General Festival Info was created by geezer (geezer)
The weather is projected to be in the mid to high 50s F and sunny.
If desired, given the weather projections, people can bring  pavilions.

Parking will be on the lower field, which is hard and dry.  Lanes will be delineated and if people follow instructions, we will get three rows with everyone having an egress.  Someone will be there to direct.

People may drive to the top to unload if desired, but after a certain time, TBD by James, upper access will be denied.  The tractor and cart will be available to those with heavy loads.

Food will be available on demand from around 3 pm.
Breads with butter
Beef Stew
Chicken Stew
Lentil Stew (for the soulless)
Ham (or whatever else Diane is bringing)

Veggies with dip

Apples will be out all day.

Bar snacks will be out until finished.

The first floor of the house is IG.
The second floor is for changing..
The indoor bathrooms are off limits except for changing..
The basement will be set up by plot for mods.  Details will be posted as available.
The barn will be IG both floors.  Uncertain as to what the upper floor will be, but it will be IG.
Kitchen staff/help only will have access to the kitchen facilities.

Coffee and hot water will be set up on the front porch.
Birch beer will be available someplace else, along with the usual sugar drinks.
There will be an IG announcement about the above two.

For those who have attended festivals at Casa Spiegel before, the same boundaries apply.  for newcomers, they will be explained.  Pretty straightforward.

A bonfire will be started around sunset.  A supply of wood will be nearby.

SMOKING
We will have cans set up for butts.  If you are too far away, you can either field strip the butt (shredding the filter) or carry it until you come back to an area near the house.  Cigars can be shredded by stompiing on them.

Poison ivy can be contracted even when the leaves are gone.

The Den will be the area of the General Store.

Tina will set up on the dinning room table.  If she is present, so will the "glove lady."

An a,ltar to the light gods will be in the large room at one end.

Please be very aware that the stairs to the upper floor of the barn are VERY steep and coming down them is tricky in normal clothes and shoes, let alone period garb.  The last person who slipped dislocated a shoulder.

Yes. It will be the highest Rank. Do I need to designate a set up spot for that, or will you be bringing your physreps?

We will have a couple of tables set up outside on which I will pile the various lost and found items I have accumulated over the past year or so.  What is not taken will be donated to whatever organization I think can use them.  There are a few items as well as clothing

In the foyer there is a table at the foot of the stairs.  on it will be several books people have claimed.  Please take them - they have your name on a slip  of paper sticking out like a book mark.  Also thjere will be a pile of game sand books available on a first come basis.  Feel free and Seamstress thanks you in advance.
