As soon as John veered off topic on his opening announcement, I knew. I am happy for you both.

IG, my absolute highlight had to be Sunday morning when Edwin and Carlotta entered the monastery. Immediately upon seeing us, everyone, no exception, burst into uncontrollable laughter. If you want the details, I can recommend a book in the Baronial Library titled "The Love Child."

5 AM to dawn encounter with Creature of Malyc. Great job by Gannon. We survived only due to the fortuitous appearance of Hengis. I drew down most of my defenses and all of my magic pool. Even that was insufficient and we were lucky to have Lathiel with us to relieve me.

Teaching so many different things to so many different people.

"Keavy, I will be very upset if the prisoner you are escorting somehow dies on the way to the dungeon."

Getting to main mod by arriving late and cutting our way through them.

First rate RP with Cody stands out in w weekend of fine RP.

I have a moment to share quick highlights before I o back to preping for midterms!

Wasn't there for the announcements, but congratulations, John and Leslie! I don't have words that describes everyone's happiness for you two! GAH! SO HAPPY!

Playing the Dwarf Smith for most of the weekend was a huge highlight. I love getting into RP roles and the scenarios that Gene cooked up were an absolute pleasure to be a small part of. Thank you, John, Alice, Shane, Jen W, Logan, Paul, Abby, Jeff, and Larry for interacting with this character because I had loads of fun.

I was a tad bit disappointed that we didn't get to pummel Shane, but it worked out in the end :P
...because then I got to play a Dark Dwarf Assassin/Bounty Hunter and worked with the crazy demon-dwarf!

I wanted to visit the song circle, but I took too long getting into costume and makeup. Thank you, Zach, Jeff, and Megan for humoring me :3

Feast was delicious! And the performers were all wonderful, as usual!

Two highlights when I played the assassin/hunter:
1. "What are you doing!? Get them! Not your own....oh...Dorn..."
(Jeff: "Haha, are you ready?" Me:"Yup..."
WHAM WHAM WHAM SLICE BAM! Dead assassin.

2. Assassin: "GAAAAAH!!!!!" *floop*
Eddie, Diane, and Joe know what I'm talking about. You had to be there. And thank god the snow was there. Haha. Derpy dwarf.

Sunday's Fire Demon fight was enjoyable. It was the first time in a while that I fought with a pole weapon. Also, I liked how it ended, though it was unexpected! (nothing like thinking on the spot and keeping on your toes! :side:)

I don't know when I'll be able to get to an event again (stuffs happened), but thank you for the weekend, everyone.

My highlight was Jed and Arden licking my face. And then later Logan kissed my cheek and i was like "Gina and Judge licked my face" and he was like "so who did i get?" and I said "Judge." and he said "OH THANK GOD." the end.

Braiding Alice's hair into her dwarf beard.

NPC, Tormenting the new players with dwarf banter on new player walk around and then being rude as all get out during actual talks with the baroness. ehehehehehe

SONG CIRCLE! I really hope you guys liked it. I want this to be a continuous thing, so if you have any advice, concerns comments queries complains, lemme know.

Getting to talk to Mixolydia for the first time in months and ruminating on the first time we met and the grey areas we have faced.

Seeing sanity in some very insane people.

BRACERS BRACERS GORGEOUS BEAUTIFUL BRACERS (thank you logan for gifting them, thank you tori for making them, holy poops my heart)

This event was great. A few highlights were:

Doing research with Belechand about dark dwarves was interesting.

Frost giant snowball fight. Then dealing with the drow and finding the letter. Thanks to Nalick for translating it.

Reading the letter to the dwarf king had me nervous IG and OOG, but it was cool to be involved.

Doing research on Ya'atzl was enlightening. Talking to Sir McGreagor and Almat and finding out we have a demon who can possess multiple people at once made me a little nervous.

All the dwarves were great. Female Dwarves have beards?

A few major highlights for me:

- Lots and lots of research time, getting to figure out all kinds of important plot points.
- Defending Karkat for attacking me based completely on IG perception of the situation.
- Seeing Jen W. in action at the negotiation table was fantastic to witness.
- Heroic NPCing. I'm glad the Rangers and Swashbucklers enjoyed the two NPCs.
- Scholar-time from 10 PM on. Got to use the better majority of my scholar skills. Lots of fun getting to figure things out. Sorry, Steve, for roping you into running a mini-mod >.>
- Teaching many many skills, and getting to teach my favorite lesson to date to Goggins. So glad you enjoyed it!
- Even more scholarly shenanigans Sunday morning. Ceremonies and Expert ID with Angelica intermixed with a view lessons. All in all a relaxing Sunday.

Quick Highlight List:

A certain hilarious suggestion to grimkjell in the Monastery. I'll leave it at that, led to some interesting thoughts and roleplay for Grim.

Everything those dorfs did, both Deep and Surface was amazing. Shane, Larry, everyone, all the full time NPCS and all the occasional dwarf you guys were BALLIN. The reveal with larry's dwarf was wonderfully done.

Playing off Steve and Judge with the very opposed moral alignments of Jed and Karkat vs. Grim and Angie is always amazing. I enjoy the slow-burn of things turning hot a few moments during this

Grim hearing Annora and Keavy in trouble, running to try to help only to find out only Keavy could save them from the invis stalker was great. Annora and him had a great little moment, followed by a hilarious and sweet moment between grim and mother Lenore.

Delivering the letters provoked great RP as always.

Gaian mass was wonderful, playing off Maralas, brother, sister, and the new people was wonderful, and seeing the baroness is always a highlight.

Grim exploding when finding out someone had hurt Angeliana was great too. I love playing up that he's thoughtful and gentle until OH NO HIS RAGE BUTTONS GETS PUSHED.

I wish I had seen Clove's cookout for more than 2 seconds but I was busy doing my IG job.

Watching a certain person sled down the hill was great, then Grim forgetting about an order later on was also hilarious, because grim is a well-meaning but indiscreet oaf.

Encountering NPCs who were reacting to the rumors about guards helping slavers was great, particularly when grim had to own up to his own mistakes and ended up somehow impressing the drunken NPCs with his humility, sincerity, and desire to make recompense. By the end they were praising him as a hero, instead of trying to pick a fight.

The Morgazzi plot with gypsies and dragoons and grim, orren, and Galen all vomiting in the middle of the inn was great. Grim being suspicious of the "new militia" in town, being proven right but being unable to fight due to the illness he was fighting was awesome, and the roleplaying choice of having to interrupt the baroness during a bardic circle, which he knows she adores, was such a hard moment, but grim chose duty, despite knowing she'd be mad.

Playing off all the dwarves as a delegation guard was great, particularly some of the stuff Theresa, Shane, and Alice were doing. The Front beard conversation with Annora was particularly funny, as was the berserker fight between Alice Dorf and Grim. Fetching the baroness' coffee was also a joy.

Aella's cooking is a perma-highlight.

Every interaction with the rest of the heargen clan is great, especially at feast. Best table, sorry I don't eat with Drega'mire but family is our thing.

PLuvius being Knighted was a joy for grim. He's always loved and respected him.

Every interaction with Angeliana was great, she's his adopted sister for a reason.

Annora's defensive fighting lesson was wonderful. I really enjoy rping with Karen, Grim and Annora have an interesting mix of agreements and differing ideas that makes them fun to play as a student/master relationship.

Main mod was ~metal~ and tragic. Calling out Bergor only to get whomped into the ground while trying to give him an honorable death was great. Some fo the chaos that got unleashed there is gonna have big Rp consequences down the road.

Playing off Judge was a real joy. Particularly when grim promised Jed if he attacked another member of town again, it would Grim coming for him. That was just... right out of a good movie or TV show, or book. Loved how Judge played it.

Chasing down and attacking my friends is always fun, I love sunday NPC shift, huehuehue. Especially chasing down Caldor Bunny, and Stabbing Aella in the back before she nukes me with a very nasty bow attack. Watching Anhil flail awkwardly with a broken limb also amused.

Also fun was the investigative RP this month, which was being suspicious mostly and discovering in 5 minutes where the last Alisandrian shipment to Calisvorin had gotten to. (Bergor flat told me he'd had the dark dwarves intercept it)

Some short highlights:

ALL of the pokemoning before game. NERDS.

Tim at sign-in: ASCII dragon!!

Friday IG:
Clove cookout! Om nom nom marshmallows. A+ campfire, would campfire again.

Defusing a situation with Terezi/Karkat on one side and Gina/Cappy's alts on the other. Belegchand and I literally standing between the two opposing parties and trying to talk everyone down was a great moment.

NPC:
Drow squad...forcing an entwined with vines Galen to feel the life bleed out of the drow he was holding...sorry...(not sorry)

Saturday:
Invited as an observer to the Kaladonia land meeting. It's very interesting to see how other lands conduct their business and the way they do things.

Teaching! Grim puts up a good show as always and makes trying to explain the lesson interesting.

Being permitted to be an audience member for the swashbuckler duels. BEST INSULTS.

Heading back to the inn and walking into the middle of main mod. Quickly jumping into the battle with no freakin clue what was going on.

Accidentally creating a baby Drega'mod due to being determined to get to the bottom of this plot. See Tim's aforementioned skully shenanigans.

Croínamara wrote: "*whispers*wait, did....did I just get roped into running a mod?" - Famous last words of Steve Oros

...whoops.

Sunday:
Learning battle line! Thank you to all those I roped into helping. And Tim, we gotta talk tactics, both IG and OOG.

Moar teaching in addition to the learning. Intercept is officially my favorite skill to teach.

I almost forgot!

Rachel gave me a lift to the camp on friday night and I promised I'd give her a PBJ sandwich. I didn't have the chance to hand it off to her until Sunday, but so it was and I went into the kitchen to help clean up. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Lorelei fighting off a wolf single-handedly...literally because in the other hand, she was munching on a sandwich. I've always wanted my food to be meant for great things. That made my sunday, Rachel ^_^

Almost forgot! Getting to interact further with Cappy's, Gina's, and Conor's new characters from the Dreamation mod, and their continuing convictions that Annora is somehow a dark druid. Including Typhon wanting to question me before realizing the source's lack of veracity. IG exasperation, OOG hilarity.

That also made my sunday, and I was glad it took me so long to remember to get it. Also, they were diseased rats, and they were killing Lorelai's friends! That's not allowed!
So yeah, it was fantastic, and Lorelai is now a sandwich florentine fighter.

"If I can fight you off while eating this, what do you think will happen when I'm done and can draw my dagger?"

Also I climbed a tree after the rats to be left alone to finish said sandwich.

My first full event playing my new character Alexander Silvers... it is always funny when it turns out your character has talents you never thought of when he was being made such as a natural con artist instead of the negotiator i was intending on, even more so when such a talent is picked up on by others and you are suddenly bombarded with requests to help scam this person or get free drinks.

Even if i was participating in the new player mod for role play purposes in order to immerse alexander into trevance, I probably could have used a few less powerful psionic attacks during it since it kind of made it a little awkward, especially when running into steve at the end and having a short psionic back and forth albeit it was rather amusing.

Got some sleep friday so not much to report on there, but on saturday, the in depth philosophical debates made for a welcome diversion and the entertaining frost giant mod that followed, I don't think it was supposed to have as much conflict as i may have caused blowing all my psi points before shift, but hey i doubt you can say the random conflict didn't make it more fun.

main mod in the inn-- crazy stuff man you dark dwarves had some really nice antics going there

on sunday sitting in on trade negotiations when ogres come running in, take a swing at my mate only to take a simultaneous shield of suffering and psionics, the "wth" just happened to it routine afterwards was a definite bonus.

returning as brother john to answer some of caldor's questions from an earlier date took a ironic twist when he ended up experiencing death and rebirth that epitomize his aspects not to mention the paradoxical situation he was placed in afterward (support the laws governing the nation and risk losing credibility or tolerance towards religiously intolerant people and deviate from the sect's teachings by not upholding the governance of the land.... gah gotta buy time to work this out) sorry conner i had to pick the former but it was a heck of a tough call.
