Land System post January 2016 was created by Gunnar Gunnarson (jhines0042)
First I would like to thank everyone for your participation in the "War" land system setup we for the last few weeks. It was a heck of a lot of work but I think in the end it was fun for almost everyone.
For the turn that happens between the January and February event only there is an abbreviated Land System, much like after the Xualla wars. So, without further ado, the changes that are taking place now. Please note, this is for one turn only. After February things will go mostly back to how they were before the Nulls attacked.
1) Businesses -- everyone who has a business is assumed to be re-opening their business, propping up the walls that might have been damaged etc. So there will be no business actions available this turn (no gold earned from businesses) but you are all assumed to be taking a kind of "Re-Opening" action for FREE. Please do not email us to tell us your special circumstances for your business.
2) There are only three actions available right now. They are:
-- Public Order
-- Refugee Management
-- Rebuilding
Public Order is keeping the peace as thousands of displaced citizens make their way home again. Some might not have a home, so there are a lot of people in refugee status which leads us to...
Refugee Management. Every settlement (except Mordavia, which is really really gone) now has an open Refugee Camp that will operate until enough housing can be repaired to let people move home. Refugee Camps are better than being homeless, but not by much. The Refugee Management actions will offset some of these harsh conditions faced while the homes are rebuilt....
Rebuilding -- many buildings were damaged but can be repaired. Each action taken of the rebuilding variety will materially rebuild these buildings. Some buildings were outright destroyed. They are beyond repair and will have to be rebuilt by the Lord at a later time.
I will post a full list of the damages in a few days time as in game knowledge, but it will take a few days to get a full accounting of the damages.
Here is the list of destroyed buildings, they are easy to see:
*Basic Housing as listed above is roughly enough housing for 300 citizens
*Tenement Housing as listed above is roughly enough housing for 450 poorer citizens
** neither are meant to imply that all housing was destroyed -- just a big section of housing.
The land turn is now open. Cassie will post the closing time soon.
