Awards for October, 2008
Lord Alexus "Lex" DeVirr
Tommy Nichols as Lord Devirr. This event, Lord Devirr shined with the role of a noble in the new template James wants to create for his IG nobles. He inspired many of his vassals to want to represent his lands and fight for the Count. His in-game persona is that of a humble champion. Keep it up Tommy! There were also a few honorable mentions this month: Kate as the corrupt Rosa. Over the last few events we have seen Kate have to take a character that is virginal and pure, and have to slowly torment her own soul as sister Rosa fell from grace. Marcella as Ilana. Her internal battle to keep her calm over the fact that she sometimes is not accepted due to the fact that she's a Wild Mage was quite evident this event. Vince as Sir VonRitter. In the fight with Alock and Pesmerga, he was epic, Lethias with his swift reflexes was saving lives every time celerity was called near him, and the staking of Alock was said to have been “fantastical”. We’d also like to give a special mention to a 1st time player. The new player who's P.C.'s name was Sky. He walked in ready and on the ball, even in his first 5 minutes of play. Thanks for the great job!Alisia R.
Alisia as Annabelle the Banshee. For a character that can't talk, she somehow managed to say all too much. It was creepy to see her dressed up like some psychotic-looking doll: Perfect hair, perfect clothes, and perfect makeup. She was beautiful and horrid at the same time.
Tom T., Brian, Kate, and Alisia
There were so many people that gave so much time and energy to make this a great event. Judge, Sean, and everyone who helped them were amazing. We’d like to point out 4 of them for this month’s award. Tom - the mastermind behind all of the awesome props. He spent lots of his own money and time for weeks before the event. Brian – a huge help setting up all the mod sites with Tom and the rest of the crew. Not to be left out were the women: Alisia and Kate. According to Judge, Sean, and Tom, these two were absolutely the unacknowledged heroes of the weekend. They both spent countless hours not only making all the costuming for the event, but also running errands to pick up things needed from the store, and even coming up at all hours of the night to keep Tom and Sean company as they built props. Their help was amazing, and they helped Sean stay sane when things kept piling up.
Trade Hall
Once again, Chris has wowed us with his decorating. It was most appropriately done for the theme of the event and the month! He turned it up with a minivan full of props for his "holiday" festival at the merchant hall. From the blacklights, to the throws, and the assorted beakers, the whole team did a great job with the overall look of their cabin. Thanks!
October, 2008. What an amazing event! What amazing players we have. Awards were more difficult this month than they have been in some time.
