Pendarvin Spring Festival! was created by Ardentfyre (Ardentfyre)
People of Travance,
I, Lord Antrim Ardentfyre of Pendarvin, invite all to join the nobility and vassals of Pendarvin in a celebration of spring this coming Baronial Feast.
All are invited both Friday eve of this Baronial Feast and during the Baronial feast day between the hours of high noon and four bells.
Friday eve all are welcome to free libations provided by House Van Zandt, games of chance, and merriment by our fire.
During the feastday afternoon all are welcome to grilled meats, more libations, a Tournament of Martial Combat, Games of Chance and betting, and any brave enough to combat a monster from the Deck of Illusions.
Tournament of Martial Combat - Sign up all morning for our martial tournament at two bells. Traditional noble style, single blades touch competition in bracketed organization. Even a common man can try his luck wielding a blade in our tournament! Come one, come all! A mithril weapon of your choice will be provided to the champion in addition to 100 gold!
Games of Chance - Dice, cards games and betting on the martial tournament and warriors fighting illusory monsters.
Deck of Illusions - A magical deck of cards recently recovered A card may be turned for any willing participant and a magical illusory monster will appear to battle the participant! Defeating the monster is rumored to grant a mystical boon....
Throughout the course of the weekend a Scavenger Hunt will ensue! Come see any of the nobility or vassals of Pendarvin for a list from the beginning of the feast until the feastday afternoon.
The person or persons returning with the most items on the scavenger hunt list at four bells past high noon on the feastday and willing to pledge their service to Pendarvin, will be granted ownership of a tavern within Honor's Peak! The second place and third place participants will also receive prizes! In the event that the winner is ineligible to pledge their service to Pendarvin, they may choose another prize and the second place or third place winner will receive ownership of the tavern.
First Prize: A tavern in Honor's Peak to call your own!
Second Prize: A minor magical item created by Lord Ardentfyre
Third Prize: Gem valued at 50 gold pieces
