This message is serving as a reminder that one needs to look at the weather forecast before an event to gauge what you may be needing for gear to stay warm and or dry.
AT THIS TIME....
The weather is forecast to be the following:
a high of 49 and a low of 31 with periods of Rain on Friday the 9th.
a high of 44 and a low of 29 with mostly sunny skies on Saturday the 10.
a high of 47 for Sunday the 11th.
I STRONGLY recommend bringing lots of extra socks, some extra clothes over the norm and proper foot attire. If you have a spare set of boots, bring em. If you think you have enough socks, add another pair or two to the pile. A buddy may need a set because they forgot a pair... and/or you might need to change out one more time than ya though
While the ground is still a bit warm for ice to form, this will not prevent elevated surfaces (platforms, stairs) from getting icy. Bear this in mind as we move about the night time hours of event.
Wet and cold is one of the perfect* ways of catching a chill and setting oneself up to be sick or worse. Be smart, be observant and be safe!!

Big stories mean lots of planning and coordination. With the epic mods at the December event, we had to be very sure of everyone’s safety. It couldn't have been done without John Tinney and crew. He handled the multiple fires from encounter to encounter just like the pro that he is. We appreciate all that you do and are glad you are around to ensure safety when we “go big”!

"Simply remember, keep a calm mind and foster benevolence. Walk in the light, and let goodness be your shield. Someday, we will all triumph over this chaos and evil and allow peace to flourish, but only if we remain steadfast now. The true test is before us every day."
