The Guard will be holding a recruitment for the remaining slots left open. We shall meet at ten bells after midnight, on the morning of the Baronial feast.
Anyone signing up to be a guardsmen, must be aware that their term will be no shorter than six months. If they are a Vassal of a land, they must inform their Lord they wish to join the guard; and if accepted, that they have a priority to the guard over other matters. The they are a member of a guild, they must inform their guild master; and if accepted, that they have a priority to the guard over other matters.
If you are accepted to the guard, you must make meetings and drills a priority, and must show up ON TIME. These exercises serve a purpose, and are not to be taken lightly.
Guardsmen must know how to read and write, know how to tend wounds in some way, and be able to defend them self martially. Guardsmen must be willing to do regular patrols, and escort town's members to their beds.
All men and women that were made guardsmen as of the last recruitment are to attend this recruitment. Directly following, we will hold a meeting. After the meeting there may be drills for marching, combat, and lessons.
In service to the Barony of Travance,
Captain Oren Zero Tenderson of the Royal Baronial Guard of Travance.
