I can wield it comfortably with one hand or both hands.
I've got a full leather armour suit and costume to go with it but will probably also get an 18' dagger as well.
Not going all out for the moment, as I want to be able to carry this stuff over to the USA (boffer weapons should be fine in customs[ just go ahead and HIT me with that sword])
Other stuff? I will probably have to change my character yet a THIRD time to actually give me a reason to escort Kathryn my Fiancee (we'll be married by the time we visit KR).
