a mental connection, though I warn it is not always a pleasant experience.

To Midori, Dirge, Olivia and Others Coming to Converse,
I am glad to see that you have taken my warning seriously. While my age grips my body quite strongly as of late, do not think for a moment that if my faith in you all is dashed one last time that I will not take swift action to remedy that final insult. It is always quite good to see my daughter prosper after struggling for so long.
