Time:Friday evening/early Saturday
First Bell (1 AM)

There will be drinks, music, dancing, and gambling.

Maybe he wants to make friends with his foes and that's why he's inviting them. Having foes is no fun, but having friends is lots of fun! So if you can have less foes and more friends just by being nice (which is also fun!), then why wouldn't you want to be nice to them? I think it's a great idea! You're really smart, Mr. Tanwyn! But you don't look like you were born today. You look older than a newborn. Did someone have a new baby named Calven Tanwyn? I like babies! They're cute! I like parties too! I wanna come!
