Leather Smithy at May Event

Greetings from Indiana.

I was fortunate enough to make the trip to KR back in March with Dave Sullivan (aka Ded Dawg). Talked with a few players who were in need of basic leather armor repairs and noticed some NPC armor that could use a little TLC. I spoke with my son and a friend of ours and we are venturing back to New Jersey for the May event next week.

Just to let you know, we have been working with leather for about 10 years now and make as well as repair many different leather pieces including spaulders, greaves, bracers, brigandines, cuirasses, gauntlets, tassets, cuissets, mantles, helmets, baldrics, sword frogs and other armor. In addition we have made many different styles of pouches, mug hangers, bracelets, circlets, quivers, sheaths, and other accessory items.

We will be setting up the smithy for repairs of armor at a very modest cost. We'll have all the necessary tools and fasteners with us to do just about any repair. Should you need straps replaced on your favorite piece of armor, we'll also have plenty of leather and the necessary dyes to get it as close to your color as possible. We will have quite a few items for sale and will also be able to do custom orders (some we'll be able to complete before the end of the event and others we can ship to you within a couple weeks).

Have a new product but not sure how many we will have made prior to the event. Basically a LARPers canteen made of leather and designed to hold a typical 16 ounce bottle of water. Made with a belt clip or a strap/snap for the belt. Hides the plastic bottle pretty well.

These guys made me a gorgeous leather quiver, quickly, to my specs, happily making any changes and not asking for payment until I was perfectly satisfied.

I need a combo of suspenders and harness

I have seen that pan and believe we can come up with options for a holster. Look forward to the challenge!!!!
