I want to start with my biggest highlight, and I have so many. The caliber of roleplay from the entire community was stellar. I was impressed by you all. Well done, the open ended role play options left to the players was a great idea, I hope the STs enjoyed watching as much as I did playing with it, as I went all in!
Were-Spiders, or arachnothopy as some are calling this type, all need to die. FOREST hates spiders, but these damn things...Argyle wants them extinct, exterminated, purged, removed from ALL timelines, we are talking death on a whole new level. I didn't see that coming, next time, I won't let my guard down.
While we slipped up, I will own it. I learned a great deal about the newer hunters, and I think we have a plan to grow. I can't wait to see where we all go from here. The looks on players faces as that mod went further and further down the SPIDER hole. I love how it was put together, the delivery was flawless. It actually made me want to be a better role player, it showed me flaws I didn't know that I had, but it also motivated me to grow from them. The PCs and NPCs on that mod, thank you. You all made it worth it, I had the challenge of a life time, but the story of one too. I hope everyone loved it, I know I did.
Chris Zipeto, clocking me in the face...it IS a highlight. I'm working on my OOG issues, I am proud of myself, and that is priceless. Plus Chris can say he smacked my face as I stepped into(totes should have blocked) with his long, hard, latex shaft, and NO ONE can take that from you, no one. Great job, loved the combat Role Play. I really wanted the new witch hunters to experience some of the great things and moments of the class that I've had for themselves. Watching that mod, fighting, and humbly admit losing, sparked some serious shit in me.
Drew Benton, thanks brother, you're always there when I fall, that means more than you know to me.
Corvius can finally say the he knows Argyle is proud of him.
Wulfgar and Argyle have had some great victories and heartbreaking losses, but they are brothers in arms.
Homunculus stuff. Matt your work is inspiring as always.
Having the BEST Role Play reason to not be at Main Mod, to help in the kitchen. Renee Grace is a Saint people, a Saint. To the new witch hunters, that must have been a pain, but know that I would do anything for y'all. You all are one of the major reasons I stay out there ALL night, you make it worth it 1,000 Times over. Watching you all grow, and continue to has been one of the most rewarding things I have done with my life. THANK YOU
Trent buff bombing main mod, that was so cool.
Judge and Padma, thanks for tolerating me.
Garret Fuller not knowing how happy he made Argyle, yup I worded that right.
Luis and all the guidance in and out of game, I'm thick headed, but I'll get there.
Wili is hilarious, I died laughing you're a nut Kelley, but a damn entertaining one.
Robert and Hailey, I owe you both, and know that I will make it up to you. That was a mess, but your understanding was greatly appreciated.
Lord Rudolph, getting me to not only spend gold, but even tip him. The smile on Reyna and Hannah's face was worth 10 times that much. Best 120 gold Argyle has spent.
Actual role play with Lois Maxwell, I want more.
Reginald is Argyles newest bestie.
I love the Tanwyns. IG, OOG, both, it's true.
Torq is still a prick. The archery lessons with Dorwick, Zel, and the others was a blast.
Labar, not failing to deliver on what his character is. I can't wait to see where that goes.
The new bar tenders are great.
The elemental mosh pit!!!
Making Logistics Marshals blink is my new favorite past time. I am so getting y'all at least a gift basket for the holidays.
Evil Princess is BEST princess. Tori, Tim, and Christine. I'm having a blast, but too many people time I am a darker PC than I really am.
Tari, really getting to understand the, "Bond," Argyle shares with her. He would die for her, but it is for a purpose.

This whole weekend was entertaining! It was the most fun I had in a while!
In no particular order:
-"But What about Magical constructs" is the theme of Friday. Followed by Saturday morning where Dominic was the best guinea pig
-Undead snowman, and by that I mean an undead that was ordered to cover itself in snow. He was a good friend.
-Learning Blood Magic in order to do a ritual. "Learn" is a strong word since Leliana got to experience another's life in order try and perform a ritual to bring the Crone back to the town in order to get our memories back.
-Mage's Guild meeting. Watching Orophin and the Litch have a undead control fight. Also trying to get him to be nice, but to no avail.
- Making bad decisions after the nuclear option. The irreparable feeling of being violated because of it. Leliana had realized blood magic took the memories and the fact that it felt like it came in and sifted through pulling out what it pleased made her so angry. She hates the idea that something could have removed her control over herself.
- Mantel's salt is so salty that I have never been under so much shade and salt as I had before then.
-Telling, Falia not to let silly people ruin magic for her.
-Discussing Necrophitus with Aliester
-Family shenanigans as well as Swyft when she had forgotten things.
-Everybody haven forgotten most things and just casual blood magic in the middle of the room. Lots of side eye.
-More side eye when Cennius came around. Some fun times with our motley crew of mages and no healers, but everything ended up okay!
-Children!!! I can't wait!!!
So excited for so much in the future!!!!!!!

Event started out with my MM training with Zipeto which was a lot of fun. Learned a lot, helped send out some encounters. Look forward to more training at the alt event.
WERESPIDERS. So zipeto and I came up with the idea for this mod a few days before the event and I'm so glad it came together well, even with the Amazon prime snafu. I hope everyone enjoyed it. You guys did amazing rp and kept up with some crazy arachnids.
Came into game about 4am Saturday, immediately beset by people asking me if I know about Belegchand and why did I have his shield. Great rp with everyone who was still awake at that time
"They're taking our memories"
"Maybe it's better to forget? Maybe we're happier without them" (little did Cara know how right she was)
Sleep for a few hours and wake up for squire duty. Finally! Legitimately my 6th month as a squire and the first one I've actually had my knight at for more than just a few hours getting to participate in the ritual in the AG. That moment of "do I write what I'm about to write? Do I risk everyone knowing? But do I risk losing it?"
Coast haven ritual to the ma'khet!!! Thank you so much to justin for letting me take the lead in the coast haven bit and drew for marshaling it. My first time coming up with a ritual on the fly by myself and it was amazing!
In the middle of a golem attack and suddenly everyone is trying to call me over to talk to Serevar who is looking for my knight, who has just left for the day, thinking he's causing the problems. Whoops. Realize that Serevar is vis'raki without being told just because of the things Barak has told her.... and immediately get hit by a major memory loss, which wipes out s major defining childhood event. While I'm holding Belegchand's heroic shield. Double whoops. Guess Cara is now a super confident outgoing strongly heroic character. Immediately turns to the vis'raki and tells him she will make whatever sacrifice it takes for her to be able to learn or do what she needs to with blood magic to save the town, even if she can only do it temporarily. Which actually worked.
BLOOD MAGIC INTENSIFIES
Hearing the mother is out and running first 100 paces ahead of the rest of the army to charge. Stupid shield ;p
Alisia: "give me one good reason I shouldn't take at least one more memory from you for charging the field and being the first to see the mother?"
Me: "because I just imbued pure blood magic into my paper in the adventurers guild and sealed it with my blood?"
Alisia: "you're good!"
The big pull. Aka Cara loses every bad memory she's ever had and only remembers the good ones she wrote down in the AG. Suddenly you get full on good guy Cara who is happy and optimistic and full of hope. But who is also afraid as everyone else around her is breaking down about what happens to her when they succeed.
Telling starling and annora about her family and how she hopes they're safe, even if she can't remember where they are.
Blood ritual in the middle of the inn. No big.
Seeing aleister get expelled from his own lair in main mod. Trying not to oog laugh at him pawing at the door trying to get in.
The crash of memories back. Collapsing and hysterical sobbing in a snow bank, sobbing irl tears. (Yay crying on demand). Seeing aleister struggling and pulling herself out of her hysterics because helping him was more important, offering herself as an anchor point.
YOYO TIME!!! BOUNCY BOUNCY BOUNCY. HOPE YOU LIKED YOUR PRESENTS!!
Seriously, thank you to everyone to rped with yoyo. I was worried it was going to be a combat only thing but you guys were amazing.
Coming back in as Cara for a few hours to have some lessons about blood magic from Barak.
God number 3 in God bingo! Though the other two were more in passing. I don't know what I expected but I didn't expect Chronicler to be a book. But now it just makes perfect sense and I don't know why I ever thought they'd be anything else.
I rped with so many people this weekend I can't even make a list, so in general- thank you all. You're amazing

• Most perfect and perfectly timed (and completely unplanned) RP moment in 4 years at KR: “Leir, do you know who I am? Do you know what Pendarvin is? Do you know what you did to Leandra and Rayven?” “HOLD – your memories all come back.” “Leir, do you know who I am? Do you know what Pendarvin is? Do you know what you did to Leandra and Rayven?” If I never play this game again, I will always know we absolutely killed that RP moment.
• Lelianna: Calls them “silly people.” Means “Malyc.”
• Fairy time with Taylor and Geoff. And snowmen.
• Telling Katie to grow some t*tties
• YoYo and the bleed moment of the event. By the Inn, Oren and Annora warn Faila and Nostarion that if they hear creepy laughing in the woods, don’t investigate – there is some odd clown homunculi wandering about. Faila and Nostarion walk to Pendarvin to go to sleep and are not at all concerned, as in many years they have never had a problem in that short walk. They are almost to the Statehouse when they hear creepy laughing and see a skipping someone coming up from the crossroads. We run like heck into the Pendarvin statehouse, slam the door (waking Charlie/Edwin in the process) and dissolve into a gale of nervous giggles and laughter. Alex and I both refuse to look out the window because we don’t want some scary face popping up or peering back in at us. The three of us can’t stop laughing and it was just serious OOG fun. Creepy clown critter shenanigans continue – including a rather large gift from YoYo. Best episode of bleed ever – Crystal definitely took over for Faila (I would like to think Faila is braver than that). The best part of the entire thing is that until I read the highlights I didn’t know who the NPC was – and I think that unknown made it more fun.
• The moment when Oren explains in a weapon mastery lesson why expert disarm is so important.
• Discussions with Thalia, Cyndra, Argyle, Gideon, Penelope, Clytie, Nalick, Ib, Fyodor.
• Horse tranquilizer.
• As an NPC, explaining to Fenri that a vet why a vet is better suited to treating elves than Kormyrians.
• Camp Sac with snow, full moon, and no wind. Much better than Camp Sac with snow, no moon, and a lot of wind.

Alisia, I had no idea this was your first time ST'ing, you and the rest of the staff did an amazing job keeping things flowing this event.
Having a memory noticed was very sneaky. I only wrote mine down because I thought it was a meme going around and just something the KR folks were doing. I had no idea it actually had to do with the event. I'm sometimes clueless OOC too. But it made me smile knowing that the staff is watching us....always.
First off, excellent theme for the event. As someone who DM's a lot of tabletops, I can't help but think from that perspective when it comes to having hooks and plot and stimulating encounters. Being able to create a central plot framework and then trust your players to act it out is a bold move, and it speaks volumes when you release the control you have as a storyteller. There are many people who can learn from that example you set, by letting players guide scenarios, you can get very organic, very immersive role-play out of them. And this was definitely an RP-central event.
That's not to say this is ALWAYS the best idea, but damn, you all played the card and executed it perfectly. The role-play I saw this event was through the ceiling, and that means immersion was at a perfect equilibrium by causing people to look inwards and really think about their characters, their history, where they've come from, what all of it means. It's powerful stuff.
-So in order. Npcing was tons of fun on Friday night. My fear was the cold was going to keep us from really having fun with it, and I initially dreaded being hit by cold latex/boffer weaponry. These fears quickly subsided once we got in game. a nice 30 minute outing as Ice Elementals turned into a fun 45 minute melee.
The best part of that, was being able to bury myself in snow, and come crawling out of it at someone, causing them to scream in terror and run, right before I fell on my face in an undignified manner not very becoming of an ice elemental in its natural habitat.
-Playing a pack of goblins and trying to use a formation. The RP we had amongst each other was a ton of fun before the PC's arrived. and while our little group didn't last long it was nice to be able to test out a particular ability combo I've been curious about and seeing it in action.
The best part of that, was being able to utilize the combo and down Aleister. I'm sure people understand this, but it's possible to discourage NPCs by nullifying ALL of the abilities we get sent out with. Its not fun when we get utterly roflstomped and it makes us wonder why we even bother when the fight is so obviously one sided. NPC's may exist to provide the heroes a reasonable challenge, but it's no fun for us if we can't get a good hit in every once in awhile. We don't need to win by any means, but at least let us have fun while we lose.
Aleister was immediately healed up, and in my moment of glory I was cut down, but I didn't care, I don't need to take tags to have fun. It was fun to actually have one of my abilities work (even if you could've blocked it).
-Grim murdering an entire pack of us as Undead by himself. We fell like sheaves of wheat, to the left and right, to the point where he had a hard time walking because of all the bodies. And then one spiteful undead throwing a snowball at him, his look of confusion, followed by the immediate Slay that resulted in her untimely potato sack drop of a death. Undead Snow Angel, Grim is super dangerous right before bed on Friday, nuff said.
-Werespiders. Getting to go toe-to-toe with the witch hunters on a fun little mod that actually allowed us to go one-on-one with each of them at different points without getting blanket-beat. Stalking them through the woods, making sure every-time Tracking was called to respond from a different position. Getting to harpoon Angeliana, yanking her to me and discovering she can actually beat the snot out of someone before skittering off into the thicket. Mistake.
Sneaking up on Jed right as another Tracking was called, only to echo my callout right as I'm about to strike him, he turns, the bewildered look on his face over his shoulder as I start wailing on him, his RPD and recoil were so awesome! Right before he started mopping the floor with me and my body points started vanishing like hot donuts at a Krispy Kreme. Mistake.
When players Role play their damage and attacks, it makes combat much more immersive than the normal number crunching game it is.
The best parts of having what stats I had, were that they definitely favored my ideal playstyle, Hit-and-Run. The people who built those cards did a good job, while the number of abilities I forgot 3/4ths of, the ones I did remember were balanced and fun without being too overwhelming for the PCs. Being able to engage for a few hot seconds and then bolting off to regenerate made the few NPC's on that mod a creepy threat, but appropriately gauged without combat being too one sided and crowding ever being an issue.
-Waking up saturday after nearly freezing to death in the Barn. I vastly underestimated the lack of heat in that building and should've definitely brought more blankets. I Willowed up and went IG.
Funny enough, I don't remember a lot of what happened during the day specifically! I didn't end up in any combat other than main mod, and staying INC was easy because everyone else was focusing so much on the effects of their waning memories.
-Bar Mass was definitely fun. Willow always tries to attend masses when he can because it's fascinating hearing the different clergy talk about their faiths. I'd love to attend a Dark Clergy mass too, but they're harder to find. Hearing the story of Galmachis and Gaia, as well as hearing about Valos and the Ascension Wars was deeply moving. The thing I liked was how of course Dave's cookies are amazing, but also how it was a Q&A format. Willow is an inquisitive little thing, so I asked a lot of questions about the gods, and I got a lot of answers. Seeing the subtle roleplay between Aldric and Damien was also fun, as they were politely sharing their pulpit for specific questions, and whenever one knew the other had a better answer, they'd pass the proverbial baton so-to-speak. This made the conflict that erupted later all the more potent as in retrospect, it spoke volumes of how far the different creeds and religions have come in the terms of acceptance and tolerance.
-Thalia teaching Willow how to write down his memories he wanted to keep without really understanding how to write or draw. This was probably Willow's first real encounter with frustration as he thought it was unfair how he had to write when before he's always had people write letters for him. It was tough to RP but it was totally worth it. Little did I know this would cause something far more dramatic to happen when the final memory pull hit.
-Being baptised to Valos.
-Improv Fusion Dance with Bill Black, not rehearsed ever, but somehow perfect.
-Forgetting how to speak common resulted in some of the most hardcore charades I've ever played and forced people to communicate with Willow in very fun and interesting ways. Psions mentally speaking my thoughts, Aella being able to use Willow's body language and more instinctual dryad communication methods to convey his thoughts and feelings, as well as convey other people's words to him.
In that moment it was fun to see the difference between a Dryad who has grown and adjusted well within a humanoid society over the years while still retaining memory of what they used to be like, versus one who is still quite "green" when it comes to understanding people who needs a guiding hand in some cases. Very organic RP if I may say so myself.
-The cute RP between Blue Kestrel and Willow. Willow had never introduced himself to her even before the memory loss, but once the final one hit, it was like he was meeting this person for the first time, like he'd never seen her before. The lack of speech on Willow's part and Kestrel's kind interaction made it a fun moment, which sparked a lot of internal IC introspection as later on Willow remembered a neighbor to his grove who was also a beautiful Nyad whom Kestrel reminded him of.
-Feralish Annora giving Willow a glare, him backing off because wild instincts say he shouldn't keep eye contact with an alpha. Then Annora giving him a worm as a gift, now friends again!
-The outbreak of chaos that hit when the final memory wipe happened. It broke people down to some of their most base characteristics. No polish, no decorum in some cases, and it made evil people into nice people, and nice people into scary religious zealots. It was glorious to see a different side of these PCs that normally due to their current status or associations would be impossible to realistically interact with.
Bob was a pretty nice guy actually! And Caldor apparently really likes to procreate!
-The Bards using music as a method to not forget people and continuing to play those songs so they don't forget. It was a somber but hopeful concerto of musicmakers sticking together, even when their very memories were being plucked away piece by piece. The jam session was improvised and natural, and I couldn't help but stand there and listen to it. We need more Bards more often! Super immersive for me when people play music INC.
-The combat was a complete clustercluck. But I would rather it be inside than outside where people could slip and break their faces.
On that same note, I loved the use of Seal of Vengeance. I never knew what that ability was or what it did until it happened. But being able to give the NPCs a break from being thumped on by a bunch of yelling people was nice. It's hard to produce enough npcs sometimes to keep combat from being a blender of calls and screaming, but I liked how it had the ability to isolate one person, give them a moment and the npc a moment to really square off and have a little fun.
In the future, I'd really like to see more abilities/scenarios happening that allow individuals or even small groups of individuals to square off in a more even-keeled combat scenario and even have that ability swap with other combatants throughout the mod. This gives individual people or groups of people a chance to shine in what normally is a mosh pit of a melee that feels pointless when the NPC honestly can't keep track of all the abilities hitting them. When you don't feel like your abilities are doing anything, you're either gonna cause a hold, or you're gonna feel useless since the NPC is not able to Roleplay damage from 20-30 sources all at the same time, otherwise we'd see just one person standing there convulsing the entire mod from all the damage and effects and that's not fair to the NPC either.
Trust me, if I get hit by a sever limb or whatever, I wanna know, but don't be upset if I can't hear your tag called through the chorus of battle that is our combat system. That's why having isolated combat is more fun.
-The memories being returned to us in an overwhelming way was incredible. The way people violently reverted back to their former selves, while still having memory of what they had done over the past few days, I expect that to have lasting consequences and inspire a LOT of role-play down the road. People who forgot loved ones who were lost, and embraced a state of unknowing bliss thinking they were still alive, then the crushing reality of the truth coming back. Characters who in the present were "evil" who forgot what made them that way, and then being reminded of who they once were. *Squees* This is the stuff stories are made of and it makes me wish I could read every single one of your tales from cover to cover!
-Lots of roleplay following that, adding what I learned to what I knew, caused Willow to grow quite a bit (laugh track plays).
Going forward I am solidified in what I want to do with Willow and where his stories are leading him for now. I finally feel like I have a true direction and that's an amazing feeling when you finally feel like you're not part of the audience or supporting cast, but you feel like you have a story worth telling.
I'm really tired, and sorry for the book, but I needed to get all that out!
Gnight Travance!

- About twenty-some-odd hours of babysitting Belegchand's progressive amnesia. Consistently amazing roleplay, including some real gut punches (okay, I did not know Starling would be so emotionally impacted by someone else not being able to do a Light spell, but there it was; I did know she'd be impacted by hearing someone use a different name for her in a really unexpected context and that was GREAT). Seriously. I could go on and on. To everyone who got involved here, and especially to Matt for really going hard on memory loss: spectacular.
- But I will add, Rachael's brilliant 4am "If Found, Return to Starling" sign was the cherry on top.
- Roleplay between dinner and main mod: Wow. Even though I was really exhausted by that point and sorely tempted to just take a nap in the Inn, staying semi-conscious to talk to memory-wiped Travance was so worth it. Cara managed to crush my heart into tiny pieces by being hopeful and happy (ow), and Starling got to ask quite a few people if they had any idea why she and so many of her crew had two names.
- The transfer of Maelstrom: a lot of hugging, a lot of cold and a lot of shouting. Thalia was absolutely brilliant, and I am ridiculously excited for what comes next!
- "Okay, I get it, homunculus are real after all, but a homunculus that's also an insane clown? No, that's just a step too far, that has to be fake. Let's go prove that this is just an imaginary clown." Followed shortly by: "... okay, it's not imaginary, mistake, mistake, MISTAKE." Late night field trips with Amalthea and Utgard (aka, what happens when you play major NPCs for the plot that's happening in the Inn and don't want to be involved as your PC, you should go looking for the murder clown instead).
- Do a ritual. Have a god in the shape of a book appear. Get transported into a book? And that's not even the weirdest thing. Thanks, Matt and Drew, that was completely unexpected and completely great.
- Winged Victory's small contingent this month. Few birds, many feelings.
I think this may end up being a common theme, but this event gave Starling some shoves in the right direction, some new and interesting questions to try and answer, and a heck of a lot of introspective character development. I am ridiculously excited about what comes after this!

That said, blood, sweat, and tears is often more literal than figurative. There are things you don't see that go into creating your weekend roller coaster. The coffee. The lack of sleep. The hearts skipping a beat. Fingers frantically tapping away on a keyboard and a never-ending worry that the end result, what comes after the lay-on call, won't be absolutely amazing. You feel the palpable tension in the run-up to the event and the moments between the mods and feel a greater sense of appreciation for the real-life magic behind the scenes.
Alisia, thank you for letting me take part in your first story--and for being right there when I needed to clarify things. So often. Poor Starling with her head on a table in the Inn waiting for the Prophet's mind to not be so cloudy. Thank you Michaela for trying to clarify certain bits of information while in-character (no small feat!) and Drew for offering super-simplified explanations when the Prophet's own were lost in translation.
Thank you (again), Lauren F. for helping with the homunculi make-up, as well as Hayley V. and Mars for trying so hard to draw black markings under my eyes only to have me ruin it with my tears.
Covering my ginger hair with black mehron and giving me eyebrows to rival Groucho Marx, Rachael may have accomplished the impossible. In all my time spent as Kassim, not one person came up to me and asked, "Hey, are you Nalick right now?"
An early St. Astrid's Day miracle.
Jokes while she was painting. "Jeff, I think you might have a soul now." Also the the facial markings that stayed on through the night while I slept.
Throughout the weekend, you guys took full advantage of the memory loss and the look on Drew and Alisia's faces when you asked how far you could crank it up, was absolutely great. That people were coming to blows at Feast because they forgot their better angels.
Larry sending me out as a possessed commoner and telling me to ham it up. Proceeding to be the biggest demonic ham I can be, occasionally glancing over to Larry beaming and giggling before Annora drops me.
The meeting to discuss Homunculus City and the terms, with the Baronial Council. Interesting scene. Brutus and Bartholomew getting up at just the right time to go to the bar while the rest of us stayed behind. I love the OOG chemistry the Brothers have and the quiet chatter between Vallius/Dustin and me.
Aleister in said meeting. I don't think I've had the chance to see him in action like that in a long time. Props, Steve.
The general atmosphere in Logistics on Friday night and jokes flying out of my mouth. Sweeney rolling in with full Reginald garb and everyone on the room losing whatever was left of their collective sanity.
At the end, the Crone disappearing into the blood and running full-speed out of the Inn. The only thing Edmund and Hurgar saw, was a guy with markings on his face running for the exit. I'm about to reach the barn when Drew calls a hold to narrate the Prophet dropping into the ground.
Hurgar calls, "Intercede!"
"I dive in!" shouts Edmund.
Drew then narrates a little story that ends in Edmund shrieking like a banshee.
Sunday morning, walking into town just in time for breakfast as Nalick and telling people how he'd forgotten he was a Guard, but the people at the Export/Import company "Closed Cases" (I had no part in coming up with that name, I swear!) didn't seem to mind him continuing to do the work.
Actually getting a chance to RP with Faila, but wow do I need to be careful what I wish for.
Defending a Plant Suggestion that said I was a cat, but pretending to act like a cat anyway and pawing at Thalia.
JASON FELDMAN BEING A MONSTER MARSHAL FROM ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE WORLD, via Skype.
Braving the snow and hail to baptize a former Glommite into the Andorran fold. Cute scenes. Caldor and Danae welcoming her warmly into the Light. Her pet snake being Befriended by Caldor. The woman renaming the snake "Hope" after the baptism took effect--and no lightning striking either of us.
Some light teasing by Swyft, Zelretch, and Tessa. Nalick adjusting his vest accordingly and exiting stage left.
A few personal achievements I'm proud of: actually eating a decent amount of food and in general, feeling more competent in my ability to RP, and also running my first mod!
Nick, Hannah, Jack, Austin, and I'm sorry for forgetting your name, thank you so much again for being part of that. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. Watching (and narrating where I thought necessary) was a hoot and hopefully you'll get to be on the receiving end of the hijinks!
CRAB. PEOPLE.
Justin W. discussing possible mods where two crab people tell horrible puns but are worried people might become too crabby and--SHHHHH! SHHHH! Hilarity.
Clytie bringing my staff over on Sunday morning and telling me I need to be more careful with it; not explaining well enough why it was okay if I didn't bring it with me everywhere I went; telling a pun that would explain it better and her wonderful deadpan threat of shanking me, going into deeper detail of course.

Figuring out what I can forget, and then realizing that none of the people around at that time could be considered major enough to be forgotten. (Sunglasses fall from the sky) DEAL WITH IT! (But nah I love all of ya'll)
Forgetting more and more things lead to me forgetting about the ceremony we did to keep our memories. So at one point I just keep losing more and more and wondering, "what lead of to this one thing, why would I remember this, it doesn't even seem real."
Congratulations Alisia, Drew, you made me forget being a witch hunter. All of it, unfortunately I couldn't roleplay having forgotten long before going to NPC shift but it was amazing.
I also want to thank both Clytie and my amazingly bad luck for having an epic scene at sword point. Then finding Gideon down the road and turning it into a great hostage situation. What they didn't know is that I had forgotten so much I went into existential crisis mode, wondering why I even fight with this town and help them. Every moment debating on whether or not to fight just turn it into PVP. Kinda glad I didn't.

Seriously amazing event, one of my new top favs, alisia and drew are absolutely amazing and I've wondered about this scenario often so it was cool to see how it would actually play out. Also loved the choose your own adventure.
Alisia gift to me....definitely need to figure out how this will effect me in the future.
A certain wendigo jumping me. Causing me to scream for real and having to give me a minute to recover from my heart attack. You are definitely one sneaky basted.
Getting asked to help in a long lesson that I completely forgot about till I was approached, much fun was had.
Danny's unending patience as he rehashed all of the conversations and information again that we've ever talked about.
The amount of people so very upset I didn't know who they were including my family
Finding family I never knew I had and having an atomic bomb dropped on me you know who you are and I am still wondering what the hell I do now.
Back to Evernight with the most unlikely people I'd ever hang out with and ABSOLUTELY rethinking my position on each and every one of them in the best way possible. Can't wait to see what else Steve has planned.
And my absolute highlight forever, standing up for myself and my guild, kicking a lich out of my house and as someone eloquently put it, then kicking him off my lawn. I'm still riding that confidence high today so thank you for that so much Steve.

The unfortuneate character development from the nuclear option. Maybe remembering to not say things he shouldn't was something he should have written down.
Thinking that he could maybe be a hero on Saturday after losing a major memory.
Golem experimentation and the stuff that followed/will maybe follow.
"I'm immortal? That's such a stereotypical alchemist thing."
A friend permanently forgetting their terrible past.
Anything with the homunculi plot will always be a highlight. Kudos on that awesome prop Matt.
Running from YoYo with Heimdal on Saturday and realizing how out of shape I am.
Swyft terrifying Heimdal with a prank on Saturday night was hysterical.
Being a bodyguard for Dustin and Crystal's new player merchants and shit talking witches to everybody.

Friday night: Lots of sitting around, talking with Rowan and others, waiting to go hunt lycans... Then suddenly realizing that all of the witch hunters were gone and I missed my chance. Minutes later being told that there was an alpha lycan on the loose and being the only healer (I think) on that mod. Lots of running around and making sure people didn't die. Luckily there weren't TOO many broken limbs so I had the points available for it. Great job, guys.
Saturday morning: Roleplay as Haz. Helping with some psion stuff. Doing Census work. Going to a baronial officer meeting. Nothing too out of the ordinary, was a good time in general but nothing super notable happened as far as I remember.
NPC Shift: Getting thrown out as various fun mods. Getting a little carried away trying to scare some PCs but it was fun anyway.
Feast and Main Mod: Ergos went from thoroughly enjoying good food and conversation to having his ears ringing, being surrounded by a hundred people all brandishing weapons, thinking that his father was severely injured out in the field at Ergos' home. Looking around, holding back tears, going outside for a few minutes to see that it was nighttime during winter in an unfamiliar land. Going back inside and having various people trying to console him, only to find out (again) that he's a healer after about an hour of roleplay and crying and sulking and trying to figure out how to get home to his injured father. Being terrified during main mod because people were getting hurt around him, praying he wasn't going to get hurt, patching a few people up when they needed it. All-around terrifying for Ergos and tons of fun for me. Shout-out to Rowan, Brun, Peaches, and Jeff Balla's character that I can't remember the name of. You guys saved Ergos.
Post-Main Mod: Great roleplay with great people. Also having fun in the kitchen with Peaches and eating delicious steak. Good times were had.
Sunday morning: Lessons and roleplay for Haz. Not too much else.
All around this event was probably my favorite to date. Thanks so much to everyone that made it so memorable (pun intended). Can't wait to see everyone in March!

- AELLA WAS IN THE PROPER! Bear was incredibly elated that her Sister was finally back.
- Attending Caldor's Gaian mass with her Sister, Angie.
- Having all of the teatime and bonding chats with Maeve, her first Satyr friend.
- Riyan trying to convince Bear to vassal to Oscliffe.
- Heading off with Cinnamon in order to help some foreign people. Bear's first experience going through a portal -- she was NOT amused.
- Bear choosing to help Penelope with diplomacy instead of fighting, which she then had to explain to her friends. "Just because I'm strong doesn't mean that fighting is always where I'm needed."
- Meeting the foreigners on Cinnamon's adventure and being able to find out what they needed and how to help them.
- Going to the Adventurer's Guild with Penelope and drawing her memories. Learning how to use a non-wooden quill. *gasp*
- Running off with Penelope, some other gentleman Bear doesn't remember, and Marcus, BY OURSELVES to rescue a farmer at the behest of his wife. Having to trick the creature who had captured the farmer, and Bear trying to hustle off with the couple to take them to safety. When that failed, Marcus escaping with the treasure and then Bear fighting til she dropped to protect the couple... including 2 ignore pains and battling on two broken legs. Penelope healing her own two broken limbs so she could convince the creature to play rock paper scissors with her to win and set us free before rushing to Bear's rescue.
- Feast with her family! Bear was so happy to have (almost) everyone together. And that pork was insanely delicious. I can't even articulate it. I was SO FULL.
- Main mod. It was my first one not doing paperwork. It was overwhelming but awesome! Looking forward to the next one.
- Althea remembering everything, falling to the ground in complete loss and sorrow as she remembered that her brother was dead. Bear falling to the ground next to her friend, the mage, and hugging her close. She helped her to stand and Althea was just crying and babbling... Bear hugged her and started talking... about how the Althea she knows is brave and confident and strong. How she'd gotten through the death of her brother once and she would do it again and be strong. Stronger than she ever was before. Because you can't know joy if you don't know sorrow, everything is connected. Bear (and I) were in literal tears. Julie, you're amazing.
- Bear trying to comfort Midori after her memories returned.
- Later, watching Althea take her wizarding lesson from Lord Alistair. Bear had many feels about this as well.
- Meeting sensei and learning about his path. The most AMAZING lesson from him as well in front of the stove in the back of the inn. I can't tell you the last time I RP'ed so hard. It felt like hours and was so emotional and exhausting and wonderful. Having Bear's cousin Burk there, followed by her Sister Angie and other friends who came to check on her made it even more special.
- Bear meeting Heimdell at around 3 bells on Sunday morning when she asked if "anyone knows how to fight with their hands." Learning a combat skill from Heimdell in the middle of the Inn, with everyone peanut-gallery-ing, whether to egg her on, shout tips, or whatever else. You all were amazing.
- Heimdell offering to walk Bear back to Kaladonia and their intense, heart to heart chat during which Bear talks to Heimdell about responsibility, the same way she would to any of her Brothers.
- NPC SHIFT ON SUNDAY WITH JASON FELDMAN AS MONSTER MARSHALL.
- White headbanding as a floating basket that got to explode with treasure at the VERY LAST SECOND. Thank you to Belechand, Cara, Annora and Doctor Solvei for making that happen.
- Everyone who played along with the curse NPC mini-mod in the Inn on Sunday. You made NPCing on Sunday so worthwhile and fun.
Other highlights:
- THE STRONGEST PEASANT IN THE WORLD!
- Aella and Bear and Marcus' exchange:
Aella: Bear, you remember that cow? It was wandering in the woods for over a week and had no markings or anything. That one I shot and we ate?
Bear: Oh, yes, the wild cow.
Aella: Yes, the wild cow!
Marcus: *overhears conversation*
Marcus: Wait... by that logic... if a mage is wandering in the woods for over a week and is unclaimed... IS THAT WHERE WILD MAGES COME FROM?!
Bear/Aella: WILD MAGE!
- ALL of the Dirge scenes. Bear loves Dirge.
If I missed anything I am SO SORRY. It was such an overwhelmingly amazing event both for me as a player and for Bear as a character.

-Attended a seminar on Travancian law regarding interrogation practices.
-Maer fixating so hard on the first memory lost that he barely noticed the other bigger things he forgot. He scrambled around trying to figure out what important thing happened that night only to realize that despite the number of people that he cares about and vise versa... he doesn't really talk about his problems. Which in cases like this can be nerve-wracking.
-As soon as he heard about the memory ritual he ran over and wrote down a list of seven people that care about him, and one name to remember not to trust.
-Maer finding his teacher in a state that he knows she wouldn't want to see her in. Immediately going from 'all business' to 'must protect teacher from herself'. Stress ensued.
-Remembering everything. And then remembering that he unceremoniously killed a large number of goblins despite his until-now strictly enforced vow to never kill.
-"I forgot that night because it had to be important. I'm sorry I never told you about it, but when I remember it I promise I'll tell you." That conversation was... rough.
-Tiredly trudging back to the barracks to retire early for the night, only to--
"HI THERE! WANNA PLAY A GAME?"
"...Good evening! You must be... Yoyo, was it?"
Very short beatdown ensued. Got to be a Pendarvin door-stop.
-Getting to add "Mistaken for an imperfect hommunculus" to my list of [increasingly improbable ways I've been saved from the brink of death], right below "Wendigo used [Heal Life] to keep the meat fresh".
--Accidentally ran into Yoyo two more times that night.
"OH HI AGAIN!"
[Athletic Feat], [Woodland Stealth]: "(I acrobatic freaking pirouette into the treeline.)"
"Aww..."
-Witnessing the assault of Lear, the passing on of Maelstrom, and the 'arrest' of Thalia. Having to very quickly defend myself and clarifying that I know there were outlying circumstances and assuring that I just wanted to keep an eye on her.
This whole event was great and there are way too many amazing and interesting things that happened. Furious propellers for Alisia for the incredible event.

Starling wrote: "Okay, I get it, homunculus are real after all, but a homunculus that's also an insane clown? No, that's just a step too far, that has to be fake. Let's go prove that this is just an imaginary clown." Followed shortly by: "... okay, it's not imaginary, mistake, mistake, MISTAKE." Late night field trips with Amalthea and Utgard (aka, what happens when you play major NPCs for the plot that's happening in the Inn and don't want to be involved as your PC, you should go looking for the murder clown instead).
OMG, that was fabulous. So was all the high elf bonding. Alisia, I loved your choose your own adventure plot. I love that one thing we were supposed to do was engage in cultural activities, and that happened to coincide with the planned Quinarian tea party (thanks to Althea).
When people went to the Adventurer's Guild to save their memories, I thoroughly enjoyed watching illiterate townsfolk draw their memories out. It was really a beautiful moment. People made runes, wrote out sheet music...it was a bit magical.
Other highlights include two OOG married couples toasting IG to divorce, sitting down to explain all the ramifications of wielding Maelstrom to Starling JUST as game was called, and totally forgetting my entire card OOG at the dramatically appropriate moment. Also, thanks to Sir Dr. Maxwell and Nigel for the drugs.
Swyft, please always prank Heimdall by creeping up silently behind him and cackling like Yoyo. Egging her on with Annora was absolutely the best.
Nalick wrote: Thank you (again), Lauren F. for helping with the homunculi make-up, as well as Hayley V. and Mars for trying so hard to draw black markings under my eyes only to have me ruin it with my tears.
My pleasure. Thanks to Alice for the makeup!
Willow That Walks wrote: -The Bards using music as a method to not forget people and continuing to play those songs so they don't forget. It was a somber but hopeful concerto of musicmakers sticking together, even when their very memories were being plucked away piece by piece. The jam session was improvised and natural, and I couldn't help but stand there and listen to it. We need more Bards more often! Super immersive for me when people play music INC.
Jamming with Rowan, Trent and Creepy was truly a pleasure and an honor. I'd love to do that again.
There's always more, these are never the complete story. I can't wait for next time. See you all at the alt event!

Much love to Matt as Father/Heimdall/The strongest peasant OH NO THE SECRET IS OUT.
Bonding a bit with Reyna and her brother. They remind him strongly of the heargens, even after their fighting about leaving the clan or not. He's taken a rather fatherly interest in them, particularly since they've been pulled into the thick of the Homonculi shenanigans.
Going full sword master twice on small groups of random NPCs who had decided to interrupt his VERY INTERESTING conversations with Annora, Oren, and Sir Dr Maxwell. No monsters survived, though he was very surprised when one hit him with a snowball.
Realizing how much guardsmen meant to him. Grim may not be the best guard, but he's one of the most noticeable, and he loves and cares for every guardsman and woman in his own way.
Dirge nailing Grim's actual emotional life in a short series of sentences and exposing the bogosity of his gruff and stern front. The layers were peeled back both by the loss of memories and by the closeness of family like Bear.
Every interaction with Bear, even if they were just short blade lessons and long lingering hugs. One of them led to one of the funniest moments I've had in KR. Bob walks over and asks "What would Lilith think." And grim stares him down, and says, "Bear is my sister." Bob arches his back, starts backing away, calls hide in shadows, and then Vanishes on top of it he's so mortified by the faux pas.
The entire series of conversations with Midori about whether or not he's a good man, and what a good man would do. Grim will continue to deny he's a good man, but he honestly is trying ot be a better man.
Every interaction with the guys running the bar were amazing. Who are they OOG I really badly want to be their friends. They're obviously veteran larpers and truly kind individuals.
I had some great but brief interactions with the Kainen sisters, though I missed Van which made me sad.
Everything with lois and Bob, and Grim acting as an interlocutor. The bonds of those friendships were strengthened, even as grim's heart broke.
Tobias Armitage showing up as one of Grim's most important people without even attending the event. The same with Grim talking about people like Wormwood, and even Arthur Goggins.
Feral Keavy.
The duel in the snow with Gilgamesh. I apparently made a better showing than expected, but I wanted more of myself. Grim has taken his measure, now, and I have a plan for next time.
The high five between Aella and Rathnait when grim admitted he forgot how to read.
Caldor and Grim never, EVER forgetting one another.
Reverting to 1213, and being the joyful, brutal mage-slayer, and thinking he was a lowly private of the guard.
Fighting Karen as the mother, and butchering mother at the end while working tag team with the rest of Heargen Clan. It was a true murder make, and grim was a joyful, shouting mess as he got all bloodied, to be saved by Aldric.
Feast was excellent, well done Luis.
Casually playing with Jonas Kane, and telling stories of Kartagus Kane to the bartenders, including the cool bits about Kendrick.
Doing a little "oh crap" as Michaela and her squad of golems rolled into Main mod and started thumping us, then leaping joyfully into the fight.
3 Marauder Melee with tork and Trashfire. NOBODY TOUCHES MY PRECIOUS SERGEANT.
Trashfire being our legit IG name for grim's suboordinate, even better because it's affectionate.
Seeing the brothers again.
Actuallly going "oh Sh-t" as grim when Yoyo dropped from the ceiling with a TA DA. Grim is just not down with the clown. Seeing her other powers, and trying to conceal amusement with Karen as she says, "Grim, be boring!" as boring is the nickname of the PC I play with her in Jason's TT game.
Rping with YoYo more generally, and noticing her reaction when Grim namedropped Lilith.
Protecting his quest to free Lilith before anything else, even while forgetting what Homonculi were. She was just a pretty pale person he needed to help.
Grim falling to the ground as he reverted to his burdened self after main mod, only to be reminded by Caldor that the joyous him, the Grim in his free state running on the ice and snow into battle is the Grim that's best loved, the best version of himself.
Making sure Caldor wasn't hitting on any hussy trees. Telling Midori about the hussy willow.
Playing a game of chicken and bluff with father, as grim lets on he knows a secret of Father's, and that he's keeping a secret from Father.
Almost launching myself over a table in the manor twice, once at the Grand Council meeting, once during the meeting with father to discuss his "Surrender". Gilgamesh asking grim a question more pointed than his sword, even if it had none of the finesse of his attacks, and Grim deflecting it with a truth.
Watching as his relationship with nearly everyone reverted to their earliest interactions. Utterly forgetting a lot of newer players.
Finally forgetting that he hated magic, and volunteering to guard the ritual.
Feeling heartbroken when Annora forgot who he was.
Giving the wrong name to Cara, getting corrected, realizing what she meant to Annora, then leaping into battle with particular ferocity once she was downed at main mod.
Panicking a little as Belegchand started mentally slipping, then being reassured and proud as Starling took up the slack, and took charge.
Oh, and doing more monster marshal training under BB tak, who is the master of tough, sassy love. I love being football coach and sending my mans out to entertain players.

And when it’s you who isn’t and everyone around you is… Some serious major wow moments will be had. Not to mention heartbreaking ones….
As Alisia said…. This was Choose your own Adventure; and yes there were times I wondered my path was the right one. Worth it in the end but there was times…. Which is the point, isn’t it?
Highlights-
Friday Night was something of a blur, with my missing probably every hook into plot… and being released from a WH Patrol because more showed up than expected. However, I was on Phocus Duty if any died… So not many here.
“Duncan the White” – I am very pleased my winter cover-cloak was so well received… it was a chance find and I am very happy to have had it.
A chance meeting with Heimdall and another. And informing him that The Old Sword had figured out who he was a while ago… and my admitting I wasn’t convinced until just then but it now made sense. Something tells me Father/Heimdall, Gil and the Spirits interactions are not over yet…
Saturday Morning to Afternoon-
The Walking Brazen Mass. Manor to The Inn and Angrin’s Altar… and waiting to get jumped by NPC’s so the Flock could demonstrate yet again how well Brazen does War. Of course we didn’t… but you never know, you know?
Chats with various people.
A drunk Trisana
The Bartenders (Bruce- you and Jeff are awesome with this!!)
People asking after Birgitta. “She’s in the City doing Administrative work and taming Bureaucracy… that thing she does so well and yet hates so much.” (guys- Leslie sends her love and hopes to be at the march events...)
Watching the loss of memories take their toll on some people. After the second loss to happen, interaction with various people was shocking and heartbreaking at points.
Especially with Aldric. I think the losses he took were the most disturbing, knowing his complete love/pride of being a Templar of Valos. I can honestly say…. That might have shook the Undamaged Duncan the most.
Finding Gideon and learning he was among the few untouched. And our dual commitment to finding a fix. The two senior Brazenites in Travance were NOT happy….
Feast and Main
Feast Benediction. Guys… I only had half the story going into feast and that was after some quick questions….
The Commentary part of Blessing was 100% on the fly. I feel whomever does Feast Blessing should speak on events and attempt to inspire, steady or *something* useful for everyone… I am generally good at coming up with appropriate but this time… was damn hard. With that in mind, it was Get Up Do Work; Brazen will provide the inspiration.
And I wanna tell you, he did.
The Chaos of end feast. What the actual frell…. Picking up Bodies and setting people right on feet.
The decimation of Blood Spirit Memories… The Chaplain’s heart is breaking on the inside and the anger at whatever responsible grew. Keeping the young ones together and level while my own fury was percolating…. Not an easy thing.
Druid Drake and Celt Templar, nose to nose staredown. No fear… and a wonderful mini-scene.
Post Main
the healing/counselling of various in the room as their memories returned. When some learned I hadn’t lost any, comments of my being lucky were met with “Really? You didn’t have to watch some of the strongest people you know devolve… So who’s really lucky?”
Templar Skill Lesson- Flight on Divine Wings…. The Brazen Wings are a shiny Bronze with deep grey feathers…
Hold the presses- an Argyle actually going to bed before 3am…. On Sunday Morning?
And speaking of the cloak mentioned earlier…. “I thought you were a pile of snow”
Sunday-
Up and moving…. And decisions made to do breakfast at the inn.
A chance meeting with Starling and the gifting of some “usefuls” to her because her crew… gets into more shit than the Spirits do. And that’s something, lemmetellyou.
Speaking of chance meetings…
A long dead Dragoon, because of the power of her love for another and her Dragon Spirit, was able to return…. And the reunion of the two a happy thing.
(To the marshal who told me a while ago I was able to not only see spirits (because of priest) but talk to them, thank you- this scene/character introduction would not have gone the way it needed to without that.)
It was then pack time and cleanup as I was responsible for Manor this month. To those who stay there- thank you for being awesome on the clean up and helping us leave it BETTER than found once again.
Alt Event in a few weeks…. And I may NPC this or work kitchen again. We will see…
Until Then… Do not be afraid to Get Up and Do Work- there is reward to be had in doing so….

I spent quality time getting to know Keola... She convinced Swyft to go to a Light Mass, even! And after, we had fun accidentally stumbling upon super secret Heimdall meeting while just visiting Winterdark for funsies. ...That was a little scary.
Sparring with Sir Ulric! I missed that so much!
Were-Spiders! Snow fights with Zipeto! A+ would snow fight again!
Swyft realizing the amount of ferocious support she has in a pinch. And some in the most unlikely places.
Random fire elemental attack in a room of white head banded drega'folk. Annora showed up right after so I had to bust on her. “WHERE WERE YOU, PALADIN? I ALMOST DIED BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T HERE TO PROTECT ME!”
Discussions about goth clubs with the amazingly fabulous Kevin Sweeney. The “floor slap” still kills me, dude.
Ben... oh my god. Poor Bob. Seeing Bob happy because he forgot the bad things that happened in his life to make him what he was. It was HEART BREAKING. How dare you do that to Swyft! And all of his other friends! And we all had to watch knowing, dreading, the return of the memories and what they would do to him. Because it wasn't enough to go through it the first time, huh?
Way to pull the heart strings, Ben. PHENOMENAL job.
Forgetting about tag skills on golems and hitting one with a slay in a rage. ...Hard mode activated.
Oof. Sorry, guys. :x
A very school-girl conversation with Cy and Leliana about Van... I do hope that hilarity ensues from it!
Nalick's reaction to Tessa and Swyft's teasing. Dat azz.
Good times with my bard buddies and Edwin in the snow.
Getting to meet YoYo and being COMPLETELY fascinated. I hope she makes a return trip. I have some ideas...
Zelretch's face after I told him I had a talk with Yoyo. Priceless.
Pranking Heimdall with a certain cackle for threatening to trip Zelretch so Yoyo would get him instead. And being given permission to do so by two paladins! Lol! I really hoped it would end poorly so Swyft could make them look bad.
Matt, your reaction was just too great. AT LAST I WAS THE ONE DOING THE BULLYING AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! BULLY! BULLY!!! Muahahaha!
The saga of Yay and Wolfgaar--- dude lost ten years. That was rough! A+ Rp guys.
A heated conversation with Aldric... and surprising myself with what I didn't want Swyft to forget.
Everyone was really on their role play A game this time. Alisia ran a great event that got literally everyone involved, whether they wanted to or not. Everyone dealt with it so fantastically that I ran out of role play points!!!!

Teaching Master Warrior Lesson Three.... with a group of New Players as assistants and turning it into a Basic Lesson for them on several things. (if it were allowed, I'd say ya all got a basis for MW part 1.... there is always the future!)
A talk with a Master Assassin....
A discussion on who is who in the Zoo that is the Witch Hunters... and what THEY need to do to fix some shit.
Rane.
Jokes about Keavy forgetting her mate... "Considering some of the crap he's put her through over the last year, that might not be a bad thing..."
(semi-pained laughter ensued- even from Dani. )
Aelia being sweet on Duncan when Caldor wasn't around.... Uh oh.
Counseling a depressed Satyr. (I didn't think a depressed Satyr was possible, to be honest. But it *is* Travance.... )
I know I am forgetting other things... but Its what I got.

A heated conversation with Aldric... and surprising myself with what I didn't want Swyft to forget.
Not heated on my end, more confused. Aldric had lost all memory of Travance by that point and was wondering why this Namierrian was so angry about being offered the blessings of the Light. Then trying to understand what she was talking about before finally gathering himself in his Faith and saying to her, "No. The Light does not work that way. No, Andorra does not do that. No, you misinterpreted something along the way. I will help you see the truth." Confronting her bitterness and delusion again with fresh eyes, came crashing back after the memories were recovered....
Its going to be fun Renee.

I got candy and all it took was exposing the most precious part of Lois' psyche for Alisia to tear out
I really, really hate winter events. The cold makes me miserable. I seriously considered just skipping this - but it was well worth coming. The chance to really crystallize not just *what* is important to Lois, but *why* - and thus, why other things she's been stressing about don't matter - was great.
"Bad Dragon"
"Hello"
Argyle! Holy shit Forest, that was amazing. We've gotta find a way to RP together for longer periods of time. I can't wait to see where that exchange takes the two of them in the future. And Erik - watching Wulfgar deal with the aftermath was *amazing* RP from you. The howling was eerie and I could practically feel the pain.
I can't really pick, like, a specific person whose portrayal of their memory loss was my favorite, because they were all so different and so good. Billliamm probably hit the hardest, because his regression to when the McKraegars & Lois first came to town reminded her of so much that she hadn't thought about in years. The funniest, though, was definitely when Gras was like "What's a moon elf?" and EVERYONE AROUND HIM collectively decided, without communicating, to not tell him anything
Bob's heartbreaking "Why does everyone keep telling me they like seeing me happy? How terrible is my life?" - and Lois' subsequent near-shouting at him all the reasons he actually *is* happy so he wouldn't be so scared. As much as she wanted to stick close to him because she knew and dreaded what would happen when he remembered, she actually felt really special because she realized she gets to see Bob happy and enjoying himself like that all the time.
Rowan's song. Teresa, you wrote that yourself, right? It's amazing and I desperately want to hear it again
Utgard writing down "I remember basic bathroom and hygiene skills"
To Gideon: "These are all important and cover a lot - but maybe you should write down that you love your wife." Geoff stating that this made him realize how much Lois has changed when it comes to empathy.
All the interactions surrounding Father and the Homunculi. FINALLY being able to talk about what she's known for months - thanks for that, Dad
Kevin as Reginald. My god, man! That was a hilarious and wonderful portrayal, and I still can't believe you walked around in February in knee socks!
Balla as Kassim doing the Homer "nope into a bush" with the Inn doorway curtains as Bob starts describing the killopede.
HAH LOIS TOUCHED BELEGCHAND'S EAR! It was so soft and elfy It is her most fervent hope that he will now be incredibly paranoid about what other ridiculous nonsense he allowed to happen while he had amnesia Lois is secretly really mischievous
In the month of forgetting, Lois' past literally walked up to her covered in blood.
Telling the story of the hat, and the subsequent conversation with Jackdaw. And then both Justin & myself separately choosing to forget that and the wendigo attack afterwards, so when they talked to each other they had no idea they'd forgotten anything
ALSO! Being Jason Feldman's hands as he monster marshaled the Sunday shift FROM CHINA over Skype Now that's dedication to the game Thank you to Tim, as well, for allowing that bit of experimentation.
Probably more stuff. Basically THANK YOU ALISIA & DREW & THE WHOLE CREW, this event was great and I am really excited to see how this changes everyone's RP going forward

Most memorable: walking into the inn after the tsunami of memories came back. Everyone is crying. Wili, being a goddamn sociopath, "why is everyone crying? I thought getting your memories back was the whole point?"
Whilst memories were gone, messing with Aldric about the evil sun pendant. Someone said "no one is in charge, there are no rules", so I took that as "I'm in charge! Give me all your gold!". It actually worked on the super Londwyn looking Londwyn. Heh.
I wish I had pickpocket skills. So many of you stuck your butt in my face while I was hiding in the corner after the atomic bomb of memory loss. Sooooo many butts. Thanks for not farting, still sad I can't cut purse.

Reyna's highlights:
Getting to cover my face in blood with the other witch hunters to bait lycanthropes on the full moon.
The mod with James. That was some fantastic role play. Thinking outside the box to try and get what we needed was a lot of fun!
Showing up late to Heimdell's meeting and getting to see him for who he truly is. I don't know how Reyna reacted to that because I was in so much shock.
Reyna really needs to spend more time with Grim. Also, Lois is great.
Hunting the were spiders. Fuck spiders OOG, and this was way worse. But it was Reyna and Corvus's "first witch hunter date," so that made everything better.
Fighting the Wendigo immediately after was great.
Losing Reyna's first memory was terrifying for her.
Belegchand's memory preserving ritual. I never thought Reyna would actively participate in something arcane on that scale, but she was desperate enough to offer to pour some of her own posi into it.
More memory deterioration in forgetting her brother was still alive. And then forgetting Berk was destroyed at all five minutes after she "found him" again.
Having to keep her cool while her closest friends forgot more devastating things and helping someone who had lost everything not part of the ritual cope.
Talking to Clytie after she had forgotten 5 years of memory.
Argyle's memory loss. Reyna: "Do you know who I am?" Argyle: "You're Reyna... Are you my daughter?"
Post main mod remembering. Sitting on the floor in the bar area of the Inn with Corvus and Mileof recovering.
OGRE CON 1217!!!! PRAISE ENAX!!!
The Father revealing himself to the town, and Reyna saying goodnight to him after. His face when she hugged him was unforgettable.
Leah's highlights:
I got to play my alt on Sunday!!!
Duncan pulled Leah through the Phokus after she was dead for just over four years. That roleplay blew me away as he helped her remember herself and come back.
Meeting Darius for the first time since she died. Hiding behind Duncan and him pulling her hood off to reveal her... That could not have been more perfect!
So yeah, this was an amazing event. See you all in March!!
