Latex Weapon Drive

With the addition of the trailer, we have created a new weapon rack for logistics, and now need to fill it!

Knight Realms will be holding a latex weapon drive for the next few months.

Assuming that the weapon is in good to new condition, the guideline I will be using will be 1 build, 1 raffle ticket,  and 250 SP for every 20 dollars (actually spent after any discounts) on latex weapons to a maximum of 4 build for each weapon and a maximum of 8 build for multiple weapons.

The raffle ticket will be to win a specially designed legendary weapon, shield, or item of the winner’s choice of type. The item will be custom designed to fit the class/race of the winner.

If you do not already have latex weapons on hand to donate, and wish to donate ones that have not yet been purchased, we will accept strait cash that will be earmarked to immediately buy the new weapons that we specifically need.  This way we can choose exactly what we need for logistics and then buy them at a very good discount, allowing us to get more.

If you choose to donate the money and have us choose the weapons to purchase, we will make sure you get the maximum reward for your dollar, meaning if you donate 160 dollars for weapons, you will receive the largest amount of compensation possible from this drive.

This NPC weapon drive will continue from now until October, and the raffle drawing will take place at the Moresca Ball, do not worry if you cannot make the ball, the winner need not be present for the ball to win.

Donations will be taken at sign-in of the events.

This has been approved by James C. Kimball:

Clarification:  Those with multiple characters may get the build and SP for each, but only one set of raffle tickets to keep things fair.

If one donates more money, do they get more tickets? Or are you capped after the initial $160?

Capped, you greedy bastard, which is why those paying for multiple characters only get one set of raffle tickets.  I do like the way you think, though.  Ever play board wargames/historical simulations?

The term bastard is not intended as a slur on the marital statuts of Rob's parents at the time of his birth or conception, but rather ... :)

Sweet, custom stuff!

Will KR still be accepting shields and boffer weapon donations that are too costly for the latex equivilant? (Polearms and Staffs)

No Shields or Non-Latex weapons. I am planning to get Staves, Pole-arms, and Two handed swords as Latex as well.

Build can be split between characters yes.

I'd have to discourage any Forgotten Dreams 2 handed weapon.  The whip on them is INSANE.  I shouldn't be able to reaching AROUND your shield and hit you in the back while looking you in the eyes.

The Iron Fortress ones however are much nicer, regarding whip.  It's really quite minimal.

I have a latex sword I've been looking to sell, that I'd gladly sell for a discount to anyone who wants to take part in this drive and get the benefits and doesn't have one to donate. PM me for details, I just want to recoup a few bucks from what I spent.
