Greetings brothers and sisters I have met and not met alike.
I hope to show gratitude to my new neighbors. This coming feast shall fall very shortly after my anniversary of birth, and I should like to mark the occasion in the Kormyrian style. To this end, any and all who would read this should consider themselves invited to join me in this celebration! I shall prepare grilled skewers of beef and chicken in the style of the Barbarian Horsemen of Khitan. For my fellow eaters of only vegetables there will be grilled eggplant and zucchini. I shall also bring my last reserve of this years seasonal cherry wine.
I shall host the festivities in conjunction with one of my favorite feast weekend events; the song circle of the Bards of Travance!
While I would not turn away generosity, in place of the Kormyrian custom of gift-giving, I would prefer that attendees would bring something to share. A tale, a song, or something to please the tongue are all very much welcomed.
I hope to see many familiar and new faces there!

Sister Rowan,
I am most glad to hear your voice in this matter! I was intending to host this celebration at the usual meeting of the song circle. I may be mistaken, but I believe it usually occurs in the early afternoon on the Saturday of feast weekend. If this is not a set time, I would be glad to have your input to collaborate in timing.

Imrahil,
My humble thanks for your invitation. During the extended feast, we held not one but two song circles at Kaladonia, presumably due to their excellent firepit. Since you will be providing food -- and you have my gratitude for that as well -- we should ask our Kaladonian friends to host us once more. In the beginning, the song circles were held in the grove near the Inn and yes, they were early in the afternoon on Saturday. Closer to the Feast, which is fast approaching, we should know when and where.
Warm Regards,
Nalick

Thank you for the clarification brother Nalick. It seems assumption is as ever a detriment. Perchance, might you know whom within Kaledonia might bear the authority to consider such a request? I would certainly like to seek approval as soon as is possible. Your company is ever welcome, and I hope to see you there!

I would ask Knight Protector Anhil for permission. That's all I know.

This was my thought, but assumption has already led me astray. Thank you brother Whisperwood. I shall send him a missive at the next opportunity. I hope to see you there!

Imrahil,
Should your missive to Knight Protector Shadesar go astray, please contact either Squire Caelvan Renaith or Squire Typhon Scyldinga for permission. I am happy to have the bards join us in Kaladonia, but do not bear the authority to grant such things. I send this because I know that Anhil finds himself quite busy with the organization of Kaladonia and may not respond to your message in a timely manner.
I look forward to celebrating your birthday with you, my friend. I will attempt to join you, but if I am unable to make it to the Proper this feast, I will endeavor to visit you between feasts.

As I you sister Lorelai, your company is always a pleasure. If you haven't the time this feast, you are always welcome to stop at my shop, and the tea kettle is never far from a boil. Thank you for your advice. It seems I have more ravens to send than anticipated!

It seems that parties are going to be a plenty this moon. Imrahil I will try to stop by to celebration. If you wish I could tell a Skaldic. Save one of those meat sticks for me! Kaladonia is a wonderful land to be a part of. They were so gracious to allow my kin and I to hold our moot in February.
I hope this new year in your life brings great strength and wisdom beyond measure.
Signed, With Truth,
Jack Dimms

With confirmations secured, the festivities shall commence shortly after noon the Saturday of feast weekend at the fire pit of Kaledonia. I look forward to celebrating my first year in Travance with you all, and many thanks to our gracious hosts!
