I have been ordered to post my findings to all Subjects of Travance to make you aware of the Laws and to stand as a warning to all subjects that the Baronal Laws are their for your protection and all who violate them will be caught and punished by Baron William Montgomery.

.

Lord Abendroth and the Baron Agreed on a very lenient sentencing.

Lord Abendroth declined Obliteration of either party, and the required second death for crimes commited.

The Baron declined Exile in both cases and Obliteration for Crimes commited.

Both were allowed to keep their belongings and were sentenced to Execution and 3 months in Jail.

Marcus Sykes and Sir Germaine
[/size]

Marcus Sykes, Squire Winks, Lathien,  Sir Johnathon, Thomas the Carpenter, and Blade were involved in the Death of Sir Germaine.

However before we move forward it is to be stated that Squire Winks, Lathien, Sir Johnathon, Thomas, and Blade have been pronounced Magically coerced in to these actions pending further investigation.

Sir Germaine was patrolling the Barony at night and ran in to a large group of what he believed was bandits assaulting the caravans, however he was set upon by the large group and as he fell to the larger force he recognized towns members of Travance striking him.

Upon resurrection at the focus he informed the Baron of what had happened and a group of Loyal towns members that contained but was not limited to The Baron, Lord and Lady Blackthorne, Lord and Lady Abendroth.,Sir Lyle and Sir Tellinghast of Alisandria, Myself and Soloman DarkHeart.

After much searching we found Squire Winks in the Attic of the Inn, who when accused of this Crime seemed confused and entered in to custody with no resistance. Domination of him provided a story with many missing pieces and different events then that of Sir Germaine. Agreement of punishment with Lord Abendroth and Sir Germaine was execution.

The Story as told by Squire Winks was that he was in a large group with others he could not recall and was ordered by Marcus Sykes to kill Sir Germaine which he followed believing Marcus to be a type of Winterdark Noble.

He repeated the same story word for word and appeared to have his memory altered in some way. However all detection used on the Victims turned out to detect no abnormalities.

Sir Lyle and Sir Tellinghast approached Marcus Sykes and confronted him with the information that he lead an attack of towns members and killed Sir Germaine was met with his sudden disappearance after many hours of tracking those involved apprehended Marcus and he was Dominated in order to reach the conclusion of this Crime.

He stated that he Magically Coerced, Squire Winks, Lathien, Sir Johnathon, Thomas the Carpenter, and Blade and had them dominated for most of the evening, he began doing this after he had a chance encounter with the Avatar of Aguarra.

He was found Guilty of Cohesion with Dark Forces and the Death of Sir Germanine

No proof was found that he was doing this of his own free will, nor proof that he was compelled to do so against his will.

He was executed by Sir Germaine and the Baron. His exile was declined by both the Baron and Sir Germaine as this was extremely against his normal personality and was spoken of favorably by both Alisandria and Dregamire Nobility.

He stated that he commanded Lathien, Sir Johnathon, Thomas the Carpenter, and Blade to run and hide in the Woods after the Murder.

When the magic runs out and they can return to Travance, I will be questioning them to make sure their story and missing memories all agree or they will share Marcus's sentence.

If anyone has anymore information on either of these cases feel free to message me.
