2012 Ball Highlights!

Wow the ball was amazing. This was my first ball and I can't wait for next year.
I never thought that hours of role playing would be so tiring but I have never been more tired after an event. The role playing was awesome.

-Pre-ball-
getting everyone from purchase crew there in a reduced number of cars.
arriving and getting my clothes from Morseca
getting dressed and taking pictures

-Ball-
meeting and getting to know the new players in the hallway before the walk
the walk, being so nervous about tripping Tris or myself
all of the food!
Sitting at a table with Kaladonia eating
Debating if it was Wormwood or not because he didnt have red on his face
Getting up and saying hi to "Mr. Wormwood"- Alex the once over you gave me was priceless
Song contest- wow
Dancing- so much fun
RP with Tris- You have been a sport this whole time and thank you for being such a good person to throw RP curve balls at you have truly twisted the way this character has gone.

Anyhoo...
My first Ball was started as quite a whirl before and warm yet hearty banter for everyone.

Yhatzi invasion...we were missing a few on the road but fun to get into some randomness.

Last minute Escort as a favor to Nadia (sp?), wonderful gypsy woman on my arm and laughed at the hilarity of formal announcements...now with annotated notes!
Jen, you were fabulous all night. I don't think the night would have been complete without the hat making its way around the room.
Yeti's Fury attained...ooo, so cold. Matching Gypsy wits versus silly merchant...with some help!
"I will give you all of the gems...(a ton of gems of all values hit the table)" I hope you enjoy that purchase
Inappropriate introductions to the Princess leading to me introducing my brethren to said Princess.
I had to try is my only addition to the line above.
Asking a gypsy for money is like asking for trouble yet some still did. lol
Dancing was wonderful...I have not been involved with that style in awhile. I was glad to know I still remembered
Meeting the new Baroness with praise and eyebrow raise from Fogrom. I guess I can never get away with sly comments in front of a Barbarian.

Oh wow, I'm surprised I haven't posted yet!!

Pre-ball:
-Dustin and I showing up early to our hotel room. WE HAD A BALCONY, and the comfiest beds ever for a motel
-Getting around in that dress...what a fiasco, I felt like such a prima-donna~ Thank you for putting up with me, Dus

BALL~
-Getting to be able to play Luminista in a dress I never thought I'd wear again! With ALL of the jingles.
-So much amazing food! Thank you all for bringing dishes! Mmmm, turkey and ham.
-Watching the singing contest~ You all did great.
-HOOKAH!
-Giant dragon interruption! Haha! Apparently a screaming barbarian makes it go away
-Yathzi land! So many fantastic stories and roleplaying! How I missed you all!!!!
-Story competition! Steve, that was very amusing, I want story time every time I come to visit!
-Hot cider, om nom nom

Overall, it was a great ball, and I'm glad I made it this year! Hopefully I will make it to the next one...gotta start looking around now for a costume, sshhh! It's a surprise
