Awards for May, 2013
Michael C. as Jericho
Although this character is new to Travance and still low-key, Michael is branching out of his comfort zone and so Jericho is being noticed for his actions. During the May event he held his own in an intense theological conversation with a priest of Galmachis and impressed the person playing the NPC. He even threw caution to the wind when he agreed to go for a walk with this dark priest instead of using any OOG thoughts that he may just get killed. Keep up the good work Michael!
Honorable mentions go to Magnus (Matt M.) & Mother Quinn (Emily A.) for making a dynamic change in the viewpoints of scripted NPCs through their talks of humanity & amazing role-play.
Chris K. as Godhand
We usually try to avoid giving this award to NPCs directly related to the weekend plot. Chris Kane’s role was, in fact, supposed to be only a very short one, but PC interaction kept him in-game to play the role for the rest of the night and he did great job weaving his tale and interacting with the players. Thanks for a great time Chris!
Honorable mention goes to Jenny-Lynn, the Mermaid at the lake. Her costume was amazing and she really got PCs involved in the encounter and the weekend’s storyline.
Romeo Villanueva, Robert Biladeau & Phillip Uhlig
Knight Realms puts a lot of effort into molding our modern camp into a fantasy medieval town for each event we sponsor. Doing this takes help from people beyong the staff. Romeo, Robert, and Phillip came to the camp a day early to help James with everything he asked them to do and were a huge help in setting up for the weekend. Thank you for your hard work!
The Dwarven Paths Tent/Workshop
The Dwarven tent set up in the clearing by the inn was a wonderful addition to the game and added a lot to the atmosphere to an area that seldom garners any attention. Characters constantly returned to the spot time after time in order to purchase props and to get themselves even more in the zone with lots of IG interaction. Those guys did a great job of keeping everything IG and making the world feel organic. Well done, and come back soon!
