Interest in a 40K:DH PnP Game? was created by Cameron (Galen)
While I'm not in a position to do so immediately, I was wondering: If I were to start up a game of Dark Heresy, would anyone be interested in playing?
Not much more to the post than that, really, unless anyone has any questions for me.

I've never been a sci-fi game guy (my only caveat is Shadowrun, which is awesomely sci-fi with fantasy elements). I would be willing to try out a Warhammer Fantasy RPG if you ever think about running one. Just an FYI...

The interest is here, but my weekend schedule is somewhat limited.
When you're ready to start, let me know when you'd be running it and I'll be able to give a more solid answer.

SR PnP. I am not a fan of the 360 game as it's more of a FPS with some other elements added in. Also, I just suck at FPS... .

Thread Necromancy!
Anyway, to those interested, the licenses for all Board Games, CCG's, and RPG's based on Games Workshop's Intellectual Properties have been sold to Fantasy Flight Games. This includes the CURRENT iterations of Warhammer Fantasy RP and Dark Heresy, so rest easy, Warhammer RPGs will not end up as d20.
For those who don't know, FFG is the creator of many fantastic board games and RPGs, including the Doom, WoW, and Starcraft boardgames. They have also dabbled in CCGs, CMGs, and have made some solid RPGs (both d20 and unique systems).
There are two downsides to this:
1) Who knows when the next three announced books will be released, since Black Industries also sold all the books to FFG.
2) There is no official FFG presence on their forums, and the BI forums are swiftly disintgrating, and the Black Industires moderators and Staff Posters are getting snarky and bitchy with their fans.
All in all, a good thing (IMO) but we'll have to see how it all pans out.

If worse comes to worst, FFG will be represented with among others, high muckety mucks at Origins this July in Columbus, OH. One can always find out then. If impatient, log onto <<
www.consimworld.com
>> and you should find something for them under Game Company Support. I don't care enough about it to look it up. :) I only play Necromunda from GW.

Funny thing, I actually found about 10 Chessex boxes of 40K minis I haven't touched in 12 some years. Original Mk 6 Marines, Cyboarz & Nobz, and I think some Chaos to boot. And all my original Blood Bowl teams. MattWhite may remember playing against the Rodents Royale at least once before Todd and his Stars - Hermes Godspeed and Crush McSmash - did them in...

Temple to Enax, the Acadamey
We have two winners for this event. Mark B's efforts on the Enaxian temple really got noticed. He kept his space immaculately with a lot of effort on detail. The temple space was kept spartan, but evident as one might expect for a temple to a god of authority and military prowess. The area itself had an immense amount of character. The Academy set up at the pavilion by the maze impressed us. It was evident that time and effort was put into its design and detail. The area was fantastic, set up with lights, bottles and cloth used to create the illusion of a hall dedicated to academic studies.Temple to Enax, the Acadamey
