Awards for April, 2015
Jen Fiore as Croínamara
Often we see characters get heavily invested in a weekend story and tend to become a major player in how the events unfold. It is less often that a character has such a direct impact in the weekend and story. This month, Croínamara took a chance and summoned a hero of legend to help face off against a looming danger. She did everything in her power to help and keep everyone informed and go above and beyond what we normally see come out of her. To say we were impressed with how she ran with the story would be an understatement. Jen, please don't ever stop raising the bar!
Matt Majchrzak as Eribus, The Knightmare
Villains come and villains go. The bad guy introduces himself and gets beaten, but Eribus is here to stay. Matt spent the entirety of Friday night until sunrise terrorizing the PCs and making them terrified. Eribus was created as the demon of fear, and Matt brought that fear to life in all of us. The impact this villain had left will surely stick with us for a long time!
Tori Turqman
Every weekend, one of the storytellers takes the time and dedicates an enormous amount of time to making a story for the players to enjoy. Each time there is also someone who steps up when they can be playing instead to give up their event to help those running the event. This month we would like to recognize Tori Turqman for giving up her whole weekend to both NPC a terrifying shadow monster to marshalling for Steve. It's always great to see players step up and help in such a great capacity!
Jed's Shack
Statehouses and mod sites and other major areas of the game are always dressed their best to impress, but this month we're taking the time to visit the rickity shack up on the hill. Its the place we all want to see, but never want to be caught going to; The Church of Glomm, Jed's Shack. This place, even from the walk up the hill, is decorated with objects that send chills up the spine. Everything about the place including the music creates an atmosphere of uneasiness and evil. Judge's dedication to this small building is inspiring and impressive. Congratulations!
