Rules Update: Higher List Lores was created by Ardentfyre (Ardentfyre)

All higher lists follow these rules: A character’s first higher list costs 1 build to open, and each additional list costs 10 build to open.  Upon spending the required build to open the higher list the character gains the Lore affiliated with that list.  These lores are exclusive to each higher list and can only be gained in this way.  Higher lists that have an antithesis (Evil/Good) gain the Lore of their opposite as well as their own.  There is no limit to the number of higher lists a character may have open.  A character may only learn two skills total from all of the higher lists they know each event – one of these may be new, the other must be self-taught.  (Thus, even if you have three higher lists open, you can only learn one new skill and one already known skill total, not from each list).  The teacher of a higher list may only teach the actual list itself (which is considered a higher list skill) once every six months, and should mark ontheir card when they taught the list upon teaching it.

The bolded section is the update.  If you currently have any lores associated with a higher list and do not have that list, please let either myself or Sam know so that we can resolve it.

This has also been posted under the Higher List Overview section of the rulebook.

Just for clarification's sake.  Does this mean one with Master Warrior would have Lore: Master Warrior?  Is this Lore added to your character sheet?

Yes, and that's up to Sam :)

It'll be implied from now on that you have those lores if you have the higher list on your card.  It really won't be necessary to to have the lore listed on your card.

Yeah chances are they won't be added to the card. It would just take up space.

So it's safe to assume that if you have the higher list you have the lore even if it's not listed on your card?

What about alignment based sub sections of higher lists?  I know there is only one, but does that mean I have:
Lore: Sorcery
Lore: White Sorcery
Lore: Black Sorcery

Lore: Sorcery gives you knowledge of all colors of sorcery, including white and black.

Does this mean anyone with a higher list lore, that doesn't have the list, will have it removed from their card?

Most likely, yes.  There's maybe one exception that I can think of, and I'll be handling that in a different fashion.
