There is a pole arm that I'm looking at that I wish to buy. However it is 75 inches tall. Is that too tall/large for KR? What size do I need to have it be in order to be approved. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a weapon I won't even be able to use.
Thank you,
Kayla

Weapon Sizes
Weapons are broken down in to Size Categories, which determines both the minimum and maximum length the physrep can be, how many hands it takes to wield it, and other factors. The categories are:
Small Weapons
18" or Smaller
One-Handed Weapons
18" – 42"
Bastard Weapons
42" – 48"
Two-Handed Weapons
48" – 60"
Pole Arm
60" – 72"
So, yes, the pole arm you are looking at is technically slightly too big to wield under KR rules.

That being said, exceptions can be made as the extra three inches is not an over exaggeration. However, you should note that any new weapon introduced at KR must be reviewed by a marshal to ensure that it is safe to use.
The best place for you to start is to possibly post a link of the weapon you are considering. That gives us a better idea about what you are considering and we can provide a more educated response. Hope this helps.

NPC of the Month
Corey Acera
NPC of the month goes to Corey Acera! Anyone who saw him as the chaos demon would remember how phenomenal he was. He used multiple accents, swung every kind of damage you could think of, he really immersed himself in the chaotic nature of the character, physically and mentally. He even assumed multiple mind sets at the same time, from the demon, to a cavalier, to a healer, and stayed those mind sets until certain things set him off. In the short time he was there he showed a level of excellence that would be nice to see on a more consistent basis. It would be great to see him at KR more often to show others how "it" is done.
