Gaian Mass for January

Gothi Caldor and I will be offering a distinctly Gaian Mass at the Feast this coming January on Friday night at midnight at the Winterdark Manor.

I shall endeavor as always to attend. It has been far too long since I have had the opportunity to meet with many of you un-distracted. Some of your oft prophetic words may again prove just what I need brother Caldor and Mother Maralas.

I will also be there, perhaps this is what was missing this moon. I need once again to be surrounded by calm hearts and minds.

People of Travance,

It is the time of year where I find myself on pilgrimage to various areas, and I thought it long overdue to return to the place I called home for nearly five years. The first night of this upcoming Baronial feast will find me once again within the borders of the Proper. Alas, I will only be in town for a few hours, but hopefully the trip will be productive for those that would lend me some of their time.

As a survivor of both the Goblinoid conflict with New Gaaldron in 1202, and the entity known as the Dark Rider, I am no stranger to the trying times and fight for survival those of you that call this place home must endure every day. Sadly, the fight with the Rider claimed not only the life of our Baron at the time, but also the life of my mentor, Saint Larcen Treewatcher. He set me on the path to worship of Gaia, and once word had crossed the Rift to the church of his passing and what had been endured, my presence was requested. In time, my training as a priest was completed, and I was asked to assume the mantle of Cardinal, to pick up where my mentor had left off.

I plan on attending the midnight mass, and would request the presence of the Gaian clergy and followers immediately after the service has concluded. If I have not crossed paths with her by then, I would also request that the Bishop join us if she is able. Any other clergy of Light or their followers are welcome to attend(including those pledged to the Great Keeper, Chronicler), as this is merely a way for me to meet the current religious presence of Travance, and to get to know you all better. Also, this will allow me to assess the recent goings-on that rumors have only hinted at on the other side of the Rift, so that I might return to my post and do what I can to help if I am able.
