I am about to come into possession of at least a dozen fiberglass bows. About half are 18-20 pound draw weight and the others are smaller and are about 10-14 pounds draw weight. Most are generously used (they are from a day camp). I would like to sell these at near nothing prices to help offset the cost of kr and gas money. I'm asking $5-$20 depending on size and condition. Obviously the best 20 pound bow will be $20, the worst $5. If you are strapped for cash and have been looking for a bow or just want to have one to mess around with, please take advantage of this opportunity!
Negotiations on price and bulk pricing acceptable if you wanna buy more than one.

You know, I'll take you up on your offer. I'll buy a a bow with a 14 pound draw back (or something along there).

Bear in mind that the smaller bows are just that, small. They will accept a standard 28 inch draw no problem, but they wont have the feel of a big bow. PM me if youd like a crappy one or a better one. The best go to those who ask first.

Andrea totally needs a bow... I'll talk to her. Bringing them to Dexcon with you?

Sure i'll bring a few or all of them to dexcon to offload. I may or may not have some extra strings too. Or even some armguards. Lemme look.

As much as I am going to regret saying this, Logistics might be able to use some for NPCs...

Please check with James as to whether or not James wants any NPC archers. He and I had a small chat about that and he may have expressed displeasure. If I'm wrong its more sp for me hooray!

According to a just completed conversation with James C. Kimball, KR currently has no desire to incorporate NPC archers, thus bows are not needed.

Ok folks the response has been great. I'm gonna take stock of everything I have today (thursday) and post a list of who's ordered what and what condition they are in. I found a box of bow strings today and they are all brand new and still in the package. They are sized for the twenty pound bows. They are worth $6 by themselves.
Also, the smaller bows are plentiful but mostly in poor condition. Those of higher quality will be let go for $10 the lesser will be $5. The ones that are falling apart will be thrown unceremoniously into the garbage. I have shot them before, their actually quite fun.
Bear in mind these are used bows and each one will have its own wear and tear. I will number and describe them here tomorrow, honestly and completely.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to all of you sooner. I have been crazy busy. I have the bows in my possession and I will be laying them out and determining quality soon. I have found that I have fewer Large 20# bows than I thought. And far more small bows than I thought. I will get back soon with details and I will assign names to bows based on when I received pm's and messages here.

Ok! All of the bows have been packaged for sale! Each has been graded on a quality scale. The scale is as follows.
20# Bows
Grade 4 | $25 | Practically brand new no damage, minor cosmetic wear
Grade 3 | $20 | Good quality, More extensive cosmetic damage
Grade 2 | $15 | Major cosmetic damage( handle wear or paint chipping) or some damage to the fiber glass limbs of the bow.
Grade 1 | $10 | Extensive damage to at least one limb. ( Maybe a years worth of shooting before it breaks!)
Smaller 10-14 pound bows( Fire consistently level at 15 feet with low speed larp arrows, definitely for close engagements.)
Grade 2 | $10| Minor cosmetic damage
Grade 1 | $5 | Minor damage to fiberglass (none of them are bad at all)
I have a total of 7 20# bows and 9 10# bows
Here is my list based on when I received you messages both in pm's and on here.
20 Pounders
Grade 4| Michael P, Cy
Grade 3| Charley
Grade 2| Toravisu, Chris Songer x 2
Grade 1| Leslie
10 pounders
Grade 2 | Xenas (didn't get your name.)
Grade 1 | none
PAY ATTENTION HERE
All 20 pound bows come with the minimum of one string, some have 2. All come with 2-3 free arrows dependent upon how many I taped together at that moment.
All 10 pound bows come with three strings (I had a ton of extras) , all come with 3 free arrows.
I will be at dexcon and the July and august kr events with the bows. Please let me know when you will pay for your bow. If I have missed anyone or you would like to be taken off the list please pm me soon.
That is all. Happy shooting!
