January 1217 Chronicle - "Talk of the Town"

It can be tough to keep up on what's happening in this town, and it can be especially difficult to know who to ask. With the new year, let's focus on talking and sharing information. What information do you know to help the town, or where do you go to when you need to know something? Who is your go-to when you need to know what's happening?

Let's begin 1217 with the hope we and our friends have given to Arawyn.

All articles and artwork can be sent to our offices in Honor's Peak []. This month we do not need Monster of the Month, as someone is already covering this column, but we are still seeking authors for Events of Last Feast.

Payment remains the same for articles:
Informative (article or artwork) - 10 gold, recognition of your service to the Barony [500 sp] and the experience of spreading useful knowledge [1 build].
Story/Anecdote/Poem/Song (or other artwork) - 10 gold and recognition for your service to the Barony's arts [500 sp].
Advertisements - 5 gold, for the first print, if it can be run for several months. 2 gold if it is for 1-2 months, once.

This is just a reminder. If you have written for the Travance Chronicle this month or have in the last year and have not yet been paid for it, please come and find me this upcoming Feast.

As has been discussed previously, payments a year or more old will be forfeit. This means if you wrote for the Chronicle in January 1216, this will be your last moon to collect these wages. I will be sending missives to individuals still owed pay from last year. If you receive one of these missives and cannot be present at this upcoming feast, please respond and we will make arrangements.

When is the deadline? If you can grant me one sooner than the actual, I may have it in on time.
