Awards for April, 2005
Rictor Ranthor
PC of the month goes to Ralph M. as Rictor Ranthor. He's always IG, he serves like a true squire, he acts in every regard like a true cavalier, and he role-plays things that are not good for his character (like being hexed) like a champ. His attitude towards the character as a player is one that everyone should be encouraged to emulate. Runner up goes to Joel Y. as his new barbarian shaman Budorf! His RP of using his abilities in a shamanistic way were absolutely nothing short of astounding!
Leanna Longo
NPC of the month goes to Leanna Longo as the Romani Queen! She managed to role-play the ridiculousness of her attraction for Yorgi while maintaining the basic humanity of the character so that in the end, everyone still respected that character and found her to be charming. A lesser performance would have turned that character into a joke. She was simply awesome in every way reprising that role!
Ralph A.
Player of the month goes to Ralph A. (who plays Sleafus)! He planned a hugely elaborate wedding, in addition to all the great inter-PC atmosphere he already creates every event. And then, when plot made a disaster of his carefully planned wedding, he just took it as a chance to RP his ass off. How many people do we know would have sat in a corner and sulked when no one played his carnival games because of plot? Not Ralph; he turned it into a 15 minute rant about Yorgi, entirely IG. We give awards to people for a great effort all the time, but how about when that effort is basically wasted, and the person just shifts gears and continues to make the event better? Great job Ralph!
The Crown Royale
Cabin of the month goes to the Crown Royale! It was decorated very well for a large building and was sporting a very cool sign. The establishment as a whole was very cool and they did a lot to make that area of the camp popular and cause people to actually want to come down to the trade district on a somewhat regular basis. Keep it up please! Runner up goes to Darson Vett's Cabin. Its decorations were unparalleled! Honorable Mentions go out to Lilliana and Evangaline's Cabin as well as Feltree's Cabin! Both looked great!
