Retraining - Higher Lists/Superior Traits was created by Erdrick (Erdrick)
There are a few types of retraining that will be happening over the next few months as higher lists get redone. To perform any of these you should first search out the Character Card deputy Jason, but if he cannot be found he has authorized me to help him in what will likely be a massive undertaking.
Superior Traits:
Due to the massive nature of the superior traits change every character created before 2012 will be allowed one free retraining that does not count as their once ever character retraining. This is being done because previously the crux of the game balance was on lower lists and many players focused themselves on that aspect of their character. For specific rules relating to character retraining please see the rulebook.

And as a final answer to a common question, yes if you still have your once ever retraining available you could technically do both at the same time.
Higher List Retraining:
As every higher list is redone each person with that list will be allowed to entirely unlearn and respend that list, unlike character retraining where the build only goes into your unspent pool. For this procedure we calculate the total build you have spent on the appropriate higher list and allow you to purchase any combination valid combination of skills to replace them. In the case of multiple lists sometimes we will allow you to invest some of the unlearned build into another higher list you have but such things are done in a very limited case by case basis. At the banquet and moving on anyone with the master warrior list will be required to respend their build into the new recently posted version of the list. Before January we will be releasing the new Arch-Caster list, and because of this anyone with master warrior and valence/battle casting should likely push off their card re-write till the next full event they attend.
If you have any questions to the above please write them here and Jason or I will respond.

Since retraining is being offered due to the changes with traits & higher lists... what about people with multiple higher lists? Will KR keep re-offering the chance to retrain when more changes occur for other higher lists (assuming more changes are coming to the other higher lists to bring them into same order with Master Warrior)?

Anytime a major overhaul of a list happens, anyone with that list, may retrain their character as per the higher list retraining mentioned here.

"Simply remember, keep a calm mind and foster benevolence. Walk in the light, and let goodness be your shield. Someday, we will all triumph over this chaos and evil and allow peace to flourish, but only if we remain steadfast now. The true test is before us every day."
