huh... isn't that something, not 5 minutes ago I was thinking that I was in the mood to go to New Hope... and that KR hadn't scratched my itch this month and I was really excited for the ren fairs to start in the area....

Anybody planning on going?

Has anyone been to this faire? Do you have to dress up or can you just go and peruse the venders and attractions? I might want to go and bring my son

Well, Mitch, New Hope is the kind of place where you can dress up in garb on any regular day of the week and only get a couple strange looks. I used to do it all the time... lol

Well, Mitch, New Hope is the kind of place where you can dress up in garb on any regular day of the week and only get a couple strange looks. I used to do it all the time... lol

Anyway, Matt and I are planning on going one day this weekend. We haven't talked about which day yet. We're flexible.

It appears the weather forecast has graduated to cloudy all day. So far, me, Ann, Malcolm, and Jacqui will all be showing up together. Let me know if anyone else wants to meet up at some point during the course of the day. There will be a birthday lunch of sorts going on, so if anyone wants to meet up for lunch, also let me know.

Alright, we got back, it was actually very nice for a free fair. Its a couple of vendors in addition to the normal New Hope crowd, and about 5-10% of the random passerby dressed up in garb. Not bad for a day out.
