Awards for November, 2012
JJ as Aemorniel Silverbow
She got very involved in the weekend plot and did a great job RPing. She went all-out collecting the plot information and disseminating it across the town in true Chroniclerite fashion. In addition, she is currently in the process of typing out all of the handwritten plot information the weekend director put in game, which is a great help documenting everything in and out of game. JJ has raised her own personal bar! Great job, thank you!
Sam Dio as the Medusa and Chuck Davie as Valen the Adjudicator
Sam Dio as the Medusa:
Sam did a great makeup job on herself and also her male counterpart. She did an excellent job with the role and memorizing the complicated stats. In true dedicated fashion, Sam elected to leave the Friday Night Witch Hunter mod, which her PC was involved in, to play this NPC role. Nice work Sam!
Chuck as Valen:
Chuck's performance was very impressive. He had little to go on, but presented moral dilemmas to the players. Here was not some random Anti-Paladin deserving of the death the players would bring him, but a Templar of Valos, whose cause happened to be at odds with Travance. Great job!
Players
Due to the storm, many players and marshals were unable to attend so we would like to give this month’s player award to a few, of the many, who stepped up to go above and beyond. Thank you from James and all of the staff for your extra efforts.
Tom H. & Jackie M.
Both gave up most, if not all, of their PC time to cover many NPC roles and rules marshal issues. This was a huge help to the weekend director.
Christine B. and Sean M.
stepped up big time to help with kitchen clean-up, when many of the regular kitchen marshals were unable to attend.
Chris Latano
helped with the new player zone and the clearing of the post-feast tables that the attendees left undone.
JR
had a big hand in running the new player zone this event. He also brought his own chain saw and cleared many storm-downed trees to help out James and Ron.
Mixolydia's Winterdark Tent
Anyone who has seen it recently knows why. A number of cabins were less decorated than usual this month, but Jen creates not a weekend sleeping space, but a welcoming home to be the quintessential hostess in. To this end she always seems to have an impressive spread of food available for passerby, drawing anyone on the nearby paths into Mixolydia's world.
