Urgent letter from Count Winterdark
People of Travance,
There are those who believe that a Pegasus was born into this world almost a year ago. There are also those who believe that this creature holds the key to healing the planar damage and closing the chaos portals all over the world. Those who have brought this information to us are trustworthy and so we will begin to divert our resources to this mission.
We do not have any leads other than the creatures existence itself. As such, this mission will be like attempting to find a needle in a haystack, though this will not prevent us from trying. The Kingdom has at its resources one hundred Gatestones, devices capable of bringing you back to a starting location. We have already sent out eighty-two scouts from various locations to spread out and search.
The remaining eighteen Gatestones have been sent to Travance, along with a small chest of gold. Each leader of the five provinces of Travance and the barony itself are to choose three individuals who will volunteer for this mission. Each selected volunteer will be given one Gatestone, fifty gold in order to refresh supplies on the road, a royal decree demanding all those met support the mission and full access to the reaching room and the gates of passage, so that they may search across the world.
If you wish to volunteer, contact your local lord or leader immediately. Upon volunteering to your local lord and then being chosen by them, you will be given the above items and will have no more then a single day to prepare your equipment and set off. If you encounter any solid lead on this Pegasus you are to use the Gatestone to return and report to your superiors. Alternatively the Gatestone should be used if you feel your mission has met a complete dead end or if your life is in immediate and eminent danger.
Although we know that many of you will wish to volunteer, know as well that your presence to stay and defend the kingdom wherever you are at is also of great importance.
I will expect the lords to choose from their volunteers within one day of this missive being posted. There is no time for delay.

- Only volunteer for this mission if your character is physically going to be in attendance of the December event! (This is important)
- If you volunteer and are chosen to go scouting for the Pegasus, you must choose a location in the world that your character is choosing to search. It does not matter if multiple people are searching the same general area, as even each area is vast.
- If you are chosen, you may not make any more IG posts between now and the beginning of the event, including PM's.
-If you do volunteer to go scouting for the Pegasus, you must accept the fact that there is a possibility of a negative outcome to your character.
- If you do go scouting, you will receive your outcomes on the Wednesday before the event.
- Players of the Lords, or the appropriate high ranking Noble around, are to e-mail me the names of the three people who are being chosen In and OOG names, along with those players e-mail addresses, and the general location that character is checking i.e. Selendrias, Coast Have, The Highlands, etc… ))
