Awards for June, 2009
Rubious
Adam as Rubious. Adam is always a treat to watch whenever he makes an event. Rubious is an accomplished mage with a way of bringing a laugh to any situation. That trait is indicative of Adam the player, but Rubious the character is interesting to role play with one on one or with a group. He always keeps you not knowing what to expect. There was a point on Saturday afternoon when something happened that dug up his past, and he sat at the table in a coma like state for half an hour, and then walked up to the graveyard, broke his wand, and took a nap there for an hour or so. Well done!Queen of the Sylphs
Lisa as the Sylph Queen. Lisa has returned to us after a long absence and impressed us with her ability to convey the plight of the Sylph people, and the struggle of a noble queen who felt that she and her people needed to bow to peasants, and to sacrifice so much for safety. It was well done on the part of the weekend director, using an unfamiliar face to play the representative of the new race.Charna
Charna is always pitching in to help. Doesn’t matter if it’s set up, clean up or if anyone needs help, she is always there to pitch in. Her humble nature means it’s genuine and for that, she gets our vote. Great job Charna!
Andy
Also, Andy filled in the logistics officer position until Volk could get to the event. He did a great job, making sure everything was organized in logistics and at the same time, helped James with sign-in for two or more hours, and briefed all the monster marshals as best as he could. All this while organizing and running two mods Friday night as a storyteller, and carrying out his responsibilities as a rules marshal. Thanks for all of your hard work!
