Awards for July, 2013
Matt Calo as Belegchand
It's been a while, but he hasn't lost his touch. When a group went the Abyss to find and rescue him, he really, genuinely seemed to be in great pain. He kept it constant too, reacting any time anyone touched him. He continued to RP with everyone even after being taken back to Travance and acted how one would expect someone suffering from a major trauma to react. Matt’s devotion to KR remains strong, even after being unable to attend for a year. Thank you for such a strong comeback!
Mary Ferro as The Seeker
Mary Ferro did a wonderful job as a half-starved Seeker on a low-level mod. She managed to make the PCs feel legitimately sorry for her, to the point where they helped her with no promise of payment, forfeiting the gold reward they were offered to sell the relic she needed. She made the players really think about their characters by asking them very personal questions about the details of their lives. The mod received a great deal of overwhelmingly positive feedback, and it would not have been possible without Mary. Thank you!
Kevin Downing
Kevin was a major help to Gene with the running of the weekend plot. He did extra NPC shifts and Logistics duties, including keeping players taken care of and organizing logistics during extremely hectic times. Kevin was highly commended by Gene and so gets our praise for July. Great job Kevin!
The Mage's Guild
The Mage's Guild decor was excellent, as always. Though there weren't many people staying in the cabin this month, more props and decorations were brought in which improved the look of the shelf and the fireplace mantle. The table was nicely decorated with added components, bones of vampires, and Guild documents. All OOG items (save for the first aid kit, of course) were under tablecloths and neatly tucked away from sight. Nice job!
