Knight Realms and its staff take sexual assault allegations very seriously. As an accepting and open community, we are morally bound to investigate these claims to the best of our ability with as much detail and consideration as possible, as well as for the safety and security of its players. Knight Realms is not authorized to enforce the law or determine innocence or guilt under it. Anyone with proof of a law being broken is encouraged to contact law enforcement officials immediately. However, being that Knight Realms is a private organization it is our duty to look into any serious accusations like this one listed below.
An accusation was brought up publicly regarding Justin Whittmore. The general accusation was brought up in the realm of public social media prior to being brought to Knight Realms. The more specific accusation involved a sexual coercion that would have taken place prior to both parties involved joining Knight Realms. As soon as Knight Realms was informed of this, the Deputy Player Representative Joshua Lindover performed a thorough investigation involving multiple witnesses and several interviews of persons involved, over the span of several weeks. After conducting the investigation, it was determined that there is not sufficient evidence correlating the accusations in the current case involving Justin Whittmore. Furthermore, several details discovered during the investigation lean towards a conclusion that highly supports his innocence. Details will be spared from this public post, but those who feel that they need further explanation may contact Joshua Lindover. This conclusion was reached after reviewing the results of the extensive investigation, and the final decision agreed upon by both the Lead Player Representatives, the deputy player rep and the Director.
