Hey I'm getting tired of having to check the time on my cell phone when no one in the inn knows the time so I have decided to invest in a pocket watch because it feels so OOG. I have a few questions though first I need to know some good pocket watch makers. I also need to know the websites of some reliable sellers. and also hiw best to keep it physically safe (from smashing and such) while at events.

Also if any one can help me in my search for one with a natureish theme to it (perhaps a tree or an animal on the face or body of it) I would really appreciate it.

my price range is somewhere between 50 and 75 dollars

I ran into this problem awhile ago.  So I went thrift shopping,  for a clock,  a sewing machine,  some cloth, and carbon fiber tubing....  This is what happened:

Not as handy/light/expensive as a pocket watch.  But it looks so cool.  >.<

I've been wondering and looking around for antique-looking items and other props.  Lately I have been finding pawn shops to be really good for some items.

pawn shops and thrift shops are usually good places to look. i would say stay away from yard sales. like James said, usually the engraving places in the mall have some pretty good ones too.

Precious metal exchanges often branch out in some interesting items, pocket watches being one of them.  I am one of the last believers in the three piece suit believing the vest is perfect for a silver chain attached to a pocket watch.
