Things I am no longer allowed to do in an RPG :

So no one else in the North Jersey/greater NYC metropolitan area has to go through the same horrendous search I did:
Tanis Hardware , located at 479 Belmont (hah!) Ave in Haledon, NJ has 5/8" wall thickness pipe foam on hand as a regular part of their inventory; i.e. no special ordering required.
Apparently (according to the owners), this is due to an abnormaly high number of LARPers in the area, all requesting 5/8" thickness

Tanis Hardware is easily accessible via local roads from Rt's 80 (through Patterson) and 208 (through Fair Lawn).
Also, Paramus Fabric on 17 North (right by the Rt 4 juncture) has mattress (i.e. open cell) foam to be had, at $13 per running foot (12"x 24").
