Number 1 highlight: Having main mod in the afternoon instead of after feast was actually really, really nice. It meant that post-feast we could relax, sit by the fire, go our separate ways, do bunches of smaller mods, whatever we wanted.

1. According to the general consensus, I am apparently an absolute BEAST with a bow. Who knew? Mock the size all you want: I'll take accuracy over distance any day.

2. Werepigs are real. I hope to someday have the oddest Reign test ever.

3. Getting to know the Vorlorn contingent.

4. Inadvertently saying the most perfect "i'm meant to become a follower of your god" statement ever to a representative of said god. RP ensues.

5. Treason!

6. Playing the boar during my shift Sunday was, for some reason, the most fun I've ever had as an NPC. Shoulda been carrying consumable commodity cards...

"Ok we can attack... but if we miss, we'll hit the villagers."
"I'm willing to take that chance!"

Things I am no longer allowed to do in an RPG :
31. The backup trap handler is not whoever has the most HP at the time.
73. Not allowed to name my cudgel Ceremonial Whoopass Stick.
74. My thief's battle cry is not "Run And Live"

I'd really hate to the bearer of bad news, but this is not at all how any fates work. There is no fate that allows you to instantly use a skill you just learned. All fates must be purchased at sign in, except for the fate of guidance which allows you to learn a skill without a teacher. Said skill is not available until the next event you play. You aren't going to be in trouble for this since the director signed off on it, but in the future please be mindful of the fate rules.

It's not often I write up a list of Highlights, but how much fun this past event was I feel I should write them up!

Friday Night
- Volunteer'd to NPC for Terry and Jeff and played a Fomor for the duration of the first NPC shift.  It was a blast.
- During my NPC shift I was tagged to play a True Warlock for a Module.
- Went to Bed.

Saturday Morning
- Woke up to some amazing RP with the Khitans which began with training exercises and ended in gambling in the inn while using Martial Training as a Loser's Punishment.
- Relaxing and enjoying the AMAZING weather during the day and into the afternoon.
- Market Faire snacks and treats were wonderful.
- Hearing about the Hiberians and the Fomor just in time to join the town on a trip to recover a sword for the Hiberians.
- Returning and then leaving shortly after to aid the Hiberians again in a battle that ended in much political debate about if the Hiberians or the Fomor were the real allies.  These political roleplay moments are what keep LARPing feeling detailed and in-depth and I greatly enjoyed the interaction.

Saturday Afternoon
- Interaction with Turin, Siobhan and the other Hiberians before Feast.  Learning of their past and history with the Fomor.
- Feast outside with the Khitans and friends under a tree was wonderful.  Not crowded and we actually got food served out to us.  MUCH thanks to the Kitchen Crew.
- Relaxing after feast and stumbling into a conversation between Kamen, Cain and a few others.  Being told they were discussing matters that didn’t pertain to me, and after inquiring due to curiosity finding out that these matters actually DID pertain to me.
- Bob Plot… FANTASTIC and one of the most enjoyable and realistic Mods I have been on to date.  I look SO forward to what comes next.
- Khitan Plot… Again very FANTASTIC, it was a wonderful and tense air that resulted in so much drama and questions moving forward.  Thank you to Damien and Emily and all the NPCs who were there to roleplay everything and a Special thanks to Jen W. for our interactions.
- More RP with Shen
- Bed

Sunday
- Woke up late but it was fine.
- Bacon, Sausage and Biscuits.  Great way to start the day.
- MORE RP with Shen.
- Coming across a few wolves on a path and being able to simply RP a little and walk away from them without being attacked.  It’s the small moments like that you can really enjoy.
- Clean Up.

Overall - Thank you to Terry, Jeff and EVERYBODY who had a hand in weekend plot, as well as all the Storytellers and Marshals who put their time and energy into providing yet another A+ Knight Realms weekend.

Posted by Alexander Reins, via Marika.

Friday:
- Lay-on being called, and trying to cheer up a half sobbing-half drunk Seamus.
- Being called by Magnus and meeting a Reign.
- Being called by Reign and meeting a King.
- Fighting off a horde of 'Spirits'.

Saturday:
- Mass held by Kwildar.
- Lowbie-main mod. Two headed troll
   * Troll: Trample!
   * Me: What does that do?
   * Troll: Breaks four limbs.
   * Me: Oh HELL NO! Mass Resist!
- Mid-level main mod. That was such a crazy internal conflict.
- Feast was great! Biscuits and chicken were awesome!
- RP after feast, and confession with Kwildar.
- Hero-Mod was so intense.
- Swinging Posi damage for the first time.
- NPC Shift
   * Poltergeist comedy troupe. Best-worst jokes ever!
   * Best Joke ever: What is a bigger joke than the Church of Valos? Father Edwin's aim!
Sunday: Sleeping in all the way to End-Game

All-in-all... Great event.

*while heading up to feast with Seamus and an exceedingly drunk Bran, a bunny runs across the path*
Bran:  "Oh look a baby bunny! It's so CUTE! I want to punt it!"

Finally getting a non-boffer sword.

NPCing for the Kitan plot, dieing, getting healed, then promptly committing seppuku. thank you monster martial for letting me NPC for that.

Playing an obnoxious, rumor-spreading poltergeist.

getting punted out of a tree as a lizardkin.

during the low level portion of main mod, taking out two enemies and somehow never even getting touched, then being probably the only person who was not effected in any way by the big anti-magic aura from the sword (at least I think it was the sword, I never found out for certain). I know that my lucky streak will come back to bite me in the rear end next time around.

pulling an Inigo Montoya and switching my sword-hand mid-fight on an NPC

people's reactions to the muffin, doughnut, pie bastardization recipe that I made.

Zahir's reaction to everyone after the low-level portion of main mod.

NOT getting my cabin attacked in the middle of the night.

Magnus riding around on a tamed spider.

Unfortunately my first highlight for this event is not able to be shared since it involves an 'adult' word, and is not understandable out of context, but the trip up was enjoyable.

Friday:
+talking to James about a few things before the game started.
+going out to grab pizza with everyone in the group of twelve was fun, and it gave me something to eat later when I needed it.
+Lay on wondering around the inn, and finally going up to the forge to get my armor fixed.  I guarded the forge until it was done, and of coarse after putting the armor on, I left, and a few minutes later they were attacked.
+After the first five attacks at the inn, I felt I was too tired, and went to bed.  yes people, for once, Oren actually Slept...
-and missed witch hunter mod.

Saturday:
+Walking around in the morning since not enough people were in the inn to start bacon.
+going on the hunting mod was great.  It gives me more reason to aim for the ranger list, and started a trend of people saying that any boar or pig should be sent to Oren's Store house for cleaning and bacon making.(Thank you Zach for unknowingly continuing the trend on sunday.)
+BACON SALES!  I no longer even have to bring a plate out, since everyone knows that I am in town means there is bacon, and they order it before I get out of the freezer with the slabs.
+Going on both low and mid level main mod was incredible.  It really gave me pride to be able to get through both, and still have skills left over.  not many, but they were there.
+sitting outside for feast with the rest of you was great, and I enjoyed all the conversation, even the parts that IG I couldn't understand.
+going to NPC shift, and getting to be part of Bob Plot right away.  Bob, I had great fun, and I want to try to be part of that experience again.
- My gold and silver pouches were stolen from the pile of my costuming while I was NPCing, for logistics.  I spent an hour and a half hunting down the right people to talk about that.
+Shameus and Oren getting hooked for Jim Bob Plot.  I can't wait for this to pan out, it was so fun to do.
+Sitting on the porch with a few of the lords when the poltergeists went running and skipping and giggling their heads off past the baron's manner, and the minutes of jokes that came from it after.
+The RP with all the people who feel fed up IG for one reason or another.

Sunday:
+MORE BACON! sell sell sell! go go go!
+talking with the three people that I shared that story of feather with.  You all reacted differently, and I love how it all went.
+the wolf puppies... Bacon and cheese saved the day?
+The sanctioned fight between wolfgar and creed.  and the show of brute force that it turned into.
+the training and sparring that we did down in front of the inn a little way down there.
+getting the most of my situation resolved with the theft, still need the bags back.

I hope you all enjoyed my parts played in your game experiences, and you know it was a good time for me because of all of you.

Thanks to Susan M from Suso for my new costume. It saved me from the pain and kept me warm.

Friday:
-Pre lay-on was interesting.
-Walking into town and getting into the thick of things, and no one said welcome back. Oh well.
-Seeing new warriors and fighters swarm gloom hounds every time one breaks free from the mess.
-One shot crits.
-Vouching for Oot-Garr (Aaron F's Enaxian Cleric) in the Hookah tent to let him in.

Saturday
-Woke up and got Ming and people awake.
-Market Faire and spending coin, only to earn back most after burning two trolls with a torch when they were dead.
-"Hey Church, watch the door." "Hey Church, have a snack." "Ya need a break, Church?" Sorry Chuck.
-Buying consumables when no one else was.
-Shotputting stones with celts. Comforting Toravisu after seeing what should not be seen.
-RP with Jimbob. GREAT TIME!!!

To all on my monster marshal shift, I am a hard ass when it comes to logistics. To ensure the game goes smooth and everyone has fun, someone has to be the stick in the mud to make everything run properly for that time frame.

Sunday
-Limb Harvesters, and trying to not attack my own kind with violence. Thank goodness for command goblinoid and knowing who's calling shots. Also having a lot of body helps too!
-Bacon. Turkey, Maple, or Plain, I love it all the same.
Dan G "What does 'A&W' stand for?"
Rick "Iunno"
Me - "'Amburgers and Wootbeer'." *Bite into burger. Drink from Rootbeer Float*
Dan G "Of course!"

Great event, wish I didn't miss out on the high-level fighting, since now, ya know, I am one as Odo.

Saturday:
-Kamei <3
-Khitanese gambling, using Martial arts as punishment for losing (still sore >.< )

-NPCing low level mod was the coolest thing ever, especially so early where I could see who I was swinging at! haha.
-..Is it sad that I really want to make my celt now? XD (don't worry i'll wait)
-Feast was AMAZING, Thank you Liz and everyone in the Kitchen :)
-So much roleplay so little time, there was one thing I wanted to do as Kamei and roleplay didn't allow for it this event >.< grr
-Getting to talk to Judge's Celt for a little bit, which was nice ^^
-Smores and tree climbing!!!
-Khitan. Plot. Best thing EVER. Thank you so much to Damien, Emily and all the NPC's, we had so much fun, and it was such a big twist!!! <3
-Going back to my cabin, only to hearing knocks on the door by Baoyu, whom Kamei had a good talk with outside ^_^ It's those nice little roleplay moments that make everything come together.
-Sleepppp

Overall, this event was AMAZING, and I loved it. Thank you all for a great weekend! See you in October!

This was only my third event but honestly, everyone makes me feel right at home. So much good happened that it's really hard to narrow down...

Friday:

- Good RP in the tavern with Alexander, Kelan, Elric, Jun and later Father Haroldson over a rather pressing matter in Seámus's past.
- Being hit with a Waylay and unceremoniously dumped on a bench for being a "drunk idiot with a sword".
- Meeting Luminista and Sergei, ultimately leading to talks about "bride price" of a potential future gypsy wife.
- Having dinner (chicken, smores and truffles) with the Gypsies, Khitans and Peter after we battered open the rusted door of the stove with a log.
- Had a rather lengthy and interesting heart-to-heart conversation with Wolfgar. Always good talking with him.
- Managing to get a couple hours of sleep despite the frigid temperature in the cabin.

Saturday:

- Low level story arc. Elvarin (don't know the player's name) continues to do a good job running that for us.
- I am very pleased with the raging reviews my homemade truffles recieved throughout the weekend.  :)
- Getting to feel like a complete badass (at least for a level 3 warrior) during Lowbie main mod. Which includes but is not limited to being a recipient of Fanfare of Victory from Remi and the continuous magic armor from Raphael.
- NPC shift: Playing one of the kunsai during the Khitan mod. Kind of made me feel like a badass again. Also, the horrible shennanigans and jokes of the poultergeist comedian troupe as we harrassed Travance.
Sunday:

- Good RP again with Elric teaching him the warrior list.
- Despite the slight dehydration, had an awesome time learning Blunt Mastery from Wolfgar, including my spar with Oren.

To all of the wonderful people who made this weekend awesome, thank you so much!  It was a great way to return to KR. I had a lot of fun RPing with several people, including many of the Hiberians, a new bard, Tobar, Zavier and others.  Oryx is becoming a more developed person with each passing moon, and you all contribute to that.  She recieved high compliment right when she needed it, and feast was one of the most interesting to ever be witnessed (as well as delicious) thank you to all of the  people who worked to make this weekend run as smoothly as possibly while making it interactive for every player there. Also? This one time, at undead camp....oh the undead brothel.  See you all in October! <3

As always, good times abounded this event.  Some highlights:

Friday:

-Introducing my new character Sergei, along with his little sister Luminista, and cousin Jasmine, and being welcomed warmly.
-Gypsy dance party
-Dinner.  No rusted door and grate filled with fail will stop hungry Celts, Gypsies, Khitans, and everyone else who stopped by and were fed by me.  Don't worry folks, the three-day marinaded chicken will return next event as well.  Also, thanks be to Utgar (sp?) for bringing the s'mores that provided a delicious ending to the meal.
-Me: "By the volcanic power of fire I cast Human Furnace."
Shannon: "Leeching heat one, leeching heat two..."

Saturday:
-Market faire is always fun.  I like feeding people, and having someone come up and buy half my MacInnes brownies in one fell swoop is a huge compliment as a baker.
-The fingerless gloves I bought from Kleiden.  I don't remember who it was that knitted them, but they are wonderful.  My hands were warm all day, and all night, I recommend them to all.
-Being used as a test subject for Physician training.  Helping out Kamei and getting one of my insanities removes all at once.  Definitely good for Bran.
-Low-level mod.  Formations and shield wall.  I felt badass and awesome fighting alongside Seamus and Wulfgar with Raphael buffing me from behind.  Realizing that I'm a threat in a shield wall when I had my shield broken at least 4 times.
-Cigars and conversations about Galladell with Brax.  One of the more relaxing parts of the event and it only confirmed in Bran's mind that he wants to follow Galladell.
-Sparring and fisticuffs with the Khitans.  I like sparring people with different fighting styles than me, and even though I fight more like a martial artist with my fists than a brawler, it was still good to uphold Celt honor in the ring of combat.
-The RP with the Hibernians, especially Turin (sp?) and Goose's Hibernian.  It was great to interact with them and show Bran's serious side.  Plus impromptu bardic between Goose, Shane and I was fun.

-Being dubbed the "cutest lizardkin ever" and getting adopted by Khitans.  Plus, since I didn't eat at feast, getting food from Gwynedd  was most welcome.

Sunday:
-The return of Sergei, RP'ing with Tobar and everyone else.
-Teaching Kamei to waltz as.
-*Pulls out silver piece from behind a Tellinghast's ear* "You did not wash behind your ears.  Maybe you not wash behind ears more, get drinking money, da?"
-Learning Advanced Literacy from Amizar.  As a student of rhetoric IRL, I was delighted that he was giving me one of the best rundowns of the basic tenants of rhetoric and logic I've heard, even from college professors.

Lowlights:
-Failing my saving throw vs. gravity and tweaking my ankle that I hurt last event.

Another fun event for me, let's see if I can sum it up.

-Getting very frustrated IC with the tactics of the Gloom creatures. More of Winks' personality came out there than I would have liked.
-My goblin snacks once again being a hit at the Drega-brunch...even though I couldn't eat, it was nice hearing that people liked them.
-Low-level main mod and having quite a few people go "damn, you hit REALLY hard"...it's only gonna get better from here.
-In the middle of the fight with the two-headed troll, realizing OOG that I'd do more damage with my normal damage dagger than the electrum one, simply because it's less to say in between strikes, and promptly switching weapons.
-Learning and teaching...Winks is getting a nice little crop of students all his own, which is hilarious when he's not at all high level.
-NPCing Khitan plot Saturday night, was really great to witness.
-Winks finally taking a last name, by creating his own new family in an effort to forget his old one. We'll see how this goes.
-More great RP with the people closest to Winks: Iz'tel, Apollo, and Lethias.

See everyone in a few weeks.

Anonymous:"someone go wake up lethias I think he's sleeping"
Tobar: "I dont think Lethias Sleeps. Lethias just waits."

Fact

"Ok we can attack... but if we miss, we'll hit the villagers."
"I'm willing to take that chance!"

Things I am no longer allowed to do in an RPG :
31. The backup trap handler is not whoever has the most HP at the time.
73. Not allowed to name my cudgel Ceremonial Whoopass Stick.
74. My thief's battle cry is not "Run And Live"

+ the hookah tent, philosophy, its creepy denizens, and its capacity for neologism.
+ the search for Adventure, Excitement, Danger, and Revenge.
+ interactions with Chroniclerites, old and new. Also, RP with new priest of Enax, whose name I can't remember. And Kwildar, who Portia caught in a moment of conscience.
+ On the twenty-third day, it will rain small plums. And the impure shall have their vitreous humor sucked out by rabid, gnawing chipmunks.
+ Betrothal to the inestimable Rudolf, he who supplies the itching powder.

NPCing for Aaron. Wondering why the low levels took so long to figure out I had no idea what I was talking about. Who names a sword Goat?

Bob plot, always fun.

Yeah, referring to Alvarin as "she" was a dead giveaway... and 28?  Since when were there 28?

Other memorable moments:
+Attempting to borrow Wolfgar's helm during main mod (armor's armor!)
+NPCing two emo chicks, one of them undead
+The poltergeists.  Oh man, the poltergeists.
