Awards for September, 2009
Billliamm McKraegar and Hammish MacSweeney
Gene and Ian's Celts, Billliamm and Hammish: During the Mushroom Mod, which got a little out of control when the mushroom was double germinated, these two never lost faith, were constantly coming up with new and inventive ways to deal with the situation which, though fruitless, were both clever and hilarious. They stayed in character the whole event, right up until clean-up on Sunday. If you haven’t seen all sides of these two, don’t assume that just because of their antics that they are fools…much more lies just below the surface. Thanks for your dedication and staying in game! Other great characters for September: Ethan Archangel, Morwenne Archangel-Worthington, Pietri Yhatzi, and Mixolydia
Liam Neary's Demon Knight
Liam as the Demon Knight. When a Sunday morning mod moves character development as far forward as he did, that's what NPCing is all about. He struck what seemed like real fear into the hearts of his opponents and instead of just fighting them he spent time trying to corrupt them, as every good Demon Knight should! Great job Liam! Honorable mentions to: Tim as the Agauran, Jon as the Dark Arani, Sam as the ancient VonRitter, and Rob as the Duke/Inquisitor from Evernight.
Jackie Gibs
Not only is she always on call to help anyone with a health concern or injury regardless of the time or weather, she actually raised the bar by driving someone to their house to retrieve their medication. She has a constant willingness to be our KR Health and Safety person at the drop of a hat and for this we commend her. Thank you Jackie! Not to be forgotten: Dave & Jeff from Indiana, jumping in to help whoever and whenever they could. Andy, for not stopping to play his character until everything was running smoothly in NPC land. Alex, for always helping Andy.
The Drega'mire Statehouse
Drega'Mire statehouse... when you first went inside, you were afraid to put your belongings down for fear of ruining something awesome. It in fact looked stately and felt like a home, all in Drega'mire's colors. Jen and the Gambino's did a great job setting it up and we hope they continue to make it a truly noble-looking place. Other places of note: The Yhatzi cabin – still in game & neat on Sunday. Monastery – set up almost completely by Tori alone. Ming’s Tea Shop. Trade Hall. Alisandria Statehouse, as well as the group as a whole. And a special thanks to Doug & Bob for setting up the small Winterdark Merchant Guild/Inn.
