Attention Casters!

With Springtide on thre horizon, a couple of druids were summoned to the home of an ancient mentor, Hughe. He gave us information that leads us to believe that the rise in primal energy lately will possibly "explode" maybe it won't for a couple more years. Either way, thr end result changes every time this happens. In an effort to put the least amount of strain on the environment and the creatures that call it home, some of us have decided to "open the dam" on or terms while we are ready, under our means. The result from the release cannot be determined, it could be good, bad or nothing could happen.

I am asking for any caster who would like to volunteer under this potentially dangerous ritual to please either volunteer here or find myself, Ergos, Keavy or Wren and let us know you're willing to help. Right after the town crier makes his announcement Friday eve, we will be meeting at the inn to perform the Rite of Springtide. No doubt this will cause a ripple across the weave so any casters are welcome to participate. There is a possibility of harm as we do not know what will happen, but this needs to be done sooner rather than later. So please weigh your decision carefully and let us know if you will be willing to help with this ancient Rite.

The energies most effected will be primal starlight and possibly chaos so we're in extreme need of wielders of those magicks but as I said previously, there will likely be ripples across the weave as a whole so all are welcome to assist. I will be preparing for the rite until Friday eve so feel free to contact me at any point.

Not doing this ritual could cause unknown strain on the environment if Nature is not fully prepared for it. Those who are connected to Arawyn know that it is only a matter of time until the "flood gates force themselves open". It is better for all involved to do it now, rather than it explode and potentially cause more harm.

Unfortunately I won't be arriving until around midnight. I wish you and your group luck in this endeavor and hope to see the fruits of your labor as I arrive in the Proper.

As stated Zanthios, it's effects are unknown. Our mentor has experienced several Springtide and what happens is different every time. And as Caelvan said, it's not a matter of doing it or not doing it. The Springtide will happen no matter what. It's either we "set it off early" while we are ready or wait for it to "explode" on its own when we are not prepared. These are the risks we take to keep the land we live on and the things that inhabit it safe. We choose to continue our practice because we know what the risks and still feel we can do good in this world even in those risks. We're not asking anyone to endanger themselves. If they volunteer to take that risk, that is entirely their decision and I show no ill will to anyone who wishes not to.

At this point, Zanthios, there is no time. It's going to be done. The risks have been assessed and this is the determined outcome. So either help or don't. You don't need to be part of this if you don't wish to. But whether you like it or not, it's happening.

This type of ritual has been done many times before. There is danger in any ritual, and as I said before, to do nothing will be even worse than any backlash from this.

There is no research to be done. I've spoken to an ancient being that has lived through multiple Springtide. Our options are, set it off early and be prepared for the outcome, or let it go on its own and be unprepared which will likely cause more problems. Springtide changes every time it happens so any information that could be found would simply be a retelling of what someone experienced and holds no importance to what we're doing here. This Rite is happening in 2 days, I do not require anyone to be there, this is strictly voluntary. I ask that if you are not participating, that you do not hinder us in the ritual because interfering with rituals can actually obliterate people. And that is all I will say on the matter. This posting was not a place for discussion on our options. Because there are but 2 and we've decided that the safer of the two methods is what we are going with.

Primal starlight is what we're working with here. Obviously for that matter I need druids. I specifically also invited chaos wielders because chaos and primal energy are almost opposites. So with a massive influx of one, the other will likely rebound, that's why I specifically said those two. But I do not know what will actually happen, it could cause the weave as a whole to rebound. That's why I want every caster I can get to be there. So if you're not a hexer or druid, that's fine. Any one willing to volunteer for this is welcome.

Just please remember, because we don't know what will happen there is potential for injury or even loss of life. So please make sure that you keep that in mind going into this.

I'm afraid I will miss the chance to assist you in such a fascinating ritual.
However, I will make sure to keep eyes opened this coming Friday Night in case something happens wherever I am.

Ser Nesterin has spoken rallying the casters but I would like to take the time to address anyone interested.

Rituals, and especially this one, are heavily influenced by will and intent. Therefore, anyone who wants to join in the Springtide rite is welcome to join, even if you are not a wielder of any metaphysical energies.

This realm belongs to all of us, we should all have a hand in ushering in new change. If you would like to join us by lending your voice to the chorus and your will to the workings than by all means, gather with us and join in.

Zanthios. A knight is asking for assistance with something they clearly know the merits and dangers of. Please keep your subjective and misinformed opinions to yourself. You're not helping now, you've not prior, and at this rate I'm starting to doubt if you ever will. Please either be constructive, or leave the matter alone.
