Pre-event boat based RP was strange but fun. Gunnar gained a bit of a reputation from it but I don’t think it is an entirely inaccurate one.
Friday night Angeliana healing RP was a good way to start of the event. It really got me into the mindset of Gunnar and that carried through the weekend. Also all of the potions that were made Friday night… all the potions. Also the RP with Maralas on something that is bothering her and figuring out what the literal something was and trying to talk to it.
Saturday morning … even more potions. Then the Gaian temple mod. Itching powders and Sigfried and Bran and Gunnar moving heavy things. No thanks to Belechand. Filthy magic. Gunnar nearly learns a hard lesson about politics but rational thought rules the day. Then making more potions and a few lessons.
Officially vasaled to Kaladonia. Good thing I already wear some green huh? Also I learned germinate (Caldor will be proud but also sad that he didn’t get to teach Gunnar)
Ignore magic a being that is the pure embodiment of a lightning storm. Interact with a living Solar Ray.
Feast was excellent food and interesting conversation. What happens when you sit between a Gaian and a Galmacian at dinner? Philosophy… that’s what happens.
Post feast purification of the waters ritual. Who’s idea was it to sit the Barbarian down next to the White Sorcerer? Good lesson in self control there.
Main mod I was with the Kaladonians and the Guards where I joined with Tris to form the Rabbit team. We were hopping along to buildings along the path to make sure that all able fighters were going to the field of battle.
Fought and healed a lot on main mod. Teamed up with Keavy and a mysterious man in black (later to find out it was Orias) in a good one two combo to roll up the right line of the opposing forces. That was fun.
Sunday morning, round two of working on trying to communicate with the entity bothering Maralas. This time with a little help from a friend. Sadly no results yet. This project may be difficult to handle.
I’m sure I missed something… but it was great to be back in Travance… well… ok… back at Camp again.
EDIT: Forgot many people. Aldric -- very good RP and Bar mass was ... interesting. Helping Lois to see clearly past the evil spirits. Conversations with Lord Aleister about Shamanism.
Second Edit: Also got to carry James bodily to be buried as his NPC and witness his death scene. Special guest star, a large red gem physrep that I had donated a while ago (or at least one that looked very similar). Great to see it put to such good use.

The island descriptions and RP leading up to it were great.
Meeting that due Damien plays when he's not being the baron was super cool, him laughing with Sylus at the bar was great fun.
A lot of introductory RP with the Tanwyns and the Winged Victory people, who I hadn't really encountered much prior to this. You guys are bringing real energy and skill and acting to the game, I'm excited for it.
Hrafendoom returned!
Laying waste to foes with that sword again is just... very nice. Having a 2HE that wields like a rapier is just insanitysauce.
The aching roleplay of the distance between Grim and his friends amongst the light clergy and the paladin order was beautiful. He's the child chasing their shadows in the dark, always a step or two behind. Glorious.
Seeing augustus and fighting with him again. Like old times, only not. Grim misses being unburdened.
A wonderful little conversation with Dimitri
Getting typecast with Michaela by her brother as enormous thugs for the Sunday mini main mod.
Larry amazing mini-encounter with the ship loading and the boats. It was comedic and fun for the players, and the NPCs. Especially when we were all "Sealegs lol."
The OOG reaction to myself in a knit cap smiling and laughing and generally motivating NPCs to have a fun time after seeing Grimkjell all the time, who varies from Dour to Surly in terms of his general moods.
Fun with Gren (James' NPC) and Maria's Lizard person. Especially the part where they hand grim a gold Coin and say "Tanwyn!" Grim couldn't disagree.
Mushroom Samba the mod. Massive props for not killing them!
Seeing Jason Feldman as a monster Marshal. So proud of him.
Reacting to Kardin dying with Sigfried as barbarians do, by drinking and telling tales, only to be interrupted by kardin himself kicking ass in the next room.
Missing Caldor and Aella.
Feast was delicious, as always. Goose puts on a show, and while my stomach regrets it a bit, I will never turn down food he cooks.
Classic main mod blessings with Bran.
A really cool moment of Grim interacting with Lord Aleister, and about what they each think of the Island.
Setting up torches for main mod.
Napping in the base camp. Listening to Sindarion sing. Trying to learn a new song and instead simply being enchanted by his voice.
Huddling with Tobias at the table and quiet conversations about hope.
Annora and Grim parts 1 and 2, and their varying interpretations of passion, duty, and what the right thing is. The hurt that comes with two friends being unable to agree.
Seeing Angeliana again, and trying to figure out why she was like she was.
All in all, a great March event, and hearing how much everyone else loved it made it that much better.
And, of course, once again. Seeing Fiona, kneeling to her, and understanding what she meant to everyone at KR, good, evil and in between.

Nalick:
Angeliana fighting a mental battle with herself and doing what I could to help.
Gunnar's RP therein (you're fun to watch, Joe!)
A chat and a hug with Angeliana sometime afterward.
Showing Ergos how (not) to prepare a proper cup of coffee and what to watch out for, especially when adding the sugar.
A private philosophical discussion that turned into an incidental Willpower lesson. Though I didn't call the skill, I considered it used, what with the actual heartburn and all.
Sitting down and having Mistress Jade lecture me on proper boat etiquette following a series of between-event Facebook group chats.
Learning the hard way that Rook can't take a joke--at least without returning fire... literally.
Lord Tartaros'/Steve's face on Sunday when Rook shot someone and I called "Intercept, Requiem of Bound Fate!"
Borrowing Josh and Connor's bards when Wylla needed to be escorted to bed. Josh sang the whole way there and I sure hope nobody heard his song about Tellegrim.
Having dropped his guitar pick, Josh strumming with a gold coin instead.
James and Maria's portrayal of natives. I wish I could have interacted with you guys. What I saw looked great!
The Fiona scene. I'm glad I got to witness it. One of my favorite moments of the event was definitely when everyone in the room knelt simultaneously.
Sunday morning grogginess. The coffee was not yet ready, nor was my brain. I sat at a table with Danae and some newer players and for a while could not form coherent sentences. But I made them laugh anyway.
Danwyn(?): "What do you call a box full of ducks?"
Nalick: "...a box of quackers?"
We may have been the only ones at the table who didn't groan, but I am thankful that I found someone who shares a similar sense of humor!
Tris giving lessons to Gabe and me on how to be a bear.
Seamus and Bran teaching Nalick how to repel attacks. Shane and Chris, thanks for also teaching me OOG techniques as well as the skill.
Being called over by a relatively new addition to the Andorran flock for a moral debate, I asked what they were arguing about when Lady Tartaros stepped in to stop me from weighing in on a discussion of homunculi. I can't see why that would be...
More silly back and forths with Faust.
Silliness with Crowley. "BARD BAR!"
A bonding moment with Cyrik shortly after main mod.
Chet (my DnD character of 5 months and counting, with some alterations):
That the first person I met was Magnus and our introductory chat revolving around Chet being upset at the lack of a bartender and his inability to get a pint.
Magnus: "IT'S NOT EVEN EIGHT BELLS!"
Having Magnus forge me a small axe. Matt, that scene was really cool. I hope your hands are okay!
Having breakfast while unloading all manner of innuendo that I would never have thought, let alone said as Nalick. Whoa.
The chat with Fenri about having breakfast in bed and him wondering why you would "get hungry in the bedroom?"
Poking fun at Evangeline, some of the Winged Victory crew, among others.
Eating breakfast with my hands and chewing with my mouth open. It felt liberating.
Standing on the back porch of the Inn when James walks out and checks out my garb and tells me it looks great! (Also after game when some other friends also complimented me!)
I finally attended Enaxian mass! What's the topic? Mercy, of course. Mordra is safe--for now.
Following Enaxian mass, another first--Brazenite mass!
Seriously though, if your character is at all curious about religion, you should go to a mass. It's an interesting experience.
Busting Argyle/Forest's chops. Love ya, buddy!
Getting myself in trouble with Lilith. I bet Chet's glad he wore overalls.
Conversations with Ash (and coming up with ways not to forget each other's names), which started with just the two of us while they set up for Feast and ended with almost 10 people sitting at the table, all dying of laughter.
Trying to catch my breath and sounding like an owl. I'm looking at you, Lake.
THE SOUP!
Learning how to read with a funny lesson from Dame Arden
One OOG highlight was definitely watching Matt Calo fighting as a pirate and barely having to call a hold despite getting wailed on from all sides. You know your stuff.
Also at main mod when Bran went into a rage and Goose called "Intensify" several times.

Seriously, oog- amazing weekend, so much fun.
The island realms chat before hand. Getting to be involved with the story even when not at camp was amazing. Plus it gave me an excuse to walk around with a black eye for most of the weekend which was so much fun.
At game, rook was having a major crisis of identity and spent the weekend in a really bad place emotionally. Which made for really interesting and emotionally driven rp, even if the people I was interacting with didn't realize how much everything was affecting her.
Tanwyns- as usual, family business was amazing. Thank you Coran for your assistance, that scene made my life. Now I want more. Calven and Rook in general leads to very interesting RP, and I know this weekend was rough on both of them, so I'm excited for what comes next
Fucking hexes. I'm so over hexes . Oog I know where most of them came from, IG rook thinks it's from someone else and personally blames herself for every single one of them. Which was a huge emotional drain to her. Her realizing that she does actually care about the people around her (she doesn't care that she got hexed, she's annoyed but she knew it was going to happen, she had a warning on that and was ready for it to happen eventually, but they messed with the crew and she was told it was her fault and it was going to continue, and she is a mess)
Because she was in such a weird emotional place she was acting out of emotion instead of logic, which was fun to play and lead to some very very interesting role plays and new business arrangements
MAGNUS I DONT REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAID TO ROOK BUT ONE SECOND IM TELLING YOU TO MIND YOUR OWN FREAKING BUSINESS AND WE'RE HAVING IT OUT IN THE INN AND THE NEXT MOMENT I DID A TOTAL 180. like I was ready to just roll my eyes and walk away, and I started to, but then next thing I know you said something and I opened my mouth to tell you to fuck off and the words "okay fine" are coming out.
This whole game was rook having other people offer to help her fight these battles and she's now questioning why is loyalty such a bad thing. Aleister made a really really good case to her about trusting him, and then turned around and followed through on it not 2 minutes later WHEN NALICK TRIED TO SHOOT ME WITH MY OWN BULLET. So thank you Nalick, I think you just helped rook decide on a decision she was sort of stuck on.
Oh also I shot Nalick in the face for a pasta pun. That was a definite highlight.
Didn't have a lot of lessons this game thanks to the hex drama, but I learned the hard way- if grim offers you a combat based lesson you better be prepared to get wailed on. Omfg I don't know what I expected but it wasn't that.
also, rook learning advanced literacy turned into a lesson about addition and syllables. Rook deciding that "tenty-eight" and "twoty-two" and "fivety" makes more sense as number than whatever high elf shit starling was trying to tell her.
The reunion with D! getting slammed up again a wall with a dagger to my throat was lots of fun!
And then, the three highlights that weren't rook:
Chilling in the kitchen between 4:30am and 7:30 am on Saturday morning with matt oog just talking. It was fun since our characters rarely get along, but he's super good people and I love talking with him
After lay off hold was called getting to spar Matt with training swords. And remembering how much I actually suck at fighting
And then the biggest highlight- getting to play Fiona. Seriously, hands down number one highlight, even though I was so freaking cold I couldn't stop shivering. Sitting up, looking around at everyone, even being on the other side of it it was a crazy powerful scene. I was so crazy nervous because I knew how important the character is, and I was so terrified I was going to totally mess it up, but I'm so honored to have been able to be a part of this. Thank you so much to James and drew and all the storytellers involved

Boat Realms chat. Everything was A+ rp. Seriously. It swung from over the top hilarious to dead serious and back again. Huge personal revelations, recreational medicine use, serious religious debates, wrasslin' matches, breaking Grim and Magnus with talk about man-love, and breaking Swyft with nightmares.
Friday:
Shenanigans in Logistics. Exchanging insults via scrolls. HAIL HYDRATE.
The mental chaos begins.
Bran: "Now that I'm a Templar, they're going to try to give me responsibilities, aren't they?"
Elric: "Don't worry, we won't hold it against you."
Bran: "That answer does not exactly fill me with confidence."
Saturday:
Bran goes on early morning drunken walkabout. Accidentally finds ruins.
The resulting mod led to some phenomenal revelations, and some serious rumor-mongering asshattery. Bran is now fully convinced every time he does something right, it will be immediately followed by something going horribly wrong.
Coffee is Valosian holy water, whiskey is Galladellian.
The whole scene in Kaladonia with Tobias trying to fix Rudy's little... problem. Nothing about that scene was bad. A+ roleplay and player creativity. It is exactly moments like that that make being a Monster Marshal and/or Storyteller worth it. Easily one of my favorite things that happened all event.
A stick of butter and a running start.
Late-night satyr's wine shenanigans with Maeve.
"Your beard makes you look like a woman. Very effeminate. Have you considered bedazzaling it?"
Musical Chaos Blast
Sowing the seeds of budding new Chaos Warriors by telling people they can rip someone's arm off through the leg socket.
Sunday:
The Templar of 5 gods. I think despite their differences, Bran and Aldric have a lot in common and could be a formidable force for good.
Bran and Seamus beating knowledge into Nalick. Any time you want actual oog fighting practice or tips, let us know, Jeff! We love teaching oog fighting skills.
The most ridiculous Secret Pocket lessons ever. This just in: Maeve is sweet and innocent, and Annora is a terrible pervert. Just like all the other Paladins. Bjorn's virginity and Fenri's pants are safe for another day.
"What do you take me for? Some kind of big damn hero?"
Sergei Petsho, Voivode and Steward of Inovar, Owner and Masseur Extraordinaire of Magic Hands Massage.
"What, it's for my research, I swear!"
Nigel Whitworth, Gentleman Apothecary

Lets not fight realms. the first time I actually swung a PC attack was Sunday morning. Does that mean I won avoid pissing things off on the good island?
Crafting things, repairing things, selling things, more sockets!
Maybe an assistant soon?
Laying broken in the waterfront cabin after a surprise Renee visit. I laughed soooo good.
Helping with yet another surgery.
Being called to help tear down a wall and getting there just in time to miss being needed.
Seeing Fiona.
Get all diseased up to only make it 100 feet before i was found out and then fixed.

Some highlights:
~ Being found by a few "adventurers" near the shore. Swyft recognizing Angeliana 2.0
~ All of the RP that followed. Swyft and company taking Angeliana to Jed... for some reason. Swyft and Angeliana beating each other around for a while. Throws and shield bashes left and right. One beard comment later, Jed axed Angeliana down. Sorry Swyft, he proved my point, not yours.
~ Getting healed in the middle of the base camp (inn) and dealing with all of her crazies and emotions at once. The following amazing RP with Gunnar, Maralas, Rudolf and Nalick. Gunnar the tea... nom, the soul retrieval... win! Maralas, a true friend. Rudolf; family who loves her. Then Nalick, a perfectly timed prayer of her Goddess followed by a slam dunk hug and Kwildar's holy symbol. I couldn't have scripted that better myself if I tried. Finally, no more Glomm in her head.
~ RP with Orias and Brigitta, you two always rock.
~ Banishing things after seeing them with pure sight. Also the following pure sight lesson for Aldric. His confession, also great RP.
~ Sincere talk with Lord Aleister. Oh empathy will never abandon Angeliana, and even crazy, she mustered some for a Lord in need. I hope she helped.
~ All of the reactions to Angeliana's make up, changes in her character and the LEDs in her staff made me really happy. Thank you all for the compliments, especially the folks who thought the scars were real, it was my first time doing scar make up so it meant the world to me.
Saturday:
~ Miss Demeanor had to learn 2 million things and found people who were willing to oblige and in oh so very entertaining ways. Radley was a great sport and D enjoyed your lessons a lot.
~ Ketrin, thank you for your lesson, I think I made it look super real. I did end up with a very sprained left ankle and had to take off right before feast BUT we made it look good at least :silly:
~ Aldric's courage lesson was good too, remember you're bound by confession for what you pried out of D!
~ Jun, man you're a hoot. We should most definitely RP more pirate shenanighans.
~ All of the shooting. I clearly need a better loading mechanism, I already asked Sir Cypher to come up with a mcjiggy to autoreload type of thing so I don't have to sit there struggling with it mid battle while I get demolished.
~ "Tattooing" in the middle of the camp next to the noble / baron table? Ooops? "He be willin' tho? He asked me fer it!" Making talking duck hands at the warlord. I totally half expected D to get executed for that as I kept saying it's maritime or it's an island there are no laws.
~ Rook speaking a name at D which she thought she had killed all who knew of it. Pinning Rook to a door with her dagger at Rook's throat only to have Magnus's sword at her own. Fun times. I guess you never know when you'll run into someone you grew up with and thought was dead.
~ First threat ever which legitimately freaked Demeanor out. Magnus... you are one crafty s.o.b. And pretty much the only reason IB still has his man bits.
~ Ib pulling Rook's gun on her and getting D's gun in his face before he could lift it all the way. Then Rook trying to show him how to cock it properly as D face palmed. Jun walking in an pulling his gun to join the gun party. You guys are too much.
~ A very fun and creative conversation with my partner in "not so approved activities", resulting in one fantastic plan and one hilarious dread surgery.
Sadly, I had to leave right before feast as it became very obvious that I wasn't going to be able to walk on my left ankle much longer. It was very nice to see all of you and to be able to RP with all of you again. Until next time KR family. Take care.

And the moment of dread thinking,"did I just introduce the wild man to higher grade weapons" after a short weapon swap and evaluating the axe James carried. Primitive axe vs. standard steel sword. still might aswell be flintlock vs repeater carbine.
Nikoli felt humbled by the wild man's sacrifice as we gathered around.

While I barely remember Friday night due to extreme exhaustion, I do remember that before I went to sleep at 4am I was already out of healing points, so that must have been interesting. Oh I also tended to the fire, so I felt rather useful! Especially since Ergos loves helping and tends not to say no when a request is made.
Saturday consisted of almost being exploded by magical healy creatures giving me too much of the healy heals, getting forced into buying amazing Tanwyn chili, a very generous smith crafting a socket for me that I must still repay him for, scrambling about worrying that I wouldn't get a teacher for healing, lots and lots of fun RP in the general store, npcing for main mod and making Marcus fall down twice, crazy hallucinogens combined with a psionicist, and the wonderful, hilarious, open-mouth kissing, glowy-spirit-calming, guitar-playing NPC bard and the adventures that came along with that.
Sunday I made the decision to sit down by Nalick and friends, and almost immediately regretted it as soon as the puns started hitting the table (just kidding, they were hilarious). I figured Nalick must've gotten drunk or something considering how much he was laughing, but I then realized that it was just Jeff Balla being Jeff Balls when my neutralize poison had no effect. Great times. Then I was oh-so generously taught a few abilities which was quite nice. After that, pirate mod was a great time, filled with whacking pirates for a whopping two damage, getting yelled at by Hazel for not having an adequate fighter to guard me, and then an interesting healing lesson in which my teacher fell down super hard and I had to run around trying to find a healer for him. Afterwards, I got to heal some burning people and some people who were missing limbs during some teaching.
All around I had a really great time and I can't wait to come back for April! Thank you everyone for being nice to the newbie, I hope to make it worth your while when I can effectively be helpful in Travance!

Making plans to undertake some serious research - and lining up a group to help. Its going to be a long trip.
Main mod - the army we fought could not have been better designed for Edwin to fight.
Between Saturday and Sunday breakfasts the kitchen set a record, both for total made and for NPCs served.
I found three people to both help and eventually take over my lunch business. Two were there (the third told me her next event will be April). One was new (Beria) and the other was Heimriel). The were both excellent. Beria could sell sand to a Beduin. I feel confident I will now have some extra time to do other things, people will continue to be fed as usual for lunch, and some relative newcomers will be able to earn coin as well as meet a wide variety of PCs.
Deciding to name two "signature" breakfasts. The von Kreutzdorf, sadly, could not be given to Rudolf, but rather had to be delivered to Larry, as he was Marshaling Sunday AM. As Christine had to leave early, the "Mirwin" will have to be introduced next month. I may decide to call it "The Jewel of Pendarvin," but that is a little pretentious, even for Edwin.
Interesting developments vis a vis my relationship with Pendarvin's vassals. Soon comes the Chinese curse.
Finding a happy medium for the Statehouse temperature is proving difficult. Wonder how the hot, humid weather will play.
People think Edwin's swords are worth stealing because, well, they belong to Edwin. Did I mention that since Mithril can now be broken, I use steel swords?

Seven panic attacks over the weekend.....I had a bad time.
I did have one of my friends come to game though so I get some sweet referral build
There were good things that happened.....awesome RP with Cypher and Crowley, then more RP with Crowley which prompted people to ask OOG if we were having OOG problems, nope, we are just that good
Being able to RP being happy about EVERYTHING because of all the positive energy on the island....do something bad? FEEL GREAT ABOUT IT!
Eli doing psychic suggestion on Fenri to be pissed off at the Baron, I run out of the not-Inn and am about to swing at him before I see Thalia and she is able to help me....I then find out later what exactly it means to be vassaled to a land....I brought up that I might have a problem with someone and before I knew it, Pendarvin was marching to the not-Inn to question/take care of it....IG I got miffed that MANY people came up to me and said "Are you sure it wasn't just your empathy that made you want to assault the Baron??" - I have an IG family that has done more for me than my OOG family does...
(also finding out that I have friends IG that would have NO PROBLEMS killing him for me)
I then found out things that Fenri can relate to in regards to Eli....which can lead to some FANTASTIC RP in the future.
RP'ing with Zinna, who was drunk on the boat to the island, that she tried to kiss Fenri. "You came up to me and said "Fenri, you not so bad Elf, only a jerk sometimes but still handsome. You then leaned in to kiss me but missed me and fell down." - having everyone else there call BS on it saying she was just passed out drunk, Fenri not buying any of their BS though and offering Zinnia the opportunity to try again anytime.
LATE Saturday night Empathy training with Amalthea (and then Eli walking in on us while my arm was on the floor, blood everywhere, I look at him dead in the eyes and say "It's been a very interesting day for us, eh?" A bit later, wandering with Hurgar while nothing else was really going on.....(at least nothing that I could find)
Having Lillith under my cloak and Duncan making us BOTh get *VERY* red in the face, then looking up and seeing Kyle had been snapping photos the entire time.....oh boy, those will be fun pictures if they ever see the light of day
Sunday staff fighting with Fyodor, getting ACTUAL combat training was great!
Honestly that kick in the head really made Friday night and most of Saturday impossible to enjoy......plus there's large portions of that time frame that are fuzzy.

Afterwards was pretty crummy due to some OOG ish, but Liz is awesome and made me feel better.
Saturday morning was paperwork time, and it was lots of fun! I got to be a wolf and eat people. So satisfying. Also, watching the transformation of Mr. Jones to Alejandro the flamboyant priest of Andorra was a delight. Only bad thing about Saturday morning NPC shifting is missing market faire. I NEED MORE TREE SOAP DAMMIT!
My dissection lesson was the best thing ever. Nesterin was all like "let's get an animal to practice on", and Wili, if you know her at all, was like "HELL NO let's get a person!". Cue five minutes trying to convince Cael the salad Tanwyn to let me chop him open, only to be ended by Maer volunteering himself. I really REALLY love that mindset of "don't inflict anything on someone else until you have personally experienced it" thing you've got going on, Max. Anyway, so I chopped up Max several times, got threatened by a lot of people and responded "he volunteered!!!". Afterwards, Wili was chopping up everything she could get her knives on, including Bill the NPC on Sunday. I was trying to stabby-mcstaberson every prisoner, to which many people were like "WILI NO", and finally got away with one thanks to my new barbarian buddy Wolfgar! He totally covered for me when questioned by some guard members about why their prisoner was a pile of decomposed mush.
Super sad I got stuck in the back of the main mod hoard because I'm not useful, and missed seeing Rachel as Fiona I hear she was amazing, though!
DEAR GOD GET ME OFF THIS ISLAND I MISS MY BLACKBIRD! OH also I'm the new manager of the BB because husbando joined the Onyx guard. HAHAHAH.

I was sent out as a nature's herald guarding a, something, with a bunch of light-blessed island animals. The PCs went in, found absolutely nothing, and stormed out very mad-like. Whereas the NPC were great on both an IG and OOG standpoint. As NPCs, when we are OOG (Walking to/waiting at a MOD site) being quiet in an effort to not disturb the IG atmosphere of our friends should be considered law. We want to show as much respect to them as they do to us. The NPC team I was with this event was very good about understanding, and following this. Thank you guys!
I also played as a poison ooze in an effort to piss off the druids, as well as a shade to piss of everyone else.
Afterwards, I get my happy ass into character for a couple of hours. I spent that time with Wili, as well as other friends before Wili and I decided to call it a night.
I spent the first three hours of Saturday morning wandering the woods alone. The wife was doing her paperwork, so I decided to get some quiet time, away from the town. I ended up stumbling upon a group who was headed to a cave. Their mission was to clear it out, so I decided to tag along. Watching Wormwood in battle is quite a show. I need to learn how to properly fight alongside that man.
Afterwards, out of the blue, (No pun intended, seriously) Clytie recruited me to the Onyx Guard, telling me to speak with Ser Pluvious. The knight and I discussed the position, what I would be doing, and all that, before letting me have time to consider it. After going over it with my wife, I made my way to The Baron's encampment to officially accept the honor of being on the Onyx Guard. The rest of my Saturday was at the Baron's side along with Clytie and Pluvious.
Thank you, Goose for wonderful feast!
Main MOD was spent guarding the Baron as we made our way through the tower to Fiona. I'm very proud for Rachael's portrayal of Fiona! A++
I tried to spend as much of my time after that with my Wife, whom missed me a lot.
This was a wonderful event! Thank-yous go out to Drew and his team for bringing it to life! I hope to see everyone again in April!

-Friday night tagged along on an scouting mission with Arradir and Kardin. Ended up trying to do more emotional healing on the way back than actual healing when we thought Kardin died.
"Sadly the only organ I cannot magically fix is the heart."
-Spending time on Saturday helping with Nesterin's lessons. Magic philosophy talks, being a [EDIT: VOLUNTEER] cadaver (WILY NO), ensuing theological talks, hiding around for tracking lessons. Maer is a helpful friend.
-NPC shift, dancing around the inn saturday night as a positive black ooze trying to get laughs out of people
-Trying to help with the pirate attack on Sunday, getting hilariously outclassed by the other healers, being forced to turn a literal blind eye at some secret dissection time.
There were some ups and downs, but overall I really enjoyed my first event. I hope I can see Travance again soon.

-Drinking contest against André the Romani that ended in a very satisfying tie. Seeing him with a shirt on threw Kardin for a hell of a loop though.
-SO MANY NEW FRIENDS AND THE RETURN OF OLD ONES. Names to remember, Danae, Willy, Berry, Maer, Cyrik, Markus, Nesterin, Allyce, Arradir (I'm probably forgetting some people )
-First time Kardin led a mission completely by himself. Gathering herbs and map making with Maer, Arradir, Cyrik, and a Bedouin who tried to hug Jed. *forehead is red from all the facepalming*
-As always, the food.
-Playing a bit of music with Burkhart. Who remembered how to play the song I wrote!
-First time Kardin was attacked from all sides by himself, and first time he fought off and escaped from an ambush of rogues. Also avoided their traps.
-Being thrown by Seamus into my gear.
-Tracking down the same rogues and getting trapped in itching powder, quick bind, and alchemical adhesive with Keavy. (It was pure evil)
-First arrest after escaping the trap and tracking down (a second time) the rogues and bringing them to justice.
-First life tag was taken. Basically died like Gandalf. Was grabbed by a falling enemy into the abyss. Was brought back as Kardin the White. (So pleased to see how many people were actually affected by Kardin's death. Actually got a bit emotional at that. Love all of you guys so much!)
-Dwarf mom's reaction to Kardin's survival. "That's very nice, now help me pick up these bottles."
-Interrupting my own wake like a badass. Still pissed that no one left a drink for ME. Next time perhaps.
-First Master Warrior lesson with Grim.
"Kardin, emotionally move me" (Thinking of poetry or personal tale)
"Sorry, Lieutenant..."
"For what?"
"You're a f**king Chaos Warrior."
*roughly half a minute of strangling Kardin noises*
"You pass." WHAT DID I LEARN?!
-Spoke with Bob, Marcus, and Nalick about the move known as 'The Andorran Scarecrow' and why Nalick makes sure to keep his staff squeaky clean. Discussed how marriage unions must work for inter-dimensional travelers like Verril. Saw a smile from Bob *so proud*
-Attending Light Mass for the first time and was coaxed into participating a bit (Praise Valos)
-Meeting Danae, a Barbarian who tried to get my hackles up, but deciding I was worth her time and gave much appreciated support and occasional head scritchies.
-Learning from Sergeant Allyce that I am truly mini-Magnus.
-Being challenged to a fight by Markus who believed that his magic would make quick work of me.
-Absolutely cherishing the look on Markus's face when he realized he just picked a fight with a Northman and banked on magic to help him win. (We can work on your form, mate!)
-Looking forward to a future lesson from Duncan about being a Master Warrior. So excited about that.
-Learning that the Blood Spirits may not be as bad as Kardin had thought, and Birgitta isn't all that scary after all. (Leslie you are the NICEST LARP mom ever. Thank you for trying to save me from youthful stupidity)

I had an absolute blast in the BoatRealms chat. I love being able to interact with characters I don't normally get a chance to see during an event, and interact with the ones I do in a different way.
So many lessons. Thanks to Grim, Seigfried, Gideon, and George. Combat!Lois begins... I guess I should finally buy some body, huh?
"If you want this to go more smoothly, we'll need an updated guard roster."
"I'll take care of it."
Yessssssss someone volunteered for paperwork!
Belegchand's Big Book of Rituals.
Watching Coran be amazing at his job, even when I tease him by pretending there are seven people in the inn waiting for businesses
Gren & Skree & charades. I was so sad when we found out the hidden fourth step, and finally understood why Gren made us promise to take Skree with us. It was amazing RP - plus watching James make lewd gestures to get across the concept of "life avatar" to Belegchand was hilarious
How to Gren & Skree the word for "ear" became "elf", and "gold" became "Tanwyn"
I never sing in front of people. Like, ever. I discovered this event that Lois will sing in front of Nalick.
Conversations with Tari.
After a series of interruptions, teaching Belegchand his 100th lore, and getting to end the lesson with the phrase "sorry not sorry."
I came home so energized from the event. Thank you everyone for your stellar dedication to RP and each other

Drunk Tracking is best tracking And there was absolutely no secret dissection.... absolutely none... just the one we did on you while you were alive. (and a willing participant i might add)

Cardio! I was everywhere this weekend.
My BEST Highlight, I found my character direction. I know WHO Argyle is, where he is at, and where I would like to see him go. I had a lesson this event that taught ME something. It changed how look at role playing, it's about everyone, whether it's two people, or two hundred. That reminds me, can a RP Marshal please me?
I talked with so many people this event, if I don't name you here, please don't be upset, the RP is the best I've had. What a BLAST, the interactions between PCs was great.
I actually taught a few lessons, and must say, I dropped the ball on one, and made up for it Sunday! I asked for help to train it. I have a Rule on learning on skills, if I can't RP it, or have a way to teach it, I won't learn it. (Luis, take a bow) so, worked out a new lesson of the skill, can't wait to teach it in the future.
Tori: Dope New Garb; straight up, I thought you were an alt or some fresh new hell you and Drew cooked up.
Billiam beating an ape death, so hardcore combat Role Play, that was sick.
Steph and another NPC using me as a ping pong ball, fun.
"Tari, what part of I'm not letting you die do they not understand? It would really not look good if I let my teacher's wife get killed."
John (Munky): That is, simply put, the best scene to date I had at this game. Deep, when I walked away from that, I was going over it again and again. Days later, and just wow.
(I'm ready for that test, like, let's do this!)
"Seriously? We are on a whole island of Positive Energy, there isn't a single undead on it, it's literally a witch hunters dream right? SOMEONE WANT TO TELL ME HOW THE HELL WE SO BUSY?" I loved it, y'all are great. You beautiful wreck of people, I call my family.
Wormwood bailing me out. I was in WAY over head, but I wasn't going to back down. I was bluffing, thank you. Argyle is tuff, not THAT tuff.
Sanura, Damon, Evrat, and Argyle, NOT a normal party, we NEVER run together, and then a few pirates try to mess with us. WORST PARTY TO PICK A FIGHT WITH EVER!
Crowley, my hat to you. Not easy to throw me off my game, you nailed it.
"Is, is that Angel?" "NO WAY, she isn't...em, that." Daaamn, Alice.
Joe and Rebecca; yo we miss you, it was great to see you.
Jeff Balla, that was fun, I hope we run together more.
Whoever played the Bear, that was great. Your my NPC of the month, and man...Maria KILLED it as Skree.
Maria, awesome, just awesome. Your mass was great, the punishment with Chenjing...awesome. You are totally my Player of the Month.
Matt Defranza beating me up as a NPC. I owe you a better fight.
Rachel killing it as Fiona, simple, deep, to the point. You sold it.
Atrus NOT there this event, STILL gets blamed for what happened to Angel(could of used your help...)
Special Note: "WHEN ALL OF ALISANDRIA WARNS YOU TO NOT FIGHT SOMETHING, DO NOT, I SAY AGAIN, DO NOT TRY TO FIGHT IT!"
Best use of a Scroll. HEY! I need paid for that!
No Swyft, I did NOT kill that bard. (Josh, that was fun man) I don't just go around looking to kill people in hunting parties...That is what Venier and Undead are for.
Jackdaw, sold time. Tanwyns, you all are great.
That is it for this round. I'm still pumped from this!

Friday night turned into another living hell for Swyft. Even on the Island of Good, a katta can't get no justice.
Tori's new Angelica outfit was amazing. DAT HAIR THO.
Being a raucous pirate was fun.
“Lord Smallclothes No-Fun!” © Ashe's pirate.
Goose, Sylas is a pain in my arse.
“Making it rain” on Judge.
Being silly and trying not to jingle too much in the Alissandria cabin while a billion wolves were outside.
Going on a profitable treasure hunt with Zathir! It's been so long since he and Swyft got into shenanigans!
Good times with Indigo as per usual.
I got to use Maelstrom's “get-everyone-out-of-crit-but-go-into-crit-yourself” ability for the first time!!! And I'm so glad Connor was there for it! Ilana was on that so fast, I don't think I even hit the floor before she blew a corpse-resuscitate on me, haha! Thank-you!
A deep and moving talk with Magnus which alleviated some worries, but has only made Swyft more conflicted. (Just as soon as I think I know what to do... lol.)
Ilana's constant checking up on me.
Unplanned Berserker lesson with Evrat. Yeah, that caused some issues. Sorry not sorry about your leg in the night, bro. At least I healed it right away. I not THAT much of a jerk. … Like you...
(Maelstrom's vindictiveness comes in handy, sometimes. )
Ben's positive energy shapeshifter. Giving Swyft all the frights and feels! I loved the impression of Jed. Haha...
Amaaaaaaaazing RP with Pluvious, Nalick and Tari. I hope you got to see how deep some of that stuff goes. Again, sorry about the shenanigans. Swyft is more than one card short of a deck right now. It's a nuisance, sometimes.
Pluvious, Swyft is super touched that you let her get attuned to that family phokus! That meant so much to her!
Josh's bard... Oh my god. It was a love-hate relationship, really. Loved having him as a traveling companion with Sin and Wylla, though! Hilarity ensued!
I'm a little sad that Swyft wasn't allowed to meet Fiona, though. So it goes, I guess!
It was great to see everyone again! Love you all!

-Getting into giant arguments with both Aleister and Angelica, and all the conversations that followed.
-The moment where Merikh, the dark priest, is having a better time on this island than either the white sorcerer or the paladin.
-Nearly ripping Grim's head off when he kept following Annora. Bill, sorry not sorry
-Great paladin talks, both with Cinder and with the group as a whole.
-And because it's worth mentioning again, MAIN MOD. SLDKFJSLDKF
From Team Paladin & Friends managing to actually stick together, to negotiating and trying to talk down Steve's guardian, to kneeling by Fiona's bed as she was woken up. All of it was fucking magical.
-Sunday pirate shenanigans. Zach, endless entertainment was had.

Did something I shouldn't have on the island of good
Get to describe the visual for Maelstroms crit skill. Doing that for Maelstrom and the other swords is one of the big reasons I enjoy running that plot.
Being the only one to be able to see Matt Calo as Vallo. All the Break Limbs out of Vanish. Never thought I'd love leeching restoration so much.
