A Slightly More Extravagant Baronial Feast

Id like to experiment for the next few months and try to up the atmosphere of the Baronial Feast a bit more than it already is. These are going to be experimental ideas and we can adapt what works and nix what dosn't after trying them. Over the next few months we are going to try to get banners representing the lands colors to hang from the rafters during feast. We will be getting colored tablecloths to represent the lands and will set up a couple of tables for each land. We may also get colored candle holders to match the land color as well. Each land is encouraged to try the following as they can manage. Bring a centerpiece for thier tables representing thier land, such as a statue or an object of appropriate subject matter or color. Bring an additional dish or two, or additional drinks, for thier vassals, to supplement the feast. The three things I ask about the additional dish or two. 1) Please do not plan on using the main kitchen near feast time, as it is filled with people getting the feast prepared and getting the servers ready. Plan on a cold dish, or plan for other arrangements to heat your dish up. 2) Don't go too over the top, that all eyes are then on your table in yearning desire. 3) Be willing to share with other tables, if there is anything left over after your vassals have all had thier fill.

We will be watching the set up and implementation of this very closely over the next few months to ensure that non-vassaled individuals have ample seating, and to also make sure that we are in fact breeding an environment of even more festivity, and not something negative instead. We'll try to iron out bumps as we come across them and after a few months will re-evulate wether things are working as we would like them to or not.

As a side note, we will NOT be cutting back on the amount of food prepared for feast, we will still maintain the same quantity of food we always have if not more.
