Wild Mages was created by Gallion (Gallion)
A new system for envelopes has been in the works for some time now. That system is not ready for this upcoming event, however the envelopes themselves are. Therefore any Wild Mage character who signs in can ask for envelopes and will receive them to use under the old system. However, if you want envelopes for this event you ONLY get TWO max, and they are not ranked.
We also will soon stop referring to them as envelopes becuase the new ones are in fact not in envelopes. We will be referring to them as Wild Surges. The new system should be ready for the second July event.

Your keyboard had a Wild Surge and thought it was a Psion. Hence why it's now crap.

Sorry, no. We don't release stuff like that unless its completely finalized. This is largely because this could cause confusion over what are the actual rules if things change, etc.
the only reason we even went this far is because we know the players of Wild Mages have been getting the shaft for awhile because there have not been envelopes and we wanted to get them something as fast as possible.

If the old rules were a regular cheese pizza, what are the new ones? Thin crust? New toppings on a normal pizza? Deep Dish? Sicilian?

Of course we won't be there the first event to try the old system (I started the month the envelopes disappeared)
But I'd like to thank those working on it for the swift work and can't wait at the end of July to see what you've come up with.

This is probably a stupid question, but it's been on my mind for a while, and I'm curious. What was wrong with the old system?
