Awards for February, 2013
Keith Seddon as Valhalla VanZandt
Val “drew the short straw” for the plot in February, but he embraced his condition and rolled with the punches. There are many situations he was part of and his RP of the aftermath of the ritual was awesome. When the demon was born, Val was screaming in pain as the thing ripped itself free of his face. Keith ran with his predicament and was responsible for the enjoyment of many, not just his own, and for this we thank you!
Keith Seddon as The Spriggan
Everything about the detail Keith put into his role made this character memorable. From the way he spoke to the way he moved, his actions conveyed that of a huge, jolly tree-creature. His performance made one feel regret at having to fight him. Great job (again) Keith!
Steve Oros and Joe Bondi
Player of the month is a tie for February!
Steve Oros was a big help to James this month. For the whole week prior to the event Steve was at the camp, working with James to get it ready for the weekend. From cleaning and building, to creating props, his help was, without a doubt, a huge reason this event ran so smoothly. He even had time to worry about the atmosphere in his state room for his vassals. Thanks Steve, we appreciate your hard work!
Joe Bondi was given only a few days notice to prepare for the filming by All3Media. Joe spent every waking moment communicating with James and producers through emails, texts, and conference calls, trying to make this filming project work to get our players noticed. Not an easy task, especially without interrupting game flow. Thank you for this and your continued efforts to put Knight Realms on the map!
Pendarvin Statehouse
This Statehouse is still a work in progress but the efforts are quite impressive. The sleeping area is separated from the “work area” which consisted of a sorcerer’s laboratory, complete with nicely made shelves, which were fully decorated. This did not take away from the fact that there were realistic-looking shelves in the sleeping area as well. Keep up the good work!
Honorable mention goes to Drega'mire, who did a very good job of keeping their OOG stuff out of view when they weren't using it. The desk in the corner also adds a great deal to the atmosphere. If it were another month, they may have won the award, so keep it up guys, we noticed!
