Never Give Up! - Submissions requested for the December Chronicle

If you are going through the abyss, keep on going!

With winter fast approaching, now is a good time to consider perseverance. It has been said that “perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other.” Great works are achieved not by strength but by perseverance. For the December issue of the Chronicle, we are seeking tales of determination and persistence.

Perhaps you have a story of when you kept going, long after any sane person would have left and gone back home. Maybe you are stubborn, or very-well-motivated, or you just hate to give up. Sometimes a sunny memory or a diverting piece of art can be the push you need to get by, so we also encourage sharing things to help others through whatever their struggles are. Art is rare and so enlightening during the doldrums of winter - please share!

If you have a tale of resolution and tenacity, the Chronicle would like to print it! Anonymous submissions will be accepted, but remember that anonymity is limited to our readers.

In addition to stories about perseverance, we also encourage you to write about recent events you have experienced. If you want to contribute, but are uncertain of a topic, feel free to contact one of the editors for suggestions. Pay is 10 gold per article, poem, or piece of artwork; in addition, the Barony considers it service to the common good ((OOG: 400 SP, and build for consistent contributors)).

Deadline is Sunday, November 29th, 1215.

Travance - please submit your Perseverance articles, artwork, or other stories and submissions by this Monday night. We are a bit light on the submissions as yet this moon, and I think some folks have been on Harvest holiday. Now's the time!
