Help needed - Prosthetics mold was created by Noctra (Noctra)
I’m wondering if anyone in our community can help me, or knows of someone who can.
This is a legitimate request for my job. I’m not doing a school project or anything like that. I’ve done quite a bit of searching and can’t find a company that is willing to do this, so I’m hoping we have some connections to special effects people or someone with experience in making molds.
I work for a foot care company and believe it or not, it is near impossible to get decent casts of feet. I have a few originals that can be used to create a new mold. I’m looking for the finished product to be up to the ankle, include toes(with spaces between them) and be semi-realistic looking
.
Even mannequin manufacturers don’t want to help me, as they don’t want to include individual toes. I can buy realistic rubber feet, but they are too large and almost always include podiatric deformities. They are also very expensive. I want to create a mold, and then cast them as we need them.
If anyone has any info or help to offer, please let me know.

Try medical suppliers that make orthotics

Sounds reasonable doesn't it? Thanks Chris.
WE make orthotics and I have talked to other suppliers as well. Near impossible to get what I'm looking for.
I also want to thank those who have pm'd me so far with FX stuff.

I'll ask at work (I work for a health insurance company. I's suggest actually contacting podiatrists or orthopedic surgeons who make full casts for orthotics. Some have to have individual toes especially for children who have foot deformities in order to treat them.
I'll get back to you.

silicone based rubber can be used to make a negative cast of a foot or a moled of one.. and then used to create a positive duplicate of the origional "foot"
