A Sharing Of Knowledge

Greetings and salutations, my good Travancians!

Some moons ago, before the attack of the Nulls, I hosted a small gathering for the purpose of teaching, learning, and otherwise sharing in knowledge and the pleasure of learned company.

After awaiting for the hubbub to die down, and some studying of my own, I feel now to be an excellent time to once again host another such gathering. I will be arriving at approximately eleven bells, should a suitable location be found for this.

As before, if anyone has anything they wish to learn about, I am possessed of a great many volumes in my library I can bring with me in exchange for learning something I do not already know. Simply post here what you wish to learn about and I can see if I have a volume containing information about your topic in my library.

As before, please bring tea and/or light refreshments.

-S. Nagell

Mister Nagell,

While I am new to Travance and admittedly know very little of this world, I would be happy to exchange knowledge of the isle of Mercy for any information about espers or the black dragon Telegrim.

I look forward to meeting you.

Good evening Mr. Nagell,

I appreciate the offer of knowledge. There are some things that I feel I need to update myself on, so provided the time is acceptable, I would like to participate in this exchange. Thank you.

S. Nagell,

Am I correct to assume this is Friday evening at 11:00pm. If so I would like to attend to see what knowledge I can learn.

Hello again, Mr. Nagell.

More often than I'd care to admit, I tend to lack the necessary social graces. Therefore etiquette would definitely be something to learn more about, if you've any volumes on the subject.

The time would indeed be 11 bells in the evening of the day before your feast. The last time I was here, the good Loremaster Haroldson saw fit to graciously offer the use of his statehouse for the meeting. Should he feel so inclined again, it could perhaps be hosted there. If not, I am quite certain an alternate location can be arranged.

I shall peruse my library for information on the topics requested, but all should feel free to attend and seek what knowledge they may.

If it is to be late in the evening, then I guess it can't be helped. I am not expected to arrive until morning on the day of the feast, so I will not be able to participate. Unfortunate, but it happens.

Knowledge, the greatest form of power. I am already fairly knowledgable in many things, however, in the off chance you may have something to teach me that I do not already know, it would be a great benefit to Travance.

I would not mind trading information with you about Dragons, Magic, Psionics or Undead though, I am not sure that my teachers had the best knowledge of these topics.

A pleasure to see you will be visiting us again, Mr. Nagell.

If possible I would like to get any information you have on the nature of Visigalis vs Arawyn, Source of Divine Power, how to imprison a Time Reaver, Joshua X, Dysmere, an ancient divine symbol of an arrow pointed up and arrow pointed down, and Tyrelian steel.

Thank you so much and I shall try to bring an offering of food.

I shall send some of my more exotic tomes along with an attendee so you can peruse them for any knowledge you don't possess. You are of course welcome, Mr Fletcher! It is my hope that this be seen as an open and inclusive sort of meeting for any to partake in.

Ms. GraLucia, I can safely say with confidence I do not have information on those topics within my collection, as they all sound entirely unfamiliar to me, I am very sorry to say.

Sir Cypher, alas and alack. But hopefully soon one day we shall be able to sit down and share some knowledge over a cup of tea.

Nalick - it just so happens I wrote a manuscript on etiquette which should be laying about in one of the libraries in Travance. If not, I can certainly teach it. As to Devils (both arch and "common"), werecreatures, Giants and vampyres, I have the lores of all, and manuscripts of some. Of Giants, there are several classes and species, so a bit of specificity would be nice. IT just so happens that I have been doing a great deal of research on all the sources of power, Divine, Arcane, Primal, and Psionic. I include Bardics in with the Arcane, which is how I got started on the topic.

I see no problem with meeting in the Pendarvin Statehouse and using the resources of my library as well. I will make certain that Lord Silverbow has no plans for the State House
's use at that timeI will provide some wine, water for tea (we have some teas on hand, and mugs as well) and, to quote Mordra from several months ago, some "scrumptious snacks."

If those planning on attending will tell Mr Nagell of their intentions by this coming Tuesday, I can better plan for things.

This meeting brings me much excitement. I have many things that I should like to learn about and I may be requesting to borrow some books from the library with the permissions of their owners. The main topics of my research is on the Barony, its surrounding five lands, the rulers and hierarchy of these lands, the guilds of Travance, and their structure. Then when I am not asking people about about their land associations and responsibilities, I should like to learn about the druidic arts and their origins.
