I have a few questions. If one chooses to NPC for the ball, will they still have to bring their own costuming or will that be provided? Also if it is provided, would there be costuming for big people? My last question, If you do not yet have a PC and NPC for the ball, will you get to keep the one use of the self teach that you get for NPCing?

Details for NPC'ing is on the link that walter posted. If you have your own generic costuming bring it, if you do not, remind me in the e-mail you send me and I will grab something for you. Please send the e-mail a week or two before the ball. You will be able to hold onto your self teach for when you start a PC.

If it is someone's first time going to KR for the ball, how much would it be for them?

due to the rule
"You may NOT teach yourself a skill you already know, or Body or Career Points. You must do this at an Event or Festival."
Does this include Prof's such as additional martial arts and weapon?

You can learn anything that you don't already have. If you don't have weapon prof, then you can learn weapon prof. If you already have weapon prof, you may not learn additional instances of that skill.

Last year, we had issues with a large number of heating things blowing the fuses repeatedly at the hall.
If you have stuff that draws a lot of power - hair dryers, curling irons, etc. - we STRONGLY recommend you use them before you arrive at the Ball, to prevent an overload on the power systems again.
If your food requires a heat source, please be careful not to plug into the same outlet as everyone else, and try to spread the load as much as you can. Bring an extension cord for your own pot, if possible.
Thank you!

Hey, kind of a short notice question, but if someone was to go to the Ball as their first event, would the usual New Player discount be able to apply to them? I have a friend who would love to go but is rather short on cash...
