Highlights
Friday Night
- a lot of battle with the elementals
- getting my shield made. prevented most blows
- getting ready to go to bed in the barracks then seeing 3 or 4 creatures go in and went to get help. nobody would come. thankfully both Drachnar and the Baron came out of the inn. We went to the barracks and did a good job.... so far. 5 to 7 undead came in. there were only 5 or 6 people in the barracks. I got chaotically atlered and had to attack Drachnar and the Baron. *whispers in head, "I'm sorry Baron."* got my mind healed by Ilservian. Baron used a ritual to bring him, me, Drachnar, and Ilservian. Lein was left there sadly.
- so much undead
- not getting to bed till about 5 in the morning
Saturday Morning
- big mages' guild meeting.
- not much happened

NPC Shift
- played some sort of undead boar.
- it was really cold
- played an ice elemntal
- still cold
- then played a goblin with 15 BP
- yep you guessed it... IT WAS COLD!!

Saturday Evening
- feast got delayed but I was occupied by the attacks at the inn.
- feast was good. sadly no soy sauce to go with rice :(
- Raphael, of course, doing good again with his mandolin
- Ethan and Father Morgan doing a dance to Lemon Tree

Saturday Night
- lots of fighting. not much healing
- The best NPC for that mod was Jackie Means. After a while from being hit she would run like she was mad and go in the middle of so many people in the inn.
- Arch devil costume was amazing
- I got tired quickly
- Solomon Darkheart got dominated by the Arch Devil I believe. Nothing could bring him back besides waiting.
- then i had to go.

Lowlights
- the weather

Thursday OOG:  getting to go monkeynutz with a real axe clearing the brush between Mages Guild cabin and the waterfront

Friday Night: Arriving to find out that Wolfgar had made it this moon
Slaughtering hordes of Undead and that damn werewolf
NOT taking a death

<NPC shift> Being part of an assasination squad that spanked the whole guards barracks, Ash rat mod, Downing the Baron as a Lesser Skeleton, Werewolf trap, Being the villager in "Drop the Villager Pong"

Saturday:
Awakening to find that Raphael's locking of the door, saved our butts
basically having 2 main mods... (good delay tactic)
"My" late night mod <THANK U STORYTELLERS, some of the most fun RP ever>
Jerec taking his 1st death... SOOOO worth it.... effin mortal hunter... at least I killed him too
singing with Clyde and Raphael, until the attack ruined our bar songs
Yet another AMAZING main mod

Sunday:
Didn't really do much else after, but pack up and race home for work

Lowlights: The ice skating rink in front of the inn, resulting in a bruised tailbone
Finding a real mouse in my room and not being able to hunt it
The bitter wind

Can't wait until next event

I had so much fun on Saturday.

Market Fair: Selling Chocolate and telling people the cheesecake that was on my table was already sold and they can't have it.

Alister: How much for the whole cheesecake
Me: Um.. What?
Alister: the whole cheesecake, how much is it?
Me: Um... 16?
Alister: SOLD!

*Grasshopper Flavored Chocolate

*Going to Mass and debating if I should pass out chocolate while Charlie, Goose, Jackie and Mahoney were talking about temptation. Then passing it out during the clergy meeting.

The Muffin Man and his Leprechaun Balls.

Utgar giving a speech about interfaith cooperation and a few minutes after the meeting asking us to help with lobotomized people. I followed him and then got attacked. He dragged me off to where ALL the clergy and a few other people where and me getting healed and I called him out on attacking me! He was asked if he was mind controlled and he replied "I was instructed to say I was not mind controlled" After the spell was broken I sent a gust of wind at him. I'm a bad victim.

Being a bit of a snot in the kitchen and yelling at anyone who was standing around to grab a towel and help. It worked. Got 2 people to help and scared off a few slackers.

first thing I wanted to say is thank you to all the people who helped with the kitchen this event. it was a very stressful weekend for me and if it wasn't for all of you I don't think I could have done it.

highlights
* hanging out with the guys after setting up on Thursday. It was good to relax with you guys OOG for once.
* market fair was great. I was glad to see so many people having fun with that game I set up.(thank you Louis for drawing the Kanji)
* seeing the look on Ming Na's face as he opened his fortune cookie that had the mage familiar buff. priceless!
* NPCing as said Familiar and seeing everyone's reactions to it
Magnus: "lore supernatural"
me: "its a spirit of some kind"
Magnus: "dissipate undead"(no effect)"ok its safe"

lowlights
* lots of wind
* lots of ice
* lots of cold
* finding out the double sided fortune cookies I bought were in Spanish (WTF Mitsua!)
* missed out on speaking with the master of earth

all in all it was a great event and I hope everyone had as much fun with it as I did. Happy New Year everyone ;D

May the spirits guide your path

"Please do not taunt the Undead"

No particular highlights, just an absolute A+ weekend, would weekend again. Friday to Sunday, one of finest -- if not the best -- events I've attended. I was a little bummed at first that so many people couldn't make it, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that having fewer people around made fighting a lot more comfortable and a lot more fun. Defending against a siege was a great change of pace.

Edit: A merchant showing up selling electrum weapons about two hours after I had made the decision to obtain some was pretty awesome. Don't know if someone overheard me or I just got lucky, but cheers either way.

Also: I've never seen Charlie laugh that hard. He knows what I'm talking about.

Friday night:
-Finally PC'ing my alt again.
-Climbing the Oryx Tree

Saturday:
-Main mod was amazing.  Back an forth ping pong trying to protect people, followed by a crazy idea to pray to a Saint.
-Ironically, being killed by a PC after a long talk about religion.  I rarely enjoy PVP, but the Roleplay involved made the death worth it.  I was able to retrieve everything I had on me, so all I lost was a life tag.  Kudos to the player that did it.  Thank you for making PVP fun.
-Clergy talks through out the day with many different people.

Sunday
-Playing an Avatar of Malyc and having too much fun with Curse of the Doomed.

Raxas - "You'reneeded at the guard Barracks to help Angelica" thus starting on the first of my 5 trips to the monatsery for the same purpose.

Exorcism of Agatha from Angelica.  Great RP with all concerned.
Judge ready with a ritual to helpkeep things safe.
Doug knocking on the door with the skeleton's head.
Judge's final exclamation as Agatha was drivien out.

Spirit Realm vs Soul Harvesters.  Solomon - I'll take the big one - Edwin you take the other five.

Inn's siege:  I was given a simple command - "Make certain no one gets in through this door."

Really not liking people who have no business being in a fight being in the fight, then having to lose ground to repeatedly drag their fallen bodies to safety,

Asking many fighters the same question "What is your most powerfuyl weapon" and only having Moira and one other supply me with the correct answer, which does much to explain my above comment.

Maybe making some progress on really long term research projects.

Nice OOG chat with Aaron F.

OOG enjoyed working with Jerec and others to clear the brush off the slope in front of the Mages Cabin
Now the Hydra won't have any trouble getting lunch

Ded Dawg is an oddity  He enjoys quiet RP very much with small groups,  like Amizar teaching two of us how to add with an Abacus.  Then a small moment on Sunday trying to figure out the differences between a Kaitan compass and an Old World compass.

Has some bi play with Ming Na on Sat afternoon

Got some much needed weapon training on Sun

Got a couple of buffs for defense from some kind gentleman
After all I am one of those who doesn't have much body and has to get dragged out of the fight .. Really enjoyed all the battles in and around the Inn

I always like to work in and around the Kitchen and Bar. I apologize if I aggravated anyone

Sat night I told a young Lady that she could not hide her spear under a table behind the bar,  She said "Nobody ever told me that before to which I replied "But I can protect it for a fee"

Got home at 6 AM this morning

Friday:
-Reanimating Lethias.

NPC:
-RPing the Greater Ghost. The final outcome was to have a freak out, but it was amusing that it was stated I attacked first when it was Brogan who wielded his faith against me first :P

-The most 'adorable' ash rat

Saturday:
-The 'Island of Dr. Moreau' side plot. Was great RP (and the reason I thought Jake/Elezar was missing originally)

-Barovians! (sp?) Ilana was super excited by yet another culture emerging from the vast 'unknown'.

-Little Khitan dragon spirit bowing to Lord/Lady Abendroth. Hilarious reactions from them.

-Finding out Elezar was a 'death knight' IG by him throwing a slay dagger at me. Then running between him/Andy's NPC till I found Antrim to deal with the problem.

-Rescuing Douglas from a death 10 seconds before it happened (he had a timer)

-Following Shalok and the angel around super timid before the fight just in awe. Getting to give the angel a stoneskin = super happy Ilana.

-Dissecting Orlis and learning a few interesting things about him and Agatha in the process.

Sunday:
-Hearing Douglas killed an ettercap that was a druid guardian and kind of regretting I saved him  ::)

-Hanging out with Cecil. Learning there's a queen and king of Markovia that isn't Agatha/Orlis. Fun times. Learning a bunch of other stuff too.

-Bouncing between snagging food from Lucien to beating up Markovians/Avatars. Collecting tabbards (wee!)

Fantastic event !!!  Lots to see, Lots to do!

Highlights:

Rather then be stuck in boring meetings it was more like " Hey Barron by the way we made X amount of gold" as I walked briskly by during the Inn attack.

Having people come up to me ... " The Barron said you are a guy who can get things"
Ming - " Indeed things happen to fall into place from time to time around me"

Shaking down Count Winterdark for money, for Travance Power of Flimflam for the win.

Simon & Raygin hanging time

DRAGON SPIRIT !!! for the WIN  was a great RP

Lowlights:
Getting robed
The cold wind

Highlights...
1. My time spent seeing friends and simply saying hi.
2. My time spent being with friends as we RP'ed, joked, talked, and fought together.
3. Eating Goose's rice bowls.
4. Simon's hotdogs on Sunday.
5. Homestead... nuff said.
6. Finally getting to use Nail effectively.
7. Training under Lethias for the groundwork of becoming a true dungeon delver.
8. Being smart and not going out as part of a small, ineffectual group trying to save people and forcing others to come save me.

Lowlights...
1. The cold.
2. The ice.
3. Having to go OOG for most of Saturday to log-in remotely for work.
4. As an NPC, witnessing some things that made me very sad about how some people play.
5. Not having a shield.  I am too much a "sword-and-board" fighter.

Thursday Night:
+ Coming in and finding a bed early

+ Hanging out with Raf (Miso), Luis (Quan Liu), Adam (Jerec), Dan (Ming Na), and Justice (Zero)

Friday Night:
+ Going out with Zero, Douglas, and Octavius (sp?) to find satchels from fallen messengers.

+ Seeing Agatha, the time I who at time, I didn’t know had possessed Angelica, and speaking with her, finding out why she was in Travance.

+ Finding the rest of the town, and then having the defecation hit the oscillation. Death Knights, Death Assassins, Death Champions, Lich… I pooped myself…

+ Magnus threatening to kill me.

+ Being attacked and killed by a horde of lesser undead, and an undead troll, in the barracks… almost had to go through the focus.

+ Confronting Magnus about threatening to kill me.

+ Walking away from him, to sit in the inn, only to hear he AND Lethias been turned into undead. I’ve never ran out of the inn faster.

+ Finding the broken body of Magnus being fixed by Dr.Maxwell and sitting in on the reanimation.

+ Crying real tears for the first time, and using ‘Willpower’ to keep from having a nervous breakdown, after seeing Magnus come back to life, and want to go back out and fight, even if his lower half didn’t work.

+ The emotional talk with Magnus to have him see he was in no condition to fight, to having to carry him to break up a fight between two PCs in the inn.

+ Speaking with Magnus on the back porch of the inn, seeing what was going to happen with our student-master relationship.

+ Seeing Lethias and agreeing that we needed to work together more.

+ Talks of past Witch Hunter traditions with Lethias and Seamus at three in the morning.

+Going out and slaying my first werewolf, and helping Seamus.

That’s all I can really all I can remember at this point.

Always a pleasure,
Felix Suarez

-Friday Night was very scary and very awesome.
-Fighting along Soloman and many others in the spirit realm.
-Using my scroll of Turn Undead and Jake's slight surprise.
-Running after almost all the people were being slaughtered and after getting like 40ft away, hearing Harvest your soul. then stopping asking is that perfect aimed...yes... and throwing myself in the snow. It was awesome
-Friday night fighting true warlock from my bed and not being hurt cause my fist and bed served as the best defense I could hope for.
-Saturday NPC Bedouin Merchant defending us from assailants who thought we would be an easy mark, only to realize the merchant was more then willing to use the trinkets he was selling.
-Billliamm's "date"...so good. He is a man made of many surprises. Haiku, Sushi, gifts, talks about life, who could ask for anything more
-Billliamm saving khitans through his pure heart and altruistic nature.
-Helping a group of less seasoned adventurers with some undead
-Damien's Khitan npc , stealing meat off wolfgar's plate it was so kung fu master of him.
-Quan Liu and Billliamm's confrontation. Niether one backing down.
-I had so much fun during main mod.
-Fighting Alex Turqman's npc was cinematic and made me feel heroic.
-Getting surrounded with Ardentfyre. Both of us looking at our oncoming onslaught and Billliamm grabbing ardentfyre and wind walking. so good.
-Getting dropped to very low body and the rp of trying to fight and stand on my own 2 feet was fun.
-Healer's yelling at billliamm for getting hurt to much and his response was I didnt want to be here everyone else ordered me to. Then pushing his way out of the healers and Angelica fixing him.
-Billliamm's 10 bottle victory celebration. And SOUP.
-all the talks till the wee hours of the morning around the soup pot and bottles were so good.
-SPOON
-Brik arguing passionately about goblin rights was sweet rp.
-Sunday saving Maidlaigh McSweeney McKraegar from the Morkavians.
-Using relocate to fight a demon and his servant while people were trying to get up the stairs.
-All in all this event was very awesome. I had a blast. I wish to thank all the people who worked very hard to make this event awesome.

Biggest highlight of this event? Being back after a whole year! And getting to LARP as Mallaidh for the first time in a year and a half! Woot!

Other highlights:

Friday: Getting misty-eyed at the possibility of cousin Hamish's untimely demise... But he made it back so all was well.

Saturday afternoon: Getting [censored]-faced (x3 alchemical alcohol will tear you up!), going on drunken rants, and slipping and falling on the ice while supported by the very sober (and very amused) Colin and Rose.

Feast: Three words: Devil's Dance Floor.

Main Mod: Fighting in the inn, instead of on the ice.

Saturday night: Sleeping by the fire. Mmmmm. And SPOON.

Sunday: Telling the Khitanese to be proud of their funny sticks and birdtraps hanging from the ceiling. Then finishing up a fight with some staff-seeking baddies and immediately being served a delicious porkroll and cheese sandwich by Hamish afterwards.

Lowlights:

Main Mod: Screaming the McSweeney fighting motto and charging into battle only to be cut down in two swings. Oh well.

Ice. Combat boots. Bad combo.

It was a great event and I can't wait to come back. I'll be visiting my dad in Arizona over the March mod, but in April, it's on!

Addendum: I almost forgot... "Doctor, amputate the trous!"

~Staring down the nasties on the other side through a Divine Sanctuary while Angelica talked to the evil priest.
Saturday:
~After Mass, being lured away to an attack by a Dominated Utgard and pal.  Thanks a lot, hun!
~After the pre-feast Inn assault, drinking Sun's rejuvenating knock-you-on-your-rear booze.  "Ilana, you're pretty!"
~Playing during feast, always a blast!
~Mae informing me that I'd be in charge of healing till she got back from paperwork at midnight, then finding Marika was indeed in town.  Also, helping to keep the triage together.  We healers/physicians did good!!
Sunday:
~Brought my first person back through the Focus.  Jarec, don't let it happen again......

OH MY B-GOD!

Where in hell do I start everyone mentioned just about everything, reminded me of the days when I first started coming to these events, nobody sleeps you just kind of nap before the next fight.

At first I thought, Oh no another Matt White player killer weekend, and then there was cake and chocolate!

You just never appreciate the amount of work that goes on in the background while your getting the stuffing pounded out of you.... GOOD JOB

researching was great fun, watching Alister bounce out of his seat and then flip out when he touched the amulet... hey Alister want some taint?

Quan Liu: This stupid taint
anonymus: It's your own fault
QL: I was trying to be noble, for you!
anonymous: sucks to be you
QL: yeah it does...

Great RP, nice theme with feast, new KR tradition mayyyybeee???

Speaking of awsome RP how about Agatha, wow that was fantastic, I was all kinds frightend by that lil darlin'

Almost passing out when I finally saw what's in-stored for QL

Supper with the geezers was awesome as hell, and we didn't even get into a bar fight, thank you gentlemens...

Just to many highlights can't wait to see what's in store  for us in March...

Most of all What I loved most of my weekend was catching up with friends, making new ones and sharing special moments by the fire...

I don't usually post these but after 7 months away I had such a blast I can't not.  In no particular order...

-Getting an armed escort back to the mage's guild only to find some people bleeding from the ears/nose claiming that "doctah need help" and thinking "I can reason with these people".  Then being promptly quickbound and dragged off to meet the good doctor who really only wanted to dominate the hell out of me.

-Being dominated to go out and kill people by above mentioned doctor and eventually ending back at the monastery, only to be one shotted before even getting past the threshold.

-Using Fanfare of Victory for the first time, even if it was against my fellow Travancians.

-"convincing" the villagers hunting wildmages that all the "demonbloods" had gone north to New Gallderon and resolving that whole encounter without bloodshed.

-Feast entertainment was top notch, and having so many people trying to help Sage use chopsticks pre-feast was an amusing time.

-sampling all the different booze at market faire.  I love being a Satyr!

-Guided Satyr wine hallucinations.

Good RP and company were at a high this past weekend and I can't wait to see everyone again come April!

Where to start?
Friday: mistakenly believe Raphael had gone off with Agatha, going out hunting for him and instead stumbling upon Elazar being turned into a death champion. Ended with me Laying bleeding on the middle path for 10 minutes, wolfgardt(sp?) finding me by accident and rushing me back to the inn for healing (shouting don't you die on me the whole way)

Saturday: feast was delicious
Also, I wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who got up and danced or clapped along or sang along. You really made us feel great up there. Plans are underway for our next month's performances. We've set the bar high and plan to keep raising it.

Sunday (lowlight) got sick and slep through whole day :(

Warmest Regards,

Clyde MacIntosh Arkanian
